Diplomityössä perehdyttiin toimitusketjun hallinnan ja johtamisen apuvälineenä käytettävään SCOR-malliin (Supply Chain Operations Refence-model). SCOR on standardimalli, josta jokaisen tulee poimia oman toiminnan kehittämisen ja tehostamisen kannalta tärkeät asiat. SCOR on hyvä instrumentti kasvun hallinnassa.Työn teoriaosa käsittelee logistiikkaa, toimitusketjun hallintaa, ostotoimintaa ja SCOR-mallia. Soveltavassa osassa käsitellään SCOR-mallin avulla sisäilma alalla toimivan yrityksen prosesseja. Työssä keskityttiin tarkastelemaan yrityksen ostotoiminta ja valmistusprosesseja SCOR-mallin avulla.SCOR-mallin käyttö oston ja tuotannon analysoinnissa toi esiin useita toiminnan kehitysajatuksia. Näitä olivat uusien menetelmien käyttöönotto varaston ja tuotannon hallittavuuden parantamiseksi, osto-organisaation selkiyttäminen ja toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän kehittäminen.

En el presente trabajo se pretende mostrar un estudio realizado a dos compañías colombianas, dicho estudio tiene como finalidad establecer aquellos procesos en los que el desempeño de las organizaciones es alto en cuanto al manejo de sus cadenas de suministro se refiere; para ello se ha realizado un análisis de datos resultantes del Balance General y Estado de Resultados de las empresas escogidas, mediante el uso del modelo SCOR® V.10. y de determinadas métricas del mismo. Con base en éstos resultados se espera llevar a cabo un BENCHMARKING con el fin de establecer cuáles son los procesos competitivos y aquellos débiles de cada una de las empresas, para que éstas puedan determinar en qué procesos deben mejorar y de esta forma aumentar su productividad. Este trabajo de grado, busca ser un punto de referencia para el medio empresarial colombiano y una herramienta útil a la hora de evaluar la forma en la que las organizaciones se están desarrollando, los procesos a mejorar y la manera en la que dichas reformas (en pro del desempeño superior de las compañías) pueden afectar el crecimiento empresarial.

In the last decade the complexity of the environment in which organizations are embedded increased dramatically, having on one side the increasingly demanding consumers in regard to the quality and value of the product and the other companies with the need to reduce operating costs in order to achieve greater profitability, without this there is a downturn in growth or market share powers. In this context the necessity of effectively structuring actions relating to the line with the operational work processes so that business objectives are achieved organizational strategic planning, ensuring the competitiveness of the organization. This study aims to analyze how you have made the management of the supply chain in a grocery retailer in the light of guidelines of Supply Chain Management by using the SCOR model. For realization of this study a survey was needed, classified according to their goals, exploratory and descriptive as to its procedure, document, field and case study. Thus, the processing of data will be qualitative merit, using the thematic categorical analysis of Bardin (1977). Thus, to obtain data interviews together the operational and strategic management of a company that was named Supermarket Omega were performed. After analyzing the information obtained is perceived that there is an effort of the organization enhance its management of the supply chain. However, there is a lack of alignment between the various areas that compose it. About their work processes, we stress that the focus of the company is still very directed on sailing than profitability, although it is undergoing a transformation in its organizational culture However, records the existence of many improvement projects in developing. Thus, it can be noticed that there is some consistency between the assumptions of the SCOR model and applied within the supply chain Omega Supermarket, although a greater effort to better align with the model still needs to be studied

Recommendation for Oxygen Measurements from Argo Floats: Implementation of In-Air-Measurement Routine to Assure Highest Long-term Accuracy As Argo has entered its second decade and chemical/biological sensor technology is improving constantly, the marine biogeochemistry community is starting to embrace the successful Argo float program. An augmentation of the global float observatory, however, has to follow rather stringent constraints regarding sensor characteristics as well as data processing and quality control routines. Owing to the fairly advanced state of oxygen sensor technology and the high scientific value of oceanic oxygen measurements (Gruber et al., 2010), an expansion of the Argo core mission to routine oxygen measurements is perhaps the most mature and promising candidate (Freeland et al., 2010). In this context, SCOR Working Group 142 “Quality Control Procedures for Oxygen and Other Biogeochemical Sensors on Floats and Gliders” (www.scor-int.org/SCOR_WGs_WG142.htm) set out in 2014 to assess the current status of biogeochemical sensor technology with particular emphasis on float-readiness, develop pre- and post-deployment quality control metrics and procedures for oxygen sensors, and to disseminate procedures widely to ensure rapid adoption in the community.

Diplomityön tavoitteena on analysoida ja kehittää palvelulupauskonseptia toimitusketjuun perustuen Halton Oy:ssä. Työ toteutettiin, koska asiakaslähtöinen liiketoimintatapa on voimakkaasti valtaamassa alaa tuote- ja tuotantopainotteiselta toimintatavalta. Tuotteiden erinomaisuus koetaan markkinoilla yhä useammin itsestään selvyytenä. Prosessien tehokas hallitseminen ja asiakkaan kokeman lisäarvon muodostaminen ovat muodostuneet ratkaisevimmaksi kilpailuedun luojaksi. Toimitusketjun hallinnalla ja sähköisellä kaupankäynnillä on tärkeä rooli tämän kilpailuedun muodostumisessa.Diplomityö käsittelee uuden palvelulupauskonseptin tarjoamia etuja Halton Oy:lle. Työssä pureudutaan toimitusketjun ja sähköisen kaupankäynnin integraatiomahdollisuuksiin. Tarkoituksena on selvittää parhaat mahdolliset kriteerit Haltonin palvelulupauskonseptilleja luoda menetelmät yrityksen materiaalivirtojen sekä uuden konseptin analysoinnille ja kehittämiselle jatkossa.

Työn tavoitteena oli selvittää SBU:n varastovaraosien logistinen prosessin tämänhetkinen tilanne verrattuna muihin ja sitä kautta oppia uusia tehokkaita tapoja hallita sitä sekä parantaa sen kilpailukykyä. Selvittäminen tapahtui benchmarkkaamalla SBU:n varastovaraosien logistinen prosessi kahteen sen kilpailijaan ja viiteen muuhun ei kilpailija yritykseen. Bechmarking -aineiston kerääminen tapahtui pääasiassa Inter netin, haastattelujen, bechmarking -kyselyn ja yritysvierailujen avulla. Tulosten vertailu ja analysointi perustui kerättyyn aineistoon. Kriteereiksi lopullista vertailua varten valittiin seikat, joihin liittyvä tieto oli saatavilta suurimmalta osalta bechmarking -yrityksistä. Tuloksena lopullisesta vertailusta muodostettiin "ranking" lista, jossa yritykset on laitettu paremmuus-järjestykseen. Tässä vertailussa SBU sijoittui viimeiseksi ja SBU varastovaraosien logistisessa prosessissa havaittiin olevan useita parannuskohteita. Joka tapauksessa SBU sai paljon tietoa siitä, kuinka muut yritykset hallitsevat prosessinsa ja kuinka SBU:n tulisi tulevaisuudessa hallita oma logistinen prosessinsa ja kuinka se voisi sitä kautta lisätä kilpailukykyään.
