An��lisis did��ctico para estudiar la reflexi��n de profesores sobre modelizaci��n en ��lgebra

En la investigacio��n conducente a una tesis doctoral, estudiamos co��mo reflexionan sobre su ensen��anza, profesores de matema��ticas, mientras participan en un curso de formacio��n. La reflexio��n comienza seleccionando un problema profesional. Una de las parejas de profesores se planteo�� profundizar en las dificultades que tienen los alumnos para traducir enunciados a expresiones algebraicas (que los profesores llaman modelizacio��n). Para poder interpretar la reflexio��n hemos realizado un ana��lisis dida��ctico de la ensen��anza del a��lgebra en el inicio de secundaria. En esta comunicacio��n presentamos algunas apreciaciones sobre el papel de la modelizacio��n en a��lgebra y su relacio��n con los diferentes ���roles de las letras en a��lgebra���, que nos servira��n para interpretar los planteamientos y reflexiones de los profesores.

An��lisis y experimentaci��n de juegos como instrumento para ense��ar matem��ticas

Inicialmente, se tratar�� de delimitar el campo de acci��n al que se refiere la palabra juego y qu�� tipo de juegos se propone utilizar. A continuaci��n se considerar��n las razones culturales, matem��ticas, educacionales, sociol��gicas y psicol��gicas que aconsejan su incorporaci��n en la ense��anza de las Matem��ticas y algunas sugerencias que ayuden a determinar su forma de utilizaci��n en el aula. Posteriormente se realizar�� el an��lisis de algunos juegos y, para finalizar, el art��culo se centrar�� en la experimentaci��n en el aula y las conclusiones.

Una visi��n de las matem��ticas

En este trabajo se presenta una visi��n particular de las matem��ticas, por ejemplo ruta matem��tica como recurso did��ctico para utilizar con los estudiantes. Esta visi��n no s��lo se refiere observaci��n, Sino tambi��n e interpretaci��n, aplicaci��n y conexi��n de lo que se ve. Finalmente se exponen algunas sugerencias acerca de su aplicaci��n en las aulas.

A couple of embroiled sheets of Miguel Barnades Manaider and Esteban de Prado in the Herbaria of Real Colegio Alfonso XII of San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid)

In this paper we present a couple of sheets of Umbelliferae that are preserved in the RCAXII herbaria. One of them, Selinum carvifolia, where collected in the Gredos Mountains by Miguel Barnades Mainader and was identified by his son Miguel Barnades Clar��s. The other, Tragium flabellifolium, was collected in Mieres (Asturias) by Esteban de Prado and identified by Mariano La Gasca.

The emotional structure of the advertising message in radio

Radio advertising is suffering from a remarkable crisis of creativity as it has yet not found its role in a radio model based on voice locution and information genres. This article suggests the need for implementing a peripheral or heuristic strategy to attract and hold listeners��� attention. Within this framework, the narration and scene representation are proposed as suitable persuasion techniques. The objective is to design a useful conceptual tool for an efficient creative conception of narration at the service of certain commercial strategy. First, the concept of narrative persuasion is grounded according to the possibilities of the sound code. Second, the keys of scene representation and commercial strategy (brand, product, advantage, benefit and target) within the sound message are presented. And third, these keys are articulated in a model. This model is pre-tested by means of analyzing eight different case-radio ads.

The consequences of child-parent violence reflected in a life story

A process of social transformation allied with ongoing changes to the family has made possible the existence of a relatively little-known phenomenon: that of child-parent violence, which is raised as one of the most commonly experienced forms of violence in the family environment. Based on the study of this phenomenon, in our research we have used the qualitative technique of a life story, making use of a field diary in which we have taken notes on our daily work in the therapeutic context, for the purposes of mitigating the effects of such a process. The following research objectives were set: establishing the connection existing between family education style and the use of violence by the minor; and evaluating the extent to which family therapy mitigates the use of violence by the minor. The family education model, together with other dimensions, results in situations of child-parent violence occurring repeatedly, with continuing negative reinforcement from both parties in order to maintain a recurrent cycle of conduct, from which it is difficult to ��escape�� other than through a process of ongoing psychological therapy.

Estudio de la teor��a de la cultura en la novela Paradiso (1966) del escritor Jos�� Lezama Lima en relaci��n a las menciones a obras de pintura, escultura, arte-objeto, arquitectura y m��sica, as�� como a los aspectos claves que la constituyen. La metodolog��a utilizada se basa en la teor��a del pliegue desarrollada en los postulados culturales y est��tico-filos��ficos de Gilles Deleuze. La tesis consta de los siguientes cap��tulos: Introducci��n: El peso de lo irreal: Imagen, cultura, po��tica. I, Paradiso: La maison baroque. II, Galer��a de coral: Estudio libre de pintura y escultura. III, Arquitectura de la Imagen. IV, Sinfon��a de la Imagen: con la m��sica por dentro. El ��ltimo cap��tulo realiza la interpretaci��n y conclusi��n general, centr��ndose en las tres nociones que sustentan la teor��a cultural del escritor: lo barroco como expresi��n cultural del ser americano, la imagen como clave cultural y el mito como espacio de la cultura.

The journalistic boom that occurred in Argentina from the second half of the nineteenth century saw the emergence of an active afroporte��a press that defend the interests of the black community. This paper, in addition to reviewing the history of the Afro-Argentines newspapers, emphasizes the role played by the elite of African descent in the promotion of modernity among his brothers, while exploring the possible bases for an identity in the ideas spread.

Reality Shows in Chile, origin and road map. Historical-Communication Dialogues

Reality shows are TV programs which represent a format used in television nowadays; however, the observation practices of individual and/or group intimacy dates from thousands years ago. Sometimes this was driven by voyeurism or morbid fascination, some others, by the purpose of guarding, supervising and maintaining status quo. This work offers an alternative answer to the explanation of this type of TV program emergence and relates this appearance to a government procedure bound up with modern State terrorism which began at the end of the eighteenth century and has been recalled by different regimes until present days.

Citizens��� attitudes toward public services. Satisfaction in 2009-2011

The aim of this paper is to study the recent changes on citizens��� satisfaction with the performance ofpublic services, in the period 2009-2011 in Spain. Using data from the surveys on Quality of PublicServices, developed by the Sociological Research Center jointly with the National Agency for theEvaluation of Public Services and Quality of Services, our results show that the level of satisfactionhas slightly increased, which seems to display a greater tendency to positively value public servicesduring economic retrenchment. A major determinant of high satisfaction is self-reported ideology.Besides, immigrants display higher levels of satisfaction than Spaniards.

This paper provides a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the profile of the entrepreneur who decides to start business through a labor society in the context of the Autonomous Community of Andalucia. Thus, first the Social Economy is presented as an important alternative to creating and promoting employment, which seeks to combine economic and social objectives in the development of activities. Subsequently, focusing on labor companies, updated its importance in the regional economy for later data and through the analysis of two samples are available, set the attributes or most significant characteristics of these entrepreneurs.
