Pontualmente, traz uma definição dos seguintes componentes: Mouse, Teclado, Hard Disk (HD), Placa de Vídeo, Placa de Rede, Placa de som e Memória Ram através da navegação interativa em salas destinadas a cada componente.

A presente investigação visa perceber como os alunos de três turmas de 4º ano, de duas escolas da Ilha da Madeira, experienciam o uso do computador em contexto escolar e se esse uso, à luz das novas teorias da aprendizagem, promove alguma inovação em termos pedagógicos. Por termos resolvido abordar o problema indo ao encontro do sentir dos alunos,focámo-nos nas suas representações e atitudes, para captarmos relacionamentos específicos na utilização das ferramentas de informação e comunicação, associadas ao computador e outros tipos de software didáctico/educativo. Tivemos como sustentáculo o ponto de vista segundo o qual as crianças de hoje estão modificadas, consequência da evolução tecnológica, por sua vez as pessoas sujeitas à acção educativa estão a mudar as suas práticas. Este é um estudo exploratório, no qual utilizámos uma metodologia do tipo descritivo, que se enquadra no paradigma interpretativo da investigação qualitativa, baseada numa análise de conteúdo temática. Recorremos à utilização de técnicas de natureza qualitativa aplicada (observação naturalista, observação participante, entrevista directiva e semi-directiva). Os resultados obtidos mostram que há aspectos de natureza pessoal (educação dos alunos) e contextuais (relativos à escola) associados a diferenças na utilização do computador. Destes destaca-se o contexto da escola, as suas condições materiais e humanas, o clima de trabalho e a dinamização de actividades apoiadas por computador por parte dos docentes, que limitam o seu uso pelos alunos, dificultando a inovação. Não obstante foi visível alguma ruptura com os paradigmas tradicionais: interacções frequentes, o professor lança os desafios, dá as ferramentas aos alunos, reconstrói a sua acção e proporciona ambientes que facilitam uma aprendizagem construtiva. Aos poucos foram-se afirmando os aspectos da aprendizagem com as tecnologias o que permite modelagens de aprendizagens novas e são um recurso relevante tanto do ponto de vista da clareza e substância da informação, como da motivação. Os sinais detectados levam-nos a afirmar que o processo de mudança se encontra em marcha, ainda que de forma lenta, devido a uma estrutura muito enraizada do sistema de ensino e os alunos ao transportarem para o quotidiano das escolas os procedimentos intuitivos inerentes às tecnologias são os agentes principais de pressão para essa mudança.Não acreditamos em soluções óptimas, mas o empenho de todos nós em melhorarmos o nosso conhecimento sobre a forma como se aprende, hoje em dia, com o advento do computador, ajudará a uma maior compreensão e articulação dos problemas existentes nas escolas. Facilitará, ainda, as adaptações curriculares a promover no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, com vista à adopção de práticas inovadoras que visem o uso da tecnologia de forma aliciante, desafiadora, eficaz e verdadeiramente educativa.

Num mundo em que as novas tecnologias abarcam todos os domínios da vida e provocam alterações na sociedade, estas reflectem-se inevitavelmente na escola exercendo pressão no sentido do acompanhamento, modernização e adaptação a esta nova realidade. A escola tem demonstrado dificuldades em se adaptar e em apresentar as transformações necessárias face a este novo cenário contemporâneo, insistindo na manutenção das práticas radicadas na sua origem paradigmática. Procurou dar resposta através da introdução das novas tecnologias, mas tal não significa induzir automaticamente novas formas de ensino ou de aprendizagem, apenas constitui um pequeno passo em direcção à mudança. Contrariando a ideia que a incorporação da tecnologia na educação, por si só, constitui inovação pedagógica, procuramos esclarecer, à luz do próprio conceito de inovação, de que forma a incorporação da tecnologia se processou, e se deverá ser considerada como inovação pedagógica. Assim, tendo como objectivo interpretar e descrever a cultura emergente na sala de aula num contexto de integração curricular das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação na Disciplina de Educação Visual, numa turma de uma escola básica do Funchal, empreendemos esta investigação com o intuito de compreender de que forma ela se aproxima ou afasta da ortodoxia vigente. Desenvolvemos um estudo com uma abordagem metodológica de natureza qualitativa, de cariz etnográfico, através da imersão no ambiente natural dos sujeitos, procurando relevar e confrontar subjectividades, atendendo às percepções dos intervenientes neste estudo. As conclusões deste estudo apontam para uma Inovação Pedagógica que se opera ao nível micro, na sala de aula, enquanto ruptura ao nível cultural, atendendo às culturas escolares tradicionais.

O processo de inserção do computador nas escolas públicas brasileiras decorre das políticas de Informática Educativa do Governo Federal, sendo o seu programa atual conhecido como Proinfo (Programa Nacional de Tecnologia Educacional). Esse programa tem, em seus objetivos principais, pretensões de que sejam criados ambientes de aprendizagem inovadores decorrentes da inserção do computador na educação e apresenta o Construcionismo como referencial teórico principal nas suas prescrições para a criação de tais ambientes. Uma Inovação Pedagógica seria uma ruptura com práticas educacionais tradicionais, possibilitando a criação de ambientes de aprendizagem novos, onde o foco não estaria mais na transmissão de saber por parte do professor e, sim, na construção ativa do conhecimento por parte dos alunos. Uma política educacional (como o Proinfo, por exemplo), inovações tecnológicas (como o computador) ou quaisquer outros fatores externos à escola podem até apoiar as rupturas necessárias a uma Inovação Pedagógica, mas esta não é algo intrínseco a tais fatores: a Inovação vem de dentro da escola, é algo construído em contexto pela ação local dos professores e alunos. Visto que o computador não traz em si nenhuma pedagogia, podendo ser usado tanto para reforçar pedagogias tradicionais quanto para potencializar uma Inovação Pedagógica e que esta não necessariamente decorrerá das prescrições presentes no Proinfo, o presente estudo objetivou analisar se as mudanças que aconteceram nas práticas pedagógicas do Ensino Fundamental I (2º. ao 5º. ano), após a inserção do computador em sala de aula, representam uma Inovação Pedagógica ou não, assumindo-se como referencial de Inovação Pedagógica o mesmo referencial presente nas prescrições do Proinfo, o Construcionismo. Foi realizada uma observação participante do cotidiano das aulas e do processo de inserção do computador, entrevistas com alunos e professores bem como uma análise documental das prescrições presentes nos livros do Proinfo.

The present study has as goal to analyze the aplicability of the computational technology as mediator in the english-speaking teaching in the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Rio Grande do Norte-CEFET/RN. The object of study was centered in the use of the computer incorporated in the teaching of English by four institution groups. The research was ruled metodologically in the study of case, adopting a qualitative and quantitative boarding of interpretative-reflexive mark. We support ourselves on a bibliographical literature revision that cares of the use of the computational technology matter into the class-room, aiming an education new practice, regarding the current reality conceptions in what we live in the technological education. We also use a referencial for a pedagogical action, trying to offer subsidies for a practice that provides the knowledges generation through the interaction, aiming a subject reflexive and critical education. For materialization of this study, we used esrutuctured action, as interviews for the teachers and students, besides the observations of the dayly in class-room, in order to get the necessary datas for analysis. During this study, we oserved that the use of the computer, while pedagogical support instrument in the english-speaking teaching, has acted like mediator of the teaching-learning process. The results demonstrate use of the computer use has been each more a practice adopted by other institution languages teachers. The conclusions confirm the hypothesis showed at the beginning of the work and evidence that the teachers are warden of forming thinking, reflexive and critical subjects. For that, they need to be prepared to face situations in which they can take the pedagogical practice to tune with the technological advances, consequently providing an effective technological education

It has been remarkable among the Science Teaching debates the necessity that students do not learn only theories, laws and concepts, but also develop skills which allows them to act towards a critical citizenship. Therefore, some of the skills for the natural sciences learning must be taught consciously, intentionally and in a planned way, as component of a basic competence. Studies of the last twenty years have shown that students and teachers have plenty of difficulties about skills development and, among several, the skill of interpreting Cartesian graphics, essential for the comprehension of Natural Science. In that sense, the development of that type of professional knowledge during the initial education of future Chemistry teachers has become strategic, not only because they need to know how to use it, but also because they need to know how to teach it. This research has as its general objective the organization, development and study of a process of formation of the skill of interpreting Cartesian graphics as part of the teachers professional knowledge. It has been accomplished through a formative experience with six undergraduate students of the Teaching Degree Course of Chemistry of Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte), in Brazil. In order to develop that skill, we have used as reference P. Ya. Galperin s Theory of the Stepwise Formation of Mental Actions and Concepts and its following qualitative indicators: action form, degree of generalization, degree of consciousness, degree of independence and degree of solidness. The research, in a qualitative approach, has prioritized as instruments of data collecting the registering of the activities of the undergraduate students, the observation, the questionnaire and the diagnosis tests. At the first moment, a teaching framework has been planned for the development of the skill of interpreting Cartesian graphics based on the presupposed conceptions and steps of Galperin s Theory. At the second moment, the referred framework has been applied and the process of the skill formation has been studied. The results have shown the possibility of develop the skill conscious about the invariant operation system, with a high degree of generalization and internalized the operational invariant in the mental plane. The students have attested the contributions at that type of formative experience. The research reveals the importance of going deeper about the teaching comprehension of the individualities tied to the process of internalization, according to Galperin s Theory, when the update of abilities as part of the teaching professional knowledge is the issue

This study investigates teacher training and cognitive practice of teachers in a Basic Education school that adopted the Project One Computer per Student (OCS) in their school routine. Its relevance consists in provide directions for the continuation of training activities on the Project and guide the teachers with their pedagogical practices using the laptop model one to one. The thesis defended is that the educator formation for social using of digital media (specially the laptops from the Project UCA) gives space to establish new sociotechnical relationships, of new social and professionals practices, new identitary components and a process of reflexivity and knowledge reconstruction to teach. We reaffirm the importance of reflexivity and appropriation of digital culture for the better development of teaching practice using the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), giving focus to the aspects of social and professional use of the technology. The study is part of the qualitative aspect and is a procedural tracking based on principles of ethnographic research. As procedures and methodological tools, were used: intensive observation of school environments, documental analysis, focal group, semi-structured questionnaires and semi-structured individual interviews. The research was held in a public school in the city of Parnamirim - RN. The subject sample relates to 17 teachers, coming from the elementary school I and II, Youth and Adult Education and High School, who went through the process of training UCA and having entered the laptops in their teaching. The research corpus is structured based on the messages built into the process of data collection and is analyzed based on principles of Content Analysis, specified by Laurence Bardin (2011). Was taken as theoretical reference studies by Tardif (2000; 2011), Pimenta (2009), Gorz (2004, 2005), Giddens (1991), Dewey, J. (1916), Boudieu (1994; 1999), Freire (1996; 2005), among others. The analysis indicates a process of reconstruction / revision of knowledge to teach and work in digital culture, being these knowledges guided by the experience of the subjects investigated. The reconstructed knowledges will be revealed from a categorization process. The following groups of knowledges: "technical knowledges", "didactic-methodological knowledges and knowledges of professionalization" were built on the assumption of ownership of digital culture in the educational context. The analysis confirms the appearance of new ways of sociability when acquiring other forms of acting and thinking ICTs, despite the environment adverse to the reflexivity shared among the teachers. Also reveals, based on the ownership concept present on the data analysis, the construction of meanings of belonging and transformation of individuals into social routes from the interweaving of the teaching practice with the digital culture. Emphasizes, finally, the importance of a training for use of ICTs that exceeds the instrumentation, in other words, what we call "technical knowledges", but taking on its structural basis the shared reflection, the opening for the ressignificance (new meaning) and reconstruction of new knowledges and practices and that really allows, to the teacher, the living of an experience capable of providing socio-technical transformations of their relationships

Currently great emphasis is given for seed metering that assist rigorous demands in relation to longitudinal distribution of seeds, as well as to the index of fails in spacing laws, breaks and double seeds. The evaluation of these variable demands much time and work of attainment of data and processing. The objective of this work went propose to use of graphs of normal probability, facilitating the treatment of the data and decreasing the time of processing. The evaluation methodology consists in the counting of broken seeds, fail spacing and double seeds through the measure of the spacing among seeds, preliminary experiments through combinations of treatments had been carried through whose factors of variation were the level of the reservoir of seeds, the leveling of the seed metering, the speed of displacement and dosage of seeds. The evaluation was carried through in two parts, first through preliminary experiments for elaboration of the graphs of normal probability and later in experiments with bigger sampling for evaluation of the influence of the factors most important. It was done the evaluation of seed metering of rotating internal ring, and the amount of necessary data for the evaluation was very decreased through of the graphs of normal probability that facilitated to prioritize only the significant factors. The dosage of seeds was factor that more important because factor (D) have greater significance.

The Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) have as main purpose to establish a communication path with the central nervous system (CNS) independently from the standard pathway (nervous, muscles), aiming to control a device. The main objective of the current research is to develop an off-line BCI that separates the different EEG patterns resulting from strictly mental tasks performed by an experimental subject, comparing the effectiveness of different signal-preprocessing approaches. We also tested different classification approaches: all versus all, one versus one and a hierarchic classification approach. No preprocessing techniques were found able to improve the system performance. Furthermore, the hierarchic approach proved to be capable to produce results above the expected by literature

This study describes about graduation s students difficulties of to draw functions graph. Specifically, we intend to observe their abilities evolution, as well as their difficulties during Calculus I subject in engineering course. For that, we show them publications about the elaboration of graphs and its difficulties in obstacle terms and some researches witch contain this subject and that it was done during postgraduate studies in mathematical education. It shows by research methodology aspects related to French didatic s mathematic and some theories of cognitive psychology considering the high value between theoretical-methodological relation that was evidenced in both theoretical conceptions about ways to understand and teach mathematic. This methodology is based on didactic engineering purpose, that consist in preliminaries analysis, conception and didactic sequence analysis prior, trials by application followed analysis up and conclusion. We had also used pedagogicals actions and analysis of results achieved, to classify types of errors made by the 2005 s students during second semester, from conceptions related to the episthemologic and didactics obstacles

The sleep is an active brain process that allows the efficient realization of daily tasks. The changes on sleep patterns may influence the different cognitive processes performance. Many recent studies show the possibility of cognitive performance improvement, through the cognitive training with the use of computer games. The question is if these interventions may be influenced by the sleep quality. Thus, we evaluated the sleep quality effect about the efficacy of an intervention with computers games based on the working memory and attention for a cognitive performance training of elementary school students. The sample was constituted by 42 students with average age of 10,43 years old (SD=1,23), with 22 male participants and 20 female participants. We used to evaluate the sleep with the parents a sleep questionnaire, a sleep diary and the Sleep Behavior Questionnaire. In regard to intervention, the subjectives were distributed in an experimental and in a control group, both with 21 participants. In the first group occurred the intervention that consisted in the working memory and attention training with two cognitive tasks (Safari e Brain Workshop) during 30 daily minutes, for a 6 weeks period. In an equal period, the students from the control group should reproduce an artwork using drawing software. To evaluate the cognitive performance we applied before and after the intervention period the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-III). The results showed that in both the groups the performance of the intelligence, working memory, attention and visuospatial skills was below of the mean. The cognitive processes evaluated after of intervention in the experimental group had a performance significantly higher in the Perceptual Reasoning Index (t = -6,24; p < 0,01) and in the Full Scale IQ (t = -5,09; p < 0,01) and Performance IQ (t = -6,52; p < 0,01), suggesting a improvement on the visuospatial skills, attention, working memory and processing speed. On the control group, the performance was significantly higher in the Coding subtest (t = -5,38; p< 0,01) and in the Perceptual Reasoning Index (t = -3,66; p = 0,01), suggesting a improvement on the visuospatial skills and attention. The mean obtained with the Sleep Behavior Questionnaire was 53,76 (SD=14,96) for an experimental group and 61,19 (SD=12,82) for a control group, indicating tendency for a bad sleep quality in that last one. Not only during the first days, but also in the last fifteen days of the intervention we verified in the two groups an adequate time to sleep, duration and regularity, in the weekdays and on the weekends. We didn t find significant differences between the two groups in none of the sleep variables. We verified statistically meaningful improvement on the performance of the experimental group with the intervention in the two games. We didn t verify significant correlations between the games performance index and in the sleep variables of the experimental group individuals. We verified significant correlations among the performance on the Brain Workshop and the Cubes subtest, the Perceptual Reasoning Index and the Scale Performance IQ, suggesting that the significant improvement of the visuospatial skills and of the attention was correlated with the performance in the Brain Workshop. Although the absence of correlations with the performance in the Safari, possibly it also has relieved in the improvement of the cognitive performance. The findings support the hypothesis that the computer games might be a satisfactory tool for the improvement of the performance in visuospatial skills and attention. This can be resulted of the insertion of visuospatial stimulations in the task, for example, graphical elements with thematic for children that increase the interest. The IQ below mean the individuals might have influenced the improvement absence on the cognitive processes like the working memory with games. Moreover, it wasn t verified a relation between the sleep quality and the intervention efficacy. It might have been influenced by the n of the sample. Future studies must focalize in the improvement of the effect of the interventions with games

Neste artigo são apresentados os principais resultados obtidos em uma atividade realizada para avaliar um software hipermídia destinado ao ensino e à aprendizagem da Física. Para a realização desta pesquisa, foi desenvolvido, aplicado e avaliado um sistema hipermídia para o ensino de Gravitação, com base nas pesquisas em ensino de Ciências. Foram considerados também os princípios fundamentais que caracterizam a hipermídia enquanto linguagem que permite o acesso não-linear à informação e a apresentação desta com a utilização dos recursos gráficos, sonoros, interativos e de animação do computador, e ainda suas implicações para as práticas de ensino. A maior parte dos professores e dos estudantes envolvidos na pesquisa avaliou positivamente o software quanto a seus aspectos técnicos, pedagógicos e motivacionais. O estudo forneceu evidências de que a hipermídia contribui para a aprendizagem de Física de modo motivador e significativo para os alunos do ensino médio.

O presente artigo discute estratégias utilizadas em um processo de formação continuada que se destina a promover a inserção da informática nas aulas de Química, organizado com base na racionalidade prática e na reflexão crítica sobre o trabalho docente. Esse processo envolveu professores de escolas estaduais localizadas na região de Jaú (SP) e utilizou a educação a distância como recurso para mediar os períodos entre os encontros presenciais. As estratégias selecionadas para discussão neste artigo, dentre as utilizadas no processo de formação, são: a elaboração de material didático e o desenvolvimento de aulas nas Salas Ambiente de Informática das escolas. Tais propostas se revelaram importantes por considerarem o professor como autor dos recursos didáticos para trabalho em sala de aula, e o contexto escolar como subsídio à própria ação de formação.
