Notre objectif est d’habiliter la conception merleau-pontienne de la connaissance de soi. La difficulté consiste en ce que Merleau-Ponty fait reposer tout savoir sur un contexte perceptif que le sujet est par principe incapable d’appréhender dans sa totalité. La connaissance s’appuie ainsi sur un contexte comportant des zones d’ombre qui éludent la réflexion. Nous éclairons d’abord cette affirmation générale à partir de deux principes fondamentaux empruntés à la Gestalttheorie, dont le premier stipule que la donnée de base de la perception est une figure sur un fond et le second que nos structures mentales cherchent l’équilibre. Nous appliquons ensuite ces prémisses au problème spécifique de la connaissance de soi. Cette présentation nous permet de cibler deux obstacles à notre prétention : l’irréductibilité du sujet à ce qu’il donne à voir dans l’effort réflexif, ainsi que sa liberté fondamentale, contaminant la vérité de son caractère arbitraire. Finalement, nous montrons que ces deux obstacles ne sont qu’apparents, à condition toutefois de renoncer à une connaissance de soi absolue, et de ménager un espace entre le déterminisme et la liberté.

Comment faire évoluer sa pratique professionnelle? Notre proposition s'intéresse à l'activité des professeurs des écoles confrontés à la volonté de l’institution (IO 2008) de renforcer la place du récit dans l'enseignement de l'histoire à l’école aux dépens de la pédagogie du « tout document » (IO 2002). De plus, excepté le lapidaire « par l’usage du récit », aucune précision supplémentaire n'est apportée quant aux modalités. Aussi modifier sa pratique professionnelle est-il problématique lorsque les textes officiels sont aussi peu explicites quant au fond et à la forme

La Suite Vulgate, une œuvre d'orientation à la fois romanesque et historique, interroge la pertinence des constructions et catégories génériques dans la littérature médiévale. Afin de mieux cerner le statut de cette œuvre hybride, cet article explore les questions de l'écriture de l'histoire, la terminologie à travers laquelle l'œuvre s'auto-désigne, son rapport à la temporalité, et le mode de représentation de l'histoire que propose le texte.

O objetivo deste trabalho é primeiramente demonstrar como os personagens de L’Écume des jours vivem num mundo da primazia da individualidade e do instante presente em oposição ao mundo dos adultos, fundado na preocupação com o dia de amanhã e com os interesses coletivos. Em seguida, tentamos provar que a harmonia desse mundo em que evoluem nossos personagens é rompida pelo casamento do casal Colin/Chloé. E também desvelar em que medida os protagonistas – Colin e Chloé – aderem aos valores do mundo adulto através do casamento. Para tanto, utilizamos sobretudo a base teórica da obra de Georges Bataille: La Littérature et le mal. Nessa obra, o escritor, ensaísta e pensador francês afirma que a literatura, enquanto expressão da individualidade, representa uma transgressão da ordem estabelecida. Assim o que pôde ser equivocadamente considerado como mal, de fato, são apenas manifestações (ou tentativas) de trangressão. Bataille coloca do lado do bem as preocupações coletivas de acumulação de bens e de perpetuação da espécie, fundados na razão e no cálculo. Do outro lado, o do mal, o pensador coloca a criança que representa a fruição do momento presente, o lazer, fundados na paixão. Por outro lado, com a intenção de compreender melhor o tecido narrativo da obra L’Écume des jours, procedemos, antes dessa análise temática, a um estudo da organização da narrativa no qual examinamos pontos como o narrador, o tempo e o espaço, os personagens e a dinâmica da ação.

A CMOS/SOI circuit to decode Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) signals is presented as part of a body-implanted neurostimulator for visual prosthesis. Since encoded data is the sole input to the circuit, the decoding technique is based on a novel double-integration concept and does not require low-pass filtering. Non-overlapping control phases are internally derived from the incoming pulses and a fast-settling comparator ensures good discrimination accuracy in the megahertz range. The circuit was integrated on a 2 mum single-metal thin-film CMOS/SOI fabrication process and has an effective area of 2 mm(2). Measured resolution of encoding parameter a is better than 10% at 6 MHz and V-DD = 3.3 V. Idle-mode consumption is 340 LW. Pulses of frequencies up to 15 MHz and alpha = 10% can be discriminated for 2.3 V less than or equal to V-DD less than or equal to 3.3 V. Such an excellent immunity to V-DD deviations meets a design specification with respect to inherent coupling losses on transmitting data and power by means of a transcutaneous link.

Este estudo mostra como se conforma a religião em São Caetano de Odivelas-PA, a partir do elemento que lá é definido como cura, procurando entendê-la no âmbito das práticas xamânicas. Nessa compreensão, esta cura é o espaço em que se concretizam variadas relações que partem do curador para com o pesquisador; seus adeptos; os ajudantes, referidos como serventes; familiares e dos curadores para com o mundo sobrenatural. Estas relações foram o primeiro elemento, isto é, os vínculos pessoais e sobrenaturais, que têm origem no curador, que me chamaram a atenção. O modo de construí-los e sustentá-los acabam por funcionar como um aspecto que influencia os curadores a querer se diferenciar entre si, considerando especificamente os vários discursos que constroem para tal. Dentre estas alocuções parte do título do trabalho, e que é a fala constante dos curadores que convivi, ‘aqui, a cura é de verdade’ já procura expressar o caráter das diferenciações que estes agentes procuram manifestar.

A model for computing the generation-recombination noise due to traps within the semiconductor film of fully depleted silicon-on-insulator MOSFET transistors is presented. Dependence of the corner frequency of the Lorentzian spectra on the gate voltage is addressed in this paper, which is different to the constant behavior expected for bulk transistors. The shift in the corner frequency makes the characterization process easier. It helps to identify the energy position, capture cross sections, and densities of the traps. This characterization task is carried out considering noise measurements of two different candidate structures for single-transistor dynamic random access memory devices.

This thesis deals with two important research aspects concerning radio frequency (RF) microresonators and switches. First, a new approach for compact modeling and simulation of these devices is presented. Then, a combined process flow for their simultaneous fabrication on a SOI substrate is proposed. Compact models for microresonators and switches are extracted by applying mathematical model order reduction (MOR) to the devices finite element (FE) description in ANSYS c° . The behaviour of these devices includes forms of nonlinearities. However, an approximation in the creation of the FE model is introduced, which enables the use of linear model order reduction. Microresonators are modeled with the introduction of transducer elements, which allow for direct coupling of the electrical and mechanical domain. The coupled system element matrices are linearized around an operating point and reduced. The resulting macromodel is valid for small signal analysis around the bias point, such as harmonic pre-stressed analysis. This is extremely useful for characterizing the frequency response of resonators. Compact modelling of switches preserves the nonlinearity of the device behaviour. Nonlinear reduced order models are obtained by reducing the number of nonlinearities in the system and handling them as input to the system. In this way, the system can be reduced using linear MOR techniques and nonlinearities are introduced directly in the reduced order model. The reduction of the number of system nonlinearities implies the approximation of all distributed forces in the model with lumped forces. Both for microresonators and switches, a procedure for matrices extraction has been developed so that reduced order models include the effects of electrical and mechanical pre-stress. The extraction process is fast and can be done automatically from ANSYS binary files. The method has been applied for the simulation of several devices both at devices and circuit level. Simulation results have been compared with full model simulations, and, when available, experimental data. Reduced order models have proven to conserve the accuracy of finite element method and to give a good description of the overall device behaviour, despite the introduced approximations. In addition, simulation is very fast, both at device and circuit level. A combined process-flow for the integrated fabrication of microresonators and switches has been defined. For this purpose, two processes that are optimized for the independent fabrication of these devices are merged. The major advantage of this process is the possibility to create on-chip circuit blocks that include both microresonators and switches. An application is, for example, aswitched filter bank for wireless transceiver. The process for microresonators fabrication is characterized by the use of silicon on insulator (SOI) wafers and on a deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) step for the creation of the vibrating structures in single-crystal silicon and the use of a sacrificial oxide layer for the definition of resonator to electrode distance. The fabrication of switches is characterized by the use of two different conductive layers for the definition of the actuation electrodes and by the use of a photoresist as a sacrificial layer for the creation of the suspended structure. Both processes have a gold electroplating step, for the creation of the resonators electrodes, transmission lines and suspended structures. The combined process flow is designed such that it conserves the basic properties of the original processes. Neither the performance of the resonators nor the performance of the switches results affected by the simultaneous fabrication. Moreover, common fabrication steps are shared, which allows for cheaper and faster fabrication.
