We measured noninvasively step velocities of elementary two-dimensional (2D) islands on {110} faces of tetragonal lysozyme crystals, under various supersaturations, by laser confocal microscopy combined with differential interference contrast microscopy. We studied the correlation between the effects of protein impurities on the growth of elementary steps and their adsorption sites on a crystal surface, using three kinds of proteins: fluorescent-labeled lysozyme (F-lysozyme), covalently bonded dimers of lysozyme (dimer), and a 18 kDa polypeptide (18 kDa). These three protein impurities suppressed the advancement of the steps. However, they exhibited different supersaturation dependencies of the suppression of the step velocities. To clarify the cause of this difference, we observed in situ the adsorption sites of individual molecules of F-lysozyme and fluorescent-labeled dimer (F-dimer) on the crystal surface by single-molecule visualization. We found that F-lysozyme adsorbed preferentially on steps (i.e., kinks), whereas F-dimer adsorbed randomly on terraces. Taking into account the different adsorption sites of F-lysozyme and F-dimer, we could successfully explain the different effects of the impurities on the step velocities. These observations strongly suggest that 18 kDa also adsorbs randomly on terraces. Seikagaku lysozyme exhibited a complex effect that could not alone be explained by the two major impurities (dimer and 18 kDa) present in Seikagaku lysozyme, indicating that trace amounts of other impurities significantly affect the step advancement.

通过使用基于非正交网格有限体积法的FLUTRAPP(fluid flow and transport phenomena pro-gram)程序模拟了工业8 in单晶硅提拉法生长过程.数值模拟结果表明,流场及提拉速率在单晶硅生长过程中具有振荡特性,提拉速率的振荡周期大约为2 min.尖形磁场的引入能够抑制坩埚中熔体流动的振荡,减小提拉速率的振幅,从而有利于提高所生长单晶的质量.

As reservas brasileiras de petróleo e gás natural apresentarão um significativo crescimento a partir do desenvolvimento das reservas da camada do pré-sal. Segundo estimativas elaboradas pela EPE e pela EIA, nos próximos vinte anos, haverá um quadro de grande oferta de gás natural no país, com a oferta excedendo a demanda. Como o segmento de transporte do gás natural tem grande importância na formação do custo desse energético, uma tecnologia de transporte menos onerosa irá proporcionar um cenário mais vantajoso para a entrada do gás no mercado. A presente dissertação analisa duas tecnologias disponíveis para escoamento do gás natural da camada pré-sal gasoduto submarino e gás natural liquefeito embarcado e as possibilidades de utilização no mercado interno ou para ser exportado. De acordo com dados da Petrobras, foram utilizadas três rotas para escoar o gás do pré-sal. A metodologia Valor Presente Líquido (VPL) foi utilizada para analisar qual dos investimentos em transporte é mais viável economicamente. Os resultados mostraram que de acordo com as perspectivas de produção do gás natural no horizonte de tempo analisado as duas tecnologias serão viáveis, com o transporte por gasodutos a alternativa mais viável economicamente.

We report on three-dimensional precipitation of Au nanoparticles in gold ions-doped silicate glasses by a femtosecond laser irradiation and further annealing. Experimental results show that PbO addition plays the double roles of inhibiting hole-trapped centers generation and promoting formation and growth of gold nanoparticles. Additionally, glass containing PbO shows an increased non-linear absorption after femtosecond laser irradiation and annealing. The observed phenomena are significant for applications such as fabrications of three-dimensional multi-colored images inside transparent materials and three-dimensional optical memory, and integrated micro-optical switches. 采用中频感应提拉法生长出尺寸为Ф60mm×110mm的Ce:Lu1.6Y0.4SiO5(LYSO)晶体,与LSO晶体相比,LYSO晶体的优势是提高了晶体质量、降低了熔点和原料成本等.在室温下测试了LYSO晶体的透过光谱、激发光谱和发射光谱,结果表明Y的加入使LSO晶体的吸收边向短波方向偏移.Ce^3+的4f^1→5d^1跃迁吸收导致紫外区产生三个吸收带.发射光谱具有Ce^3+典型的双峰特征,经Gaussian多峰值拟合,双峰395nm和418nm归属于Ce1发光中心,而435nm的发光峰与Ce2发光中心有

应用中频感应提拉法生长了新型的Nd:(La,Sr)(Al,Ta)O3(Nd^3+:LSAT)晶体。运用电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱仪(ICPAES)测定Nd^3+离子在Nd^3+:LSAT晶体中的分凝系数为0.587。X射线粉末衍射(XRPD)测试结果表明Nd^3+:LSAT晶体与LSAT晶体同构。研究了不同退火条件对晶体光谱性能的影响。分析了Nd^3+:LSAT晶体的光谱性能,Nd^3+:LSAT晶体的荧光寿命为290μs。比较了Nd^3+:LSAT和Nd^3+:YAG,Nd^3+:YVO3等晶体的光谱

Large sized neodymium-doped Y3Al5O12 (Nd:YAG) laser crystals have been grown by temperature gradient technique (TGT) method and compared with Czochralski (Cz) method. The comparison of these two crystal growth methods has been listed. The results showed that the TGT method has many advantages over the Cz method. The concentration distribution of Nd ions in the crystals was determined and the absorption spectra of these crystals have been investigated and compared. The TGT grown highly doped Nd:YAG crystal has a larger absorption FWHM than that of Cz grown Nd:YAG crysral. Highly doped Nd:YAG (similar to 2.8 at. pct) crystals could be obtained by TGT.

研究了提拉法生长的镓酸锂单晶的生长习性和结晶质量。晶体表面呈乳白色且表面粗糙。通过光学显微镜、四晶X射线衍射、透射光谱和电感耦合等离子体发射光谱对样品进行了表征,结果表明,在(001)面的抛光样品上存在三种缺陷:[110]和[-110]方向的十字线、[010]方向排列的气泡包裹物以及平行于(010)面的界面,界面的产生起因于(010)晶面的滑移;晶体的结晶质量从顶部到底部逐渐下降,这是由于在生长过程中氧化锂的挥发导致熔体成分偏离化学计量比造成的。

应用中频感应提拉法生长出不同掺杂浓度的Yb:FAP激光晶体,运用电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱仪(ICP-AES)测定了Yb^3+离子存Yb:FAP晶体中的分凝系数约为0.03。随着晶体的生长,晶体中Yb^3+离子的轴向浓度逐渐增大。研究Yb:FAP晶体在77K和300K温度下的吸收光谱发现,振动谱的变化主要是由电子-声子近共振耦合作用引起的。系统地研究了不同Yb^3+离子掺杂浓度Yb:FAP晶体的吸收光谱和荧光光谱。通过吸收光谱的测量计算了晶体的吸收截面。Yb:FAP晶体在904nm和982nm处存在Yb

采用中频感应提拉法生长了Yb:FAP晶体。对晶体生长中影响晶体质量的因素特别是原料的处理、CaF2的挥发等进行了研究和讨论。运用ICP-AES测定Yb^3+离子在Yb:FAP晶体中的分凝系数。对Yb:FAP晶体进行了高分辨X射线的四圆衍射实验,结果表明晶体具有比较高的晶格完整性。

The twin defects in Ce:YAP were investigated by using synchrotron radiation topography and etch figures. The results show that the twins are {101} and {121} types, and the exchange of neighboring lattice parameters is considered to be the intrinsic factor for twining. Based on such analysis, the twin structure model was established. Otherwise, the growth experiment results show that the abrupt change of growth rate during shoulder formation tends to cause twining.

采用提拉法成功地生长了高质量的LiGaO2单晶体,生长过程中没有观察到挥发现象。通过四晶X射线衍射、化学腐蚀、光学显微、透过光谱以及原子力显微镜对晶体的质量进行了表征。结果表明:晶体中无包裹物及气泡,具有很高的质量,(001)面晶片的摇摆曲线半高宽仅为16.2arcsec,正交的(001)、(100)及(010)三个晶面具有不同的腐蚀形貌,其位错密度均低于10^4/cm^2;LiGaO2晶体的吸收边约为220nm;化学机械抛光后的晶片表面非常光滑,其均方根粗糙度仅为0.1nm(5×5μm^2)。

应用中频感应提拉法生长出掺杂浓度为2%原子分数的Sm:GdVO4晶体,研究了室温下c轴方向Sm:GdVO4晶体的吸收和荧光光谱。通过J-O理论计算出强度参数(Ωt),同时计算了对应于4G5/2能级的自发跃迁几率、荧光分支比和辐射寿命。通过荧光光谱计算了对应于566、604和646nm三个发射峰对应的发射截面,结果表明,Sm:GdVO4在604nm的发射截面最大,是掺Sm:YAP在607nm处发射截面的4.4倍。

导模法是一种极具应用潜力的晶体生长方法,具有生长速度快,加工成本低的优点,广泛用于生长各种形状的晶体。对导模法的原理、特点和发展历史进行了简单介绍,着重论述了导模法在生长有形蓝宝石和硅晶体中的发展和应用,对目前导模法生长晶体过程中存在的问题做了简单的介绍。
