A study on security grade assignment model for mobile users in urban computing

The relation between the information/knowledge expression and the physical expression can be involved as one of items for an ambient intelligent computing [2],[3]. Moreover, because there are so many contexts around user/spaces during a user movement, all appplcation which are using AmI for users are based on the relation between user devices and environments. In these situations, it is possible that the AmI may output the wrong result from unreliable contexts by attackers. Recently, establishing a server have been utilizes, so finding secure contexts and make contexts of higher security level for save communication have been given importance. Attackers try to put their devices on the expected path of all users in order to obtain users informationillegally or they may try to broadcast their SPAMS to users. This paper is an extensionof [11] which studies the Security Grade Assignment Model (SGAM) to set Cyber-Society Organization (CSO).

Les acanthopleurocératinés portugais et leurs relations avec les formes subboréales

The evolution of the Portuguese Acanthopleuroceratinae is similar to the celto-souabe succession such as it was described in the collects of the Cottards (Cher, France). A subspecies of one of the oldest Acanthopleuroceras (A. carinatum atlanticum) is abundant in the lower part of the Portuguese Ibex zone; this form is described here. The species is recognized in France by several nuclei associated with A. arietiforme (Cottards-22). Generally the similarity between the successive French and Portuguese populations (A. maugenesti, A. valdani, A. alisiense, junior synonym of A. lepidum TUTCHER and TRUEMAN, 1925), is very good. This fact suggests their specific identity. It is typical for A. lepidum of which the greatest populations allow the biometric comparaisons. In Portugal, the mesogean Tropidaceras are missing. This absence of the subboreal Acanthopleuroceras ancestors suggests the straight celto-souabe derivation of the Portuguese Acanthopleuroceras and not a similar local evolution. A. lepidum the last Acanthopleuroceras reaches the western coast of Canada (British Columbia) probably by the Arctic ocean.

Job quality in Europe: the North-South divide

This paper examines the job quality in Europe. It is based on the results of the Fourth European Foundation Survey on working conditions covering different dimensions including work organisation, job content, autonomy at work, aspects of worker dignity, working time and work-life balance, working conditions and safety in the workplace. The results point to the existence of great diversity in the job quality across Europe and the north-south divide. The job quality differences are related to the variety of social and institutional contexts. The countries of Southern Europe, with their social and institutional contexts falling within the scope of the Mediterranean model, generally present indicators below the European average contrasting Nordic countries having the best job quality indicators.

Nos últimos anos, o avanço da tecnologia e a miniaturização de diversos componentes têm permitido o aparecimento de novos conceitos, ideias e projetos, que até aqui não passariam de filmes de ficção científica. Com a tecnologia atual, podem ser desenvolvidos pequenos dispositivos wearable com diversas interfaces, múltiplas conectividades, poder de processamento e autonomia. Permitindo desta forma, dar resposta à crescente necessidade de interação com os mais diversos equipamentos eletrónicos do dia-a-dia, melhorando o acesso e o fornecimento de informação. O principal objetivo deste trabalho passa assim por demonstrar e implementar um conceito que permita estreitar e facilitar a interação entre o utilizador e o mundo que o rodeia, quer em ambientes domésticos quer industriais. Para isso foi projetado e implementado um dispositivo wearable (para utilização no pulso) baseado numa arquitetura de hardware e software capaz de correr diferentes aplicações, tais como extensão de alertas de um smartphone, crowdsourcing de informações meteorológicas, manutenção e inspeção industrial e monitorização remota de forças de segurança. Os resultados obtidos demonstram que este conceito é viável tanto do ponto de vista técnico como funcional, evidenciando boas hipóteses para que estes conceitos, métodos e tecnologias possam ser integradas em plataformas robóticas desenvolvidas no âmbito de projetos do Laboratório de Sistemas Autónomos (LSA) bem como nos contextos industrial e de lazer.

The Anchitherium remains from several Portuguese localities placed on IVb and Vb (Lisbon area) levels are studied. They are compared with the French and Spanish remains, and particularly with those from the Madrid basin. They are identified as Anchitherium cf. A. ezquerrae from the Vb level remains, because the remains are very scarce.
