Access to higher education has increased among students with disabilities, and universities are adopting different alternatives which must be assessed. The purpose of this study was to identify the situation of a sample of students with disabilities (n=91) who attend a university in Spain, through the design and validation of the CUNIDIS-d scale, with satisfactory psychometric properties. The results show the importance of making reasoned curriculum adaptations, adapting teacher training, improving accessibility and involving all the university community. Different proposals were provided which support the social dimension of the EHEA.

The transformation of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into knowledge and learning technologies is increasingly becoming a matter of concern. Teaching settings associated with the use of blogs in Higher Education are presented in this paper, proceeding from an innovative learning experience of projects carried out by a group of professors between 2009 and 2013. Both, teachers and students who took part in the subjects that implemented the blog, considered it as helpful resource to create a virtual and learning-teaching environment due to the multiple potentialities it offers. Among some of these potentialities, some stand out: it makes easier the access to knowledge, promotes a more active and reflective learning, expands the social experience of learning, provides evidence about the students progress which helps to reorient the teaching-learning process, and encourages the critical judgment. Nevertheless, several problems related with the students participation and the teachers blog management have been identified.

The present study aims to identify the framework of personal, organizational and technical variables that contribute to the viability and successful of innovative educational practices with video games within the school context to enhance the multiple intelligences. For this purpose, advantage was taken on the information previously collected through a questionnaire about the views, thoughts and experiences of a group of teachers of childhood and primary education (N=25) who voluntarily participated in a blended training activity from Center of Teachers (CEFIRE) of Valencia, around a community of practice aimed at promoting and advising projects for implementing educational video games in the classroom. The mixed methodology adopted has allowed the following: a) describe the relationship between their degree of development and daily use made of ICT in the classroom, their level of familiarity with video games, their previous experience to integrate them for educational purposes..., and their participation in projects that focus on game-based learning; b) conduct content analysis of the opinions and thoughts expressed in a forum for teachers on innovation on and methodological strategies adopted reflected in a virtual board; and c) develop a SWOT analysis: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats inherent in the implementation of experience with video games in the classroom. Among the conclusions, it is highlighted that, even though most did not have specific training or enough technological resources and the planning and implementation of innovation required them a great investment of time, their personal interest, the support given by members of the online community of practice, helped to encourage their activity, along with receptivity, positive attitude and high motivation of students with the experience. These aspects have been crucial to promote successful innovative practices with video games.

The Law of 17 July 1965 on the structure of university faculties and their teaching staff placed the figure of the university senior lecturer on stage. During the sixties, the gestation process, adoption and subsequent integration of the new figure in the academic pyramid did not escape controversy, leading to a complex phenomenon to which, however, non comprehensive studies have been devoted to reveal: how, when, why and under which conditions this teacher appeared in the Spanish University of Francos regime. This paper aims to provide an overview of the process of materialization of the senior lecturer, the legislative framework that definitely established this new educational category and the provisions that were in charge of regulating the processes to get tenure. Also, the first approved aggregate endowments and their distribution among universities, colleges and studies will be discussed. Finally, it was a first approach to the possible motivations that led to the creation of this new educational category in a university afflicted by serious problems waiting for a solution that had been delayed sine die. Asimismo, se analizarn las primeras dotaciones de agregados aprobadas y la distribucin de las mismas por universidades, facultades y estudios. Para terminar, se realiza un primer acercamiento a las posibles motivaciones que condujeron a la creacin de esta nueva figura docente en una universidad aquejada de graves problemas que esperaban a una solucin que vena demorndose sine die.
Barreras invisibles? Actitudes de los estudiantes universitarios ante sus compaeros con discapacidad

El presente trabajo analiza los conocimientos, opiniones y actitudes de los estudiantes universitarios sobre sus compaeros con discapacidad. La integracin educativa y social de estos estudiantes es objeto de preocupacin y estudio en todo el sistema educativo espaol, incluida la enseanza superior en la que 21.942 universitarios con discapacidad se encontraban matriculados en el curso 2013-2014. El estudio se realiza en el marco de dos Proyectos de Innovacin Educativa[1] de la Universidad de Mlaga en los que se examinaron las actitudes del personal docente e investigador, el alumnado en general y el alumnado con discapacidad de esta institucin. En este artculo se recogen las perspectivas de los estudiantes sin discapacidad, necesarias para medir el grado de aceptacin dentro de las aulas universitarias. Se emple una encuesta suministrada mediante correo electrnico a la totalidad de la poblacin de estudiantes de la Universidad de Mlaga (N= 32.464). El tamao de la muestra fue de 620 estudiantes, por lo que trabajamos con un margen de error del 3,9% para la estimacin de los porcentajes con un nivel de confianza del 95%. Los datos, analizados mediante anlisis estadstico, visibilizan la importancia de un elevado grado de informacin y conocimiento as como de una experiencia directa con la discapacidad. Ambas circunstancias se traducen en actitudes ms positivas y favorables. Tan solo el 20% de los alumnos manifest haber recibido en alguna ocasin cualquier tipo de informacin sobre este asunto por parte de la Universidad; no obstante, la mayora valora positivamente la presencia de alumnos con discapacidad en la Universidad, la posibilidad de contar ellos como compaeros de clase y el enriquecimiento que supone esta convivencia dentro del aula. Se discuten posibles acciones para mejorar las actitudes hacia los estudiantes con discapacidad. Adems, se plantea incluir una perspectiva que promueva el empoderamiento de estos estudiantes. En este trabajo se analiza la iconografa y se concreta la datacin y el origen del conjunto de treinta y cinco azulejos nazares decorados en cobalto y reflejo metlico procedentes de la que hemos identificado como capilla de Santiago en la antigua iglesia de San Bartolom, erigida en la Judera de Crdoba tras el asalto de 1391. Se plantea, asimismo, que Diego Fernndez Abencain, judeoconverso y alfaqueque mayor del rey y presumiblemente el comitente de la capilla funeraria, fue quien adquiri los azulejos. Hasta ahora, la nica interpretacin de las escenas figuradas que los decoran apuntaba a una supuesta representacin de alegoras de los sentidos; no obstante, la comparacin con ejemplos paralelos, el estudio de la indumentaria de los personajes y el estilo nos lleva a identificarlas como materializacin de los gustos y aficiones de las clases privilegiadas a comienzos del s. XV: el amor corts, la caza, la fauna, los ministriles especialmente el ciego acompaado de lazarillo, las danzarinas y los catadores de vino; costumbres que el alfaqueque conoci durante sus estancias en la corte y en el desempeo de sus obligaciones, no slo como redentor de cautivos cristianos, sino como trujimn y enviado del infante don Fernando futuro rey de Aragn durante la campaa de Antequera ante la corte nazarita de Granada y en las treguas posteriorment e firmadas con Yusuf III, lo que ha posibilitado concretar la datacin de los azulejos entre 1410 y 1415.

En distintos momentos de su produccin intelectual, Agustn se refiri al asunto de la msica. En este artculo mostraremos que Agustn uso dos esquemas conceptuales distintos para describir el fenmeno de la msica prctica en su relacin con el mundo espiritual, el esquema de las Artes Liberales y el de la teora del signo, y que en virtud de ello la msica sera concebida de dos modos diferentes: como vestigium y como signum del mundo espiritual, respectivamente. Al final del artculo analizaremos la diferencia entre las dos concepciones considerando tres elementos: la naturaleza de la relacin entre mundo material y espiritual, el contenido espiritual al que remite y la nocin de belleza que implica.

Javier Prez Andjar, a travs de su propia memoria, crea en Los prncipes valientes (2007) y Paseos con mi madre (2011) un retrato detallado del extrarradio barcelons. En ambas novelas, el autor combina diferentes elementos: la memoria oral, la metaliteratura, la crnica y la cultura popular. De este modo narra la historia de tres generaciones ubicadas en las afueras de la ciudad. El presente artculo centra su anlisis, basndose en una contextualizacin histrica, en la configuracin del espacio y el estudio de las caractersticas morfolgicas y sociales propias de los extrarradios. Con ello se pretende demostrar la significacin histrica y social del extrarradio en la historia contempornea de Barcelona.

This article demonstrates a visual study on the educational space in which the teaching of body percussion is carried out in universities. The methodological framework is chosen by the Visual Arts Based Educational Research, using the work of an artist as a conceptual and methodological model. The research remains notable (1) due to the theoretical reference to the BAPNE method, (2) due to the visual reference to the work of Isidro Blasco especially with the piece Shanghai Planet 2009 - ;(3) due to the parallelisms established between the object of study in this investigation -the spatial analysis- and the focuses of interest revealed by the art critics in relation to the work of this artist. By means of a visual speech formed with 7 photo-collages the relationship between body and educational space is visualized in the basic disposition of circular learning. The visual constructions by way of photo-collage and their aesthetic charge brings us closer to the intimacy of the educational space, in the style in which it is distributed to the students in the music classroom, the materialization of interpersonal relationships, the occupied and empty volumes.

This article reflects on the changing environment through the passage of time and how certain technologies for a creative proposal allow the preservation and transmission of a significant part of that ephemeral heritage for future generations. The general purpose of this particular project is aimed to achieve the sound synthesis of a specific and representative cityscape as the old train station in Cuenca located in the heart of the city that could be preserved and reproduced as an unique document of a present time, ascertainable in the future: a memory that interpret sound as a time capsule. This soundscape was made to mark the arrival of the high speed train in 2010 to a brand new station in the outskirts of the city. Therefore, the goal of this research was focused on achieving a synthetic document that provided a sound memory capable of reflecting the significant social, cultural and logistical features, of what was until then the only railway communication symbol in the city of Cuenca from 1883 to the first decade of the 21st century.

This research is set in the context of todays societies, in which the corporate visual symbology of a business, corporation or institution constitutes an essential way to transmit its corporate image. Traditional discursive procedures can be discovered in the development of these signs. The rhetorical strategies developed by the great classical authors appear in the logo-symbols expressing the corporate values of todays companies. Thus, rhetoric is emerging once again in the sense it had many centuries ago: A repertory of rules that, paradoxically, standardizes the deviations of language and whose control is synonymous with power. The main objective of this study is to substantiate the rhetorical construction of logos using as a model of analysis the classical process of creating discourse. This involves understanding logos as persuasive discourses addressed to a modern audience. Our findings show that the rhetorical paradigm can be considered as a creative model for the construction of an original logo consistent with a companys image.

Desde su invencin en los aos cincuenta, la poltica cultural ha sido objeto de anlisis y reflexin por parte de las ciencias sociales. No obstante, en Espaa presenta una serie de caractersticas diferenciadoras frente a las democracias occidentales europeas como consecuencia del periodo franquista. Con la recuperacin de la democracia Espaa adquiere el paradigma dominante de una poltica cultural democrtica basada en la libertad, el pluralismo y el derecho a la cultura. Sin embargo, tras dcadas de gobiernos democrticos el diagnstico de la poltica cultural en Espaa presenta rasgos de crisis sistmica, adems de los efectos de la crisis global financiera de inicios del siglo XXI. En este contexto, los autores diagnostican, aplicando la metodologa Delphi y recurriendo a fuentes secundarias, un conjunto de discursos sociales y narrativas que parecen funcionar como recursos cognitivos solucionistas en la esfera artstica y cultural y que no estn exentos de contradicciones y aporas, fruto de su contraste emprico.

In 1990, Juan Antonio Ramrez made known his iconological paranoiac method to the academic world. It is a system devised to study Dals work, born of happy matrimony between the catalonian artists critical paranoiac method and the first iconographic school of Warburg and Panofsky. What, at first sight, seemed to be an extravagant methodology with little academic credibility, turned out to be, by going forward in time, an effective research method when analyzing Dalis initial works. It is no wonder that, at the beginning of XXI century, this hybridization between Dals and Panofskys methods, were regarded as a strange and nonsensical idea. Nevertheless, twenty years after, blatant examples have been noted, which endorse the advantages of this new system for iconographic study. As usual, this new contribution by Juan Antonio Ramirez to art history methodology is called upon to have a successful future survival, in forthcoming generations. This article, attempts to analyze this method, inquiring into the validity, effectiveness and practical utility.

El paso del tiempo tiene una repercusin inevitable sobre las obras de arte. En el caso del arte contemporneo muchos de los valores estticos, culturales o sociales presentes en las mismas, estn vinculados a la apariencia y al uso premeditado de la materia. La transformacin de la materia tiene una repercusin sobre la intencin y el discurso esttico, por ello, y ante la imposibilidad de impedir el cambio, se hace necesaria una profunda reflexin sobre el concepto de autenticidad de la obra de arte y sobre el concepto de ruina prematura. Por otro lado, gracias a la figura del artista contemporneo es posible documentar la produccin actual para determinar si la mutacin de la materia afectar a lo esencial en las obras. En este sentido, el trabajo ha conseguido concretar, para el caso de varios artistas fundamentales del panorama espaol, qu aspectos deben, por ser esenciales, permanecer inmutables con el paso del tiempo.
