Kalin Georgiev, Dimitrina Stavrova - We consider two approaches for introducing topological notions in a course of Computational Topology. One is an intuitive inductive introduction of a notion; the other is theoretical-analytical one. As an example we treat the notions of interior, closure and boundary of a set in a topological space. We analyze several visual representations as well as analytical ones. Examples of tests and quiz problems are considered. Comparisons of student’s achievement on different type of problems are presented.

Реализация на електронно-базирани курсове в магистърска програма за педагози

Daniela Ivanova Dureva–Tuparova In this paper 3 pedagogical scenarios of e-learning courses are performed. The courses have been implemented in blended mode with the students in Master program “ICT in primary schools”. The courses apply different didactical methods such as “Jigsaw” interactive technique, on-line simulations, project based learning, etc. Some results from study of students’ attitude to the used didactical methods and technology enhanced educational activities are presented and discussed.

Аргументиращо мислене в обектно-ориентираното програмиране при изграждането на фундаментални знания за програмирането

Kiril Ivanov - Four criteria for estimating the degree of fundamental programming knowledge acquisition are formulated. The specificity of the proof-oriented thinking in object- oriented programming and its role in the learning of fundamentals are pointed. Two ways of reasoning are distinguished: with an only possible conclusion and with a multiple choice by search of balance between contradictory requirements. Examples of arguments that help considerably the students to understand the basic ideas related to the use of objects and classes in different stages of the software system development are given. Particular attention is paid to the influence of the proof-oriented thinking on the learners’ motivation and hence – on their fundamental knowledge acquisition.

The implementation of new scientific methods and modern technological means in the process of education is a precondition for fulfilling this purpose. The study of informatics is making a significant contribution to the creation of a knowledge-based economy. In view of this the informatics has been studied in several departments of the Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski”. However, due to different reasons the majority of the students have difficulties in mastering this discipline. The present report offers an architecture of computer-based system for helping the whole process of education in informatics.

Обектен подход към извънкласната работа по информатика за начинаещи ученици

Neli Maneva, Plamenka Hristova - The paper is devoted to a new approach to the extracurricular activities in Informatics for beginners, 3–5 grade pupils. Only the first step of our approach are described in detail, namely the modeling of the identified so far objects with prime and secondary importance. Some examples of objects are presented through their main characteristics revealing their peculiarities and the level of significance for the achievements of the stated goals for an efficient performance of the activities under consideration.

Възможности за реализация на раздела “създаване и публикуване на Интернет страници” в 8 клас

Georgi Tuparov - In the paper basic problems related to implementation of topic “Development and publishing of web pages” are discussed. The topic is part of 8-th grade syllabus in IT for Bulgarian schools. A framework for comparison of software tools for implementation of learning objectives and outcomes is performed. The learning content and several groups of software tools are analysed, according to proposed comparison framework.

Валентин В. Илиев - Авторът изучава някои хомоморфни образи G на групата на Артин на плитките върху n нишки в крайни симетрични групи. Получените пермутационни групи G са разширения на симетричната група върху n букви чрез подходяща абелева група. Разширенията G зависят от един целочислен параметър q ≥ 1 и се разцепват тогава и само тогава, когато 4 не дели q. В случая на нечетно q са намерени всички крайномерни неприводими представяния на G, а те от своя страна генерират безкрайна редица от неприводими представяния на групата на плитките.
