This article aims at analyzing the dialogues between the publicity discourse from languages institutes, with their publicity focused on the disclosure of English language courses, established between the student (subject), potential interlocutor of these publicities, trying to understand the meaning effects which can be produced and circulate socially through these dialogues. In order to do that, this study takes into consideration the theoretical confluences between the Bakhtin Circle and the discourse theory from Michel Pêcheux, especially,  those which concern the notions of dialogue and senses produced in and by the publicity discourse from languages institutes.

More than understanding a speech, we need to decode it to then seek to understand how this discourse was made and what direction effects it produces. The Mentor of the Brazilians from Sao Joao del Rei - our object of study in this article - since its announcement in 1829, it was proposed to be like the newspaper's name itself shows, a Mentor, a newspaper to guide, advise women the inclusion in the political and moral life of the country, but without forgetting the family and their deveres. Para rationale of this study are taken as the essence of the studies Pêcheux and Eni Orlandi, the French Discourse Analysis (DA), trying to understand the speech of the mining journal in their production conditions in the nineteenth century. Understanding that social memory leads to a discursive memory that formulates the speeches already in place, giving rise to the social-historical context of ideological and enunciator statement. In addition, it is necessary to establish the role of the analyst in the process of understanding of the subject matter, because according to Orlandi (2008), the subject has his body tied to the body of the senses; subject and senses has its corporeality, made at the meeting of the materiality of language and history. In this perspective, enunciator and analyst embody the senses three cutouts of the weekly newsletter: a) the ad in the Astro de Minas newspaper talking about the first Mentor of the Brazilians women edition, b) the No. 1 edition and c) No.10 edition of the Mentor of the Brazilians women.

This paper aims at presenting an epistemological discussion of the literary fact in order to build a theoretical and conceptual understanding of how subjects and senses can be analysed in the discursive dynamic of the Literature aesthetic field. From the theoretical place of discourse analysis (DA), especially Pêcheux’s ideias in synchrony to dialogical polyphonic assumptions developped by Bakhtin Circle, and from literature concepts in Barthes, Blanchot and Foucault’s studies, it is its goal to put up a theoretical reflection on the dynamic of meaning and subject construction in the literary space as a way of a starting-support-reflective point that can help those who interests and seeks an analysis exercise of the literary by a discursive prism.

ABSTRACT From a broader project, this paper presents a synthesis of theoretical reflections and principles of basic practical procedures for teacher training, focusing on teaching and learning of reading and writing in High School in Brazil. We present a brief history of the academic production, after the redemocratization of the years 1980/90 and we comment some topics proposed by the public policies. We emphasize writing specificities as a technological instrument, decisive for reading and producing texts. Finally, we present two reading practices based on methodological procedures for the graphic treatment of texts. The goal is to put the reader in a position to understand the processes of text construction in the position of authorship. Such practices mobilize "game" senses that affect the reader in the relations of language with writing as a graphic interface and analytical instrument.   Keywords: Reading, Writing; High school.

This paper seeks to problematize the contradiction as constitutive sense of the language, from the studies developed by Ducrot (1987) and Bakhtin/Voloshinov (2006). We asked ourselves to what extent it would be possible to control the clarity of expression of ideas, and how you can delete any problem that risks a logical and coherent organization of saying. In the case of this work, we want to ask which place the contradiction takes on as well as the relation that it establishes with the coherence and incoherence. From the analysis of sustained statements in concepts of the Argumentation Theory and the Polyphony, from the authors mentioned before, it was possible to establish a contrastive relation between the two perspectives of analysis, bearing in mind the proposed question. What allowed us to say the discourse’s senses cannot be limited to the materiality of the language and a methodology of textual logic does not account for countless possibilities of organizing a text – it is necessary to involve other forms of analysis, in a study that takes advantage of the internal structures as contribution of external determinants than mean jointly.

This essay, starting from the description of the indigenous in the letter of discovery of Brazil of Pero Vaz de Caminha (1500), tries to define the clear tensions in the relationship between the first seafarers went to Brazil and the local population. It will be defined the relationship with the otherness, starting from the bodies, in their double function: they are at the same time filter (the eye of the colonizer) and filtered (the bodies of the colonized). It will be analyzed the way the sensorial perception can contribute to the construction of the representation of the world.  The description of the bodies and the perception of them, that the Portuguese writer will give though his own senses, will be the basis to observe the relation of the power and the tensions between colonizers and colonized, tensions that will persist in the future Brazilian society. Finally starting from the production of desire that this bodies excite and from the relationship between genders, will be speculated the function of sexuality in the society and the way the the power tries control it for its strengthness and establishment. The perception of the body will be also the reason to analyze the representation that the Portuguese writer will give of the otherness as being or as existing being.

In this study we deal with the relations of constitutive powers of the ways of production of the senses for a constitution of urbanity in the Jesuitical missions. The composition of grammar of aboriginal languages permitted the uniformity and the pattern. The urbanism organized the space according to social, political and economic demands. Repetition and sequential movement made up a perfect time. The conditions of production to urbanity were made of rigorous discipline that organized chaos.

The aim of this paper is to reflect on the functioning of sense production by the happening of enunciation. In order to do so, examples of the enumeration functioning were used. The analyses show how the production of senses does not necessarily happen by the production of unities, but constitute simultaneity, superposition and crossover phenomena; they also show that the enunciation happening, when producing sense, divides the sensible, on the basis of the political functioning of the enunciation process.
