Utiliza la obra de J. K. Rowlin, y a su personaje principal, Harry Potter para hablar de la educación en valores. Considera la obra como un modelo educativo para padres y alumnos. Puesto que hace referencia al paso de la infancia a la adolescencia, a la herencia del pasado y a la esperanza de futuro; a cómo conocernos a nosotros mismos y a cómo conocer al mundo; a la vida diaria, a la familia, al amor, a la amistad, al estudio, a alumnos y profesores, a la dureza de la vida, a la muerte, etc.

Cuarta novela de una serie de siete que componen el curriculum Filosofía para Niños, diseñada para proporcionar a los niños y jóvenes un pensamiento crítico, reflexivo y solidario. La novela presenta situaciones de la vida cotidiana de los niños en una escuela y su preocupación por descubrir el sentido de sus experiencias a través del diálogo entre ellos y entre ellos y los adultos. Destinada fundamentalmente a niños entre 11 y 14 años, esta novela tiene como objetivo que estos niños de 5õ de EGB a 1õ de BUP descubran los principios del razonamiento y que sepan aplicar esos principios a las situaciones cotidianas.

Publicación que contiene 17 cuadernillos de ejercicios basados en la novela El Descubrimiento de Harry, ordenados de forma secuencial y progresiva, y orientados a desarrollar las destrezas básicas cognitivas. En cada cuadernillo se recogen las ideas principales que aparecen en el capítulo correspondiente de la novela además de una introducción donde se indica al profesor cómo orientar la discusión.

Despite the fact that the Harry Potter books have won a place in the cultural consciousness and have had enjoyed immense commercial success, they were not accepted within many faith groups at the outset. Using the term ‘religion’ to refers to any system of belief that may be recognised by symbols , I look extracts from three of the novels, alongside their subsequent cinematic adaptations, in order to consider the construction of representations of religion in the films and the contribution made by the films to this debate.

The aim of this C-essay is to discuss the translation of some of the names in J.K. Rowling’s immensely popular Harry Potter books and look at how the translation agrees with and/or deviates from the original. Special focus is put on features such as alliterations, allusions and imaginative inventions, which are characteristic of J.K Rowling’s style and may be particularly tricky and challenging when translating.A comparison is made between the names in the original texts and the translated texts. The names are divided into different categories, such as names of characters, places etc. I argue that the translator uses different strategies when translating different types of names. Focus is on the Swedish translation, but Norwegian examples are included too.

The books about Harry Potter have been read by people all over the world, but is there some-thing more to them than just the magical adventure novels they first appear to be? Many have discovered the multiple layers of understanding that the author J. K. Rowling has put in her famous books, and since I was curious about a few features in the story that reminded me of certain elements which can be found in the Bible, I decided to find out more. The following essay investigates which specific features in the books about Harry Potter that can be traced to which specific parts of the Bible. The main focus is the comparison between the character Harry Potter and Jesus Christ. I use a comparative analyzing method and secure my theory with quotes from both Harry Potter and the Bible. In the end, I found a wide range of similarities between the two characters, and in my discus-sion, I raised the question whether or not the likenesses were intentional by Rowling. I reached the conclusion that the authors intention is not as important as the reader’s interpreta-tion and what they can learn from it.

Three dimensional exactly solvable quantum potentials for which an extra term of form 1/r(2) has been added are shown to maintain their functional form which allows the construction of the Hamiltonian hierarchy and the determination of the spectra of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions within the Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics formalism. For the specific cases of the harmonic oscillator and the Coulomb potentials, known as pseudo-harmonic oscillator and pseudo-Coulomb potentials, it is shown here that the inclusion of the new term corresponds to rescaling the angular momentum and it is responsible for maintaining their exact solvability.

We point out that a common feature of integrable hierarchies presenting soliton solutions is the existence of some special ''vacuum solutions'' such that the Lax operators evaluated on them, lie in some abelian subalgebra of the associated Kac-Moody algebra. The soliton solutions are constructed out of those ''vacuum solitons'' by the dressing transformation procedure.

An algebraic approach is employed to formulate N = 2 supersymmetry transformations in the context of integrable systems based on loop superalgebras sl(p + 1, p), p >= 1, with homogeneous gradation. We work with extended integrable hierarchies, which contain supersymmetric AKNS and Lund-Regge sectors. We derive the one-soliton solution for p = 1 which solves positive and negative evolution equations of the N = 2 supersyrnmetric model.

Toda lattice hierarchy and the associated matrix formulation of the 2M-boson KP hierarchies provide a framework for the Drinfeld-Sokolov reduction scheme realized through Hamiltonian action within the second KP Poisson bracket. By working with free currents, which Abelianize the second KP Hamiltonian structure, we are able to obtain a unified formalism for the reduced SL(M + 1, M - k) KdV hierarchies interpolating between the ordinary KP and KdV hierarchies. The corresponding Lax operators are given as superdeterminants of graded SL(M + 1, M - k) matrices in the diagonal gauge and we describe their bracket structure and field content. In particular, we provide explicit free field representations of the associated W(M, M - k) Poisson bracket algebras generalising the familiar nonlinear W-M+1 algebra. Discrete Backlund transformations for SL(M + 1, M - k) KdV are generated naturally from lattice translations in the underlying Toda-like hierarchy. As an application we demonstrate the equivalence of the two-matrix string model to the SL(M + 1, 1) KdV hierarchy.
