Polifonias Políticas e Pedagógicas: Villa-Lobos no Instituto de Educação do Rio de Janeiro na Era Vargas

O objetivo do presente trabalho é analisar as propostas políticas, identitárias e pedagógicas orfeônicas de Villa-Lobos no Instituto de Educação do Rio de Janeiro, no período da Era Vargas. O corpus documental mobilizado neste estudo é constituído por correspondências, relatórios, hinários, cancioneiros, manuais pedagógicos e artigos de periódicos da época em questão. Esses documentos são articulados com três entrevistas, realizadas com professoras de música, ex-alunas da instituição. Nessa perspectiva, buscou-se entender como se deu a aproximação do projeto musical-pedagógico villalobiano com as ideias do Manifesto dos Pioneiros da Educação Nova, de 1932, que trabalharam no Instituto, a saber: Anísio Teixeira, Afranio Peixoto e Fernando de Azevedo. Coloca-se em baila o repertório pedagógico villalobiano e suas conexões com as ideologias fomentadas pelo governo do Getúlio Vargas, por meio das canções escolares, patrióticas, militares, de ofício e folclóricas. Dedica-se também à compreensão das relações do Maestro com os outros docentes da disciplina Música e Canto Orfeônico do Instituto de Educação: o compositor nacionalista Oscar Lorenzo Fernandez, o pianista José Vieira Brandão e catedrática Ceição de Barros Barreto. Por meio desta investigação foi possível entender que a consolidação do Canto Orfeônico na escola da então capital da República deu-se por sua consonância com o ideário dos pioneiros escolanovistas, que defendiam o acesso à educação para todos, e com os educadores musicais nacionalistas, professores que trabalhavam motivados pelo desejo de construir uma identidade musical verdadeiramente brasileira

Die relativ geschlossene Welt der mitteleuropäischen Tonalität ist mittlerweile längst nicht mehr in Kunst und Unterhaltung geschieden, vielmehr im Zeitalter der Medien in eine lange Reihe musikalischer Teilkulturen zerfallen. Diesem Phänomen war die Jahrestagung 1982 des Arbeitskreises Musikpädagogische Forschung gewidmet, deren Ergebnisse den vorliegenden Band füllen. Wenn auch — unter anderem durch die kurzfristige Absage einiger grundlegender Referatthemen — beileibe nicht alle Fragen des vielschichtigen Problemfeldes hinreichend beantwortet werden konnten, so darf dennoch konstatiert werden, daß auch offene Fragen die eminente Bedeutung des Tagungsthemas keinesfalls geschmälert haben. Dies hat sich gerade in dem erneut versuchten Dialog mit musikalischen Praktikern (einem Jazz- und einem Punkmusiker, einem Chorleiter, einem Komponisten Neuer Musik, dem Leiter einer Mandolinengesellschaft, einem U-Musik-Redakteur) im Rahmen einer Podiumsdiskussion erwiesen. Relatório de estágio da prática do ensino supervisionada - Reflexão sobre a aprendizagem rítmica

Este relatório de estágio refere-se à prática do ensino supervisionada que efectuei na Escola Secundária 2, 3 Filipa de Lencastre, situada no Concelho de Lisboa, durante o ano lectivo de 2013/2014, sob a orientação de Micaela Patrício, docente dessa mesma escola e no âmbito do mestrado em ensino da educação musical no ensino básico. Neste trabalho é realizada uma síntese das orientações curriculares para o ensino da música nas últimas duas décadas e o relato das aulas assistidas, leccionadas e outras actividades participadas. No final é apresentado um pequeno projecto de investigação sobre a aprendizagem rítmica baseada na Teoria de Aprendizagem Musical de Edwin Gordon

Música i embaràs: l’experiència d’un taller per a mares gestants.

De sempre s’han valorat les experiències que una mare té durant l’embaràs com a vitals pel desenvolupament del futur infant. Sobretot des de les investigacions de Sigmund Freud i Otto Rank entorn del trauma del naixement, diferents teories i escoles han intentat esbrinar unes pautes profilàctiques per tal d’assegurar el bon desenvolupament del nadó. El fet que la música influeix sobre el desenvolupament del fetus humà no es pot discutir, sobretot des de les aportacions de personalitats com Thomas Verny, Oliver Sacks, Frederic Leboyer i experiències com les de les mares cantaires de la maternitat de Pithiviers (París). Aquest article pretén ser un apropament a un taller experimental multidisciplinari per a embarassades que tingué lloc al 2010 a Manacor, promogut per l’Associació 0-3 Anys, i que inclogué cant, moviment i audició conscient. Hem de pensar, doncs, en una educació musical prenatal?

"En ny musikuppfostran" : Reformpedagogiska anspråk i Siljanskolans bildningsinnehåll

 ”A new form of musical upbringing”: Pretenses of reform pedagogy content in the Siljan school In this article, I describe the Siljan school in Tällberg as a Swedish example of alternative pedagogy. The overall questions relate to the reform pedagogy content of the school and its ability to give Swedish music teaching a new form of musical upbringing. An important issue is how the Siljan school as a model for Swedish reform has been inspired by the reform pedagogy movements in USA and Germany. Te analysis is thus based on the Alm couple’s ability to give the school an international character which shines light on Swedish reforms in the greater context of reform pedagogy. With its basis in discursive education of the 1930s, two main questions are discussed: what perspective on musical education can be identifed in the personal development ethos of the Siljan school? How can the school’s relation to the reform pedagogy music movement during the start of the 1900s be understood? From a hermeneutic perspective, the article contributes by investigating how the Siljan school can have afected decisions in education politics, Swedish schooling, and Swedish musical life. In summary, the article contributes with new knowledge on a chapter in the history of Swedish music pedagogy.

Bandas de música, escolas de vida

The focus of this dissertation is to understand the child and youth musical learning trajectory by using two philharmonic orchestras from Seridó, an area in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. One is called the Hermann Gmeiner Philharmonic Orchestra of Aldeias Infantis SOS Project from Caicó, and the other is the 24 de Outubro Philharmonic Orchestra from Cruzeta. It emphasizes the singular relationship between the band s master and his students, based on a permanent interaction with tradition, creativity and change, resulting from a shared educational process. The idea that unites the work of these two communities is the gamble about the individual's formation as a complex human being, which it is not just concerned with the learning of a musical instrument, but is, more importantly, an educational process capable of facilitating the discovery of the self, others and society. The history and the course of the musical education of these two experiences were facilitated using a base of semi-structured interviews of the bands masters, students and people from two municipal districts. Their history is understood through analysis of the band s pictures and the theoretical-social approach is governed by the complexity idea expressed by Edgar Morin. For the author, complex means to `weave together`; therefore it is multidimensional, and it creates a dialogue about several domains and aspects that occur on the same phenomenon. The complex always supposes creativity and the relationship between the subject s reason and affectivity
