These reflections are part of a field survey had a larger scope. Thus, the reflections have focused on a few lines of students. To make it possible to reflect on the social identities of this boys and girls we rely on references that talk about social identities, gender identities, teachers training: Moita Lopes (2002), Auad (2003), Norton (2004), Woodward (2004), Norton and Pavlenko (2004), Ferreira (2006), Louro (2008), Ferreira and Ferreira (2011), among others.. Regarding to methodology, we followed a qualitative field research of ethnografic interviews were made and used questionnaires to students and students to understand the perceptions of the same on the didatic material used at the moment remembering that at the time this research the MEC (Ministry of Education) has not distributed the textbooks of English, then the materials were compiled by professors of disciplines.. The text production commands from a collection of textbooks Portuguese (6 to 9 years) were analyzed in order to verify the design of writing that guides the work with this practice in the classroom. Therefore, the study is guided in Applied Linguistics, in theoretical view of Geraldi (1996) and Fiad and Mayrink-Sabison (1994) and methodological of Sercundes (1997). The analysis and systematization of data allowed to highlight the writing concepts such as work, written as a result and writing as a consequence with nuances of gift, and in this article, the commands guided are presented in the latter, given the recurrence that was used in the activities. Thus, the results indicate that the commands of the collection, guided by the concept of writing as a consequence with the nuances of gift, promote dialogue between two predefined by Sercundes conceptions (1997) written as a gift and as a result, showing their overlapping for the realization of production activity. Moreover, the written are the result of activities carried out previously, at the same time that the student is asked to use their imagination, his gift of writing at the time of production, not setting actual production conditions written to students.

In this paper, we reflect on the reading concepts, since it is relevant to explain them, because they guide the development of reading comprehension activities, the use of texts in class and the analysis of some issues presented in textbooks. For organizational purposes, we classify the different theoretical lines that discuss the reading from the unilateral and multilateral perspectives of the information processing, which integrate three broad approaches: ascending, descending and interactive. We do not see them as completely exclusive, but as complementary in many ways to characterize the aspects that underlie the reading and comprehension process, if we consider the text, the reader, the production and reading context of the text.

In this article, we discuss the linguistic variation in the coding of relativity in the Portuguese language. The theory of Variation and Change (Labov, 1972) provided the basis for this study. We analyzed 40 texts of legal writing, which contained between 5 and 15 pages, selected by the following criteria: type of activity, age and gender of the lawyers. We obtained 64 pieces of information, of which 34.4% refers to the occurrence of non-standard relative clauses and 65.6% to the forms prescribed by the normative grammar. As aspects of linguistic basis, we controlled the syntactic function of the relative clause, its position in the sentence as well as the presence or absence of intervening material in the sentence. We noted that although the forms considered standard still remain in monitored writing, it is now possible to notice a significant frequency of forms that go against grammatical textbooks, what can point to a linguistic change in progress.
