Las rocas hipoabisales hercinianas y tardi-hercinianas del sector centro-oriental del sinclinal de Llavorsí (Pirineo Central)

Los materiales silricos, devnicos que constituyen el sinclinal de Llavors (Pirineo central) estn atravesados por dos grupos principales de rocas gneas hipoabisales. El primer grupo esta formado por rocas de composicin bsica e intermedis afectadas por un metamorfismo herciniano de grado muy bajo y forman parte, por tanto, de un episodio magmtico bsico anterior a las deformaciones principales hercinianas. Las transformaciones secundarias sufridas por estas rocas impiden deducir, apartir del estudio de 10s elementos mayores, su pertenencia a una serie ignea determinada si bien pueden distinguirse claramente dos asociaciones con distintas relaciones Mg/Fe. El segundo grupo, claramente postectnico, est constituido nicamente por rocas cidas (felsitas y prfidos granticos y granodioriticos), relacionadas aparentemente con el plutonismo calcoalcalino tardi-herciniano.

S"aporten algunes propostes d"autoregulació per una maneig"respectuós" de la informació i la confidencialitat i s"ofereixen exemples de bones pràctiques.

The biological family from the perspective of kinship fostered adolescents

Background: Previous studies emphasise the importance of the biological family to the welfare of fostered adolescents. However, the majority of these studies only take into consideration the viewpoints of the professionals, foster parents and biological parents not those of the adolescents themselves. For this reason little is known about the perceptions the adolescents have and the needs they express. Method: This study has gathered data from 57 adolescents in kinship family fostering in Spain (AFE). The study applied qualitative reseach, using focus groups to gather data and the Atlas.ti programme to analyse the data. The qualitative data give us a more profound understanding of how the fostered adolescents relate to their biological families. Results: The results highlight the specific needs of these adolescents a) an understanding of their family history b) the impact of visits from and relationship with their biological family and c) the relationship between the biological family and the foster family. Conclusions: These findings reveal implications to consider when creating support programmes aimed at this group.

A Cabrera l'extensió juràssica causà la ruptura de la plataforma liàsica i l'aprofundiment de la conca pelàgica durant el Dogger, el Malm i el Cretaci inferior. Conseqüència d'aquesta extensió en són: La discordança de la serie pelàgica sobre els materials de plataforma, la presència d'olistòlits i olistostromes a la part baixa de la sèrie pelàgica i un sistema de falles normals conjugades sincròniques de la sedimentació pelàgica.

La Comunidad de Aprendizaje Escuela de personas adultas La Verneda-Sant Martí, lleva más de 10 años trabajando las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación desde una perspectiva transversal y global. A través del trabajo que venimos realizando día a día, hemos visto como las TIC han pasado de ser una necesidad formativa a convertirse en un contexto de aprendizaje cotidiano entre las personas que participan de nuestro proyecto. Desde que en 1999 decidimos transformar nuestras actividades para integrarnos plenamente en la sociedad de la información hemos cambiado metodologías, prioridades y formas de trabajar. Mostrar cuáles han sido esas transformaciones y qué resultados son los que se han alcanzado es el principal reto del artículo.

La intervención socioeducativa encuentra en las actividades artísticas interesantes posibilidades para trabajar con una gran variedad de colectivos sociales. La colaboración interdisciplinaria entre distintas áreas y entre distintos profesionales, educadores, trabajadores sociales, arte-terapeutas, pedagogos y artistas da lugar a todo el mundo líneas de investigación y de proyectos de intervención socioeducativa con el arte y otras producciones culturales como protagonistas. Los profesionales de la intervención socioeducativa tienen herramientas valiosas para su trabajo.

Cost-effectiveness of a community pharmacist intervention in patients with depression: a randomized controlled trial (PRODEFAR study)

Background: Non-adherence to antidepressants generates higher costs for the treatment of depression. Little is known about the cost-effectiveness of pharmacist's interventions aimed at improving adherence to antidepressants. The study aimed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of a community pharmacist intervention in comparison with usual care in depressed patients initiating treatment with antidepressants in primary care. Methods: Patients were recruited by general practitioners and randomized to community pharmacist intervention (87) that received an educational intervention and usual care (92). Adherence to antidepressants, clinical symptoms, Quality-Adjusted Life-Years (QALYs), use of healthcare services and productivity losses were measured at baseline, 3 and 6 months. Results: There were no significant differences between groups in costs or effects. From a societal perspective, the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) for the community pharmacist intervention compared with usual care was 1,866 for extra adherent patient and 9,872 per extra QALY. In terms of remission of depressive symptoms, the usual care dominated the community pharmacist intervention. If willingness to pay (WTP) is 30,000 per extra adherent patient, remission of symptoms or QALYs, the probability of the community pharmacist intervention being cost-effective was 0.71, 0.46 and 0.75, respectively (societal perspective). From a healthcare perspective, the probability of the community pharmacist intervention being cost-effective in terms of adherence, QALYs and remission was of 0.71, 0.76 and 0.46, respectively, if WTP is 30,000. Conclusion: A brief community pharmacist intervention addressed to depressed patients initiating antidepressant treatment showed a probability of being cost-effective of 0.71 and 0.75 in terms of improvement of adherence and QALYs, respectively, when compared to usual care. Regular implementation of the community pharmacist intervention is not recommended.

Evaluation of a pharmacist intervention on patients initiating pharmacological treatment for depression: a randomized controlled superiority trial

Major depression is associated with high burden, disability and costs. Non-adherence limits the effectiveness of antidepressants. Community pharmacists (CP) are in a privileged position to help patients cope with antidepressant treatment. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of a CP intervention on primary care patients who had initiated antidepressant treatment. Newly diagnosed primary care patients were randomised to usual care (UC) (92) or pharmacist intervention (87). Patients were followed up at 6 months and evaluated three times (Baseline, and at 3 and 6 months). Outcome measurements included clinical severity of depression (PHQ-9), health-related quality of life (HRQOL) (Euroqol-5D) and satisfaction with pharmacy care. Adherence was continuously registered from the computerised pharmacy records. Non-adherence was defined as refilling less than 80% of doses or having a medication-free gap of more than 1 month. Patients in the intervention group were more likely to remain adherent at 3 and 6 months follow-up but the difference was not statistically significant. Patients in the intervention group showed greater statistically significant improvement in HRQOL compared with UC patients both in the main analysis and PP analyses. No statistically significant differences were observed in clinical symptoms or satisfaction with the pharmacy service. The results of our study indicate that a brief intervention in community pharmacies does not improve depressed patients' adherence or clinical symptoms. This intervention helped patients to improve their HRQOL, which is an overall measure of patient status.

Integración de redacciones en los medios locales y comarcales catalanes

Se ofrecen los resultados obtenidos del análisis de la organización de las redacciones de los medios de proximidad catalanes en el marco de la convergencia periodística. Los datos se han obtenido a partir de una encuesta distribuida entre los 123 medios que forman parte de la Associació Catalana de la Premsa Comarcal (ACPC), con un índice de respuesta del 45%, y de 19 entrevistas en profundidad mantenidas con periodistas y directivos de 8 grupos de comunicación. Las empresas fueron seleccionadas según criterios de distribución geográfica, diversidad mediática, periodicidad y tirada.Se observa cómo la convergencia periodística no supone necesariamente la integración de redacciones, aunque habitualmente sí que se desarrolla alguna forma de producción integrada. Las fórmulas desarrolladas son diversas, con distintos niveles de integración.

Prevalence of Ischemic Heart Disease and Management of Coronary Risk in Daily Clinical Practice: Results from a Mediterranean Cohort of HIV-Infected Patients

There are conflicting data on the prevalence of coronary events and the quality of the management of modifiable cardiovascular risk factors (CVRF) inHIV-infected patients. Methods.We performed a retrospective descriptive study to determine the prevalence of coronary events and to evaluate the management of CVRF in a Mediterranean cohort of 3760 HIV-1-infected patients from April 1983 through June 2011. Results.We identified 81 patients with a history of a coronary event (prevalence 2.15%); 83% of them suffered an acute myocardial infarction. At the time of the coronary event, CVRF were highly prevalent (60.5% hypertension, 48% dyslipidemia, and 16% diabetes mellitus).OtherCVRF, such as smoking, hypertension, lack of exercise, and body mass index, were not routinely assessed. After the coronary event, a significant decrease in total cholesterol ( � = 0.025) and LDLcholesterol ( � = 0.004) was observed. However, the percentage of patients whomaintained LDL-cholesterol > 100mg/dL remained stable (from 46% to 41%, � = 0.103). Patients using protease inhibitors associated with a favorable lipid profile increased over time ( � = 0.028). Conclusions.The prevalence of coronary events in our cohort is low. CVRF prevalence is high and theirmanagement is far from optimal. More aggressive interventions should be implemented to diminish cardiovascular risk in HIV-infected patients.
