La diversidad en los procesos educativos: bases para una propuesta conceptual

The main thesis of this work is that what makes problematic the diversity concept approach are the consequences that we derive from its recognition. And this recognition comes from pedagogy. After examining, briefly, the importance of the idea of diversity in the main traditions of the social philosophy, the author proposes the conceptual bases that, from these ideological readings must direct the pedagogical boarding of the concept.

ACREDITACIÓN DE LA BIBLIOTECOLOGÍA Y DOCUMENTACIÓN EN COSTA RICA ESCUELA DE BIBLIOTECOLOGÍA, DOCUMENTACIÓN E INFORMACIÓN, UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL

Esta investigación pretende aportar una idea de la dimensión y de la estructura formal de la carrera, desde una mirada intrínseca y extrínseca que facilita la identificación de los obstáculos, la planeación y la propuesta de alternativas de mejoramiento basadas en resultados científicos.Este informe presenta la metodología utilizada en los procesos de autoevaluación y acreditación para conocer la perspectiva de los informantes acerca de las actividades académicas, los resultados del análisis de la sistematización de la información recopilada, la experiencia obtenida a lo largo de los cuatro años acreditados en la Escuela de Bibliotecología, Documentación e Información y las lecciones aprendidas en el proceso; considerando como base las directrices del ente acreditador, el Sistema Nacional de Acreditación de la Educación Superior (SINAES).Este ejercicio puede utilizarse como un manual de prácticas para garantizar procesos educativos de calidad, como metodología para dar seguimiento a las actividades que deben realizarse en los procesos de acreditación de carreras universitarias y como insumo para definir aspectos de la evaluación del currículum.

Una reflexión necesaria: posibilidad de la construcción de un modelo pedagógico en la educación superior

The current article presents a series of considerations regarding the significance of establishing a pedagogic model in University level education, as well as its main characteristics, this with the purpose of guiding educational processes towards new and critical perspectives. Program in Rural Education” is presented to the national and international community as a high level graduate program, whose purpose is to improve the quality of formal and informal educational processes within the area through an innovative pedagogical model that includes itinerancy along the isthmus, as well as in site and distance learning with a virtual component. Furthermore, this program bases its practice on the development of a flexible model, on inclusiveness and also on a differentiated methodological and evaluative proposal that recovers the knowledge produced in every country around de issue of rural education.

El abuso sexual a niñas, niños y adolescentes: un secreto familiar, un problema familiar, un problema social

This investigation has the purpose of identifying how to prevent through educational processes, and then eradicate, the sexual abuse against children and adolescents in rural communities from Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The premise is that sexual abuse cannot be approached in an isolated way; it requires integral and committed actions of the institutions in charge of children and adolescents’ integral protection and development. This implies considering: the legal framework, the response offered by government and private organizations towards the prevention and attention of rights as well as their actions to penalize and restore the violated rights; the role of families as main responsible of the well being of their children and the role of children and adolescents.

Las Tecnologías de información y comunicación (TICs) como respuesta a necesidades educativas del medio rural

The article must like intention reflect, from a critical perspective, on the use of the technologies of the information and the communications (TIC) in the rural education, under the assumption that these resources are not in themselves solutions to problems, but that can allow to obtain solutions to concrete problems, in the scope of the rural education. For it, an analysis becomes from different edges.

La participación en el aula escolar rural: un reto para la transformación

This work analyses the participation as a way to exert the right to education, as a mean to democratize the learning process and as a channel to achieve pertinence in the educational process. It assumes that parents, students and other members of the community have to be near the school and the classroom not only to collaborate with the tasks traditionally assigned to them but also to develop a new way of participation that involves a construction process of the learning process. To achieve this purpose, the authors enunciate different strategies, useful to the get school and community together.

La educación mediada por el mundo. Pistas para la promoción de prácticas educativas descolonizadoras

The educational processes are seen in this paper as “places” of colonization and freedom. Thus, the educational goals that have been assigned to education would condition the liberating possibilities of the teaching processes. As a result, the author suggests –from the interculturality paradigm– a series of keys for constructing both decolonized and decolonizing educational mediations.

Educación sexual: Orientadores y orientadoras desde el modelo biográfico y profesional

Recibido 15 de marzo de 2012 •  Corregido 21 de octubre de 2012 • Aceptado 07 de noviembre de 2012 El presente documento plantea la necesidad de que la sociedad contemporánea posea mayores y mejores conocimientos sobre sexualidad, con miras a una vivencia efectiva de esta dentro de un marco de respeto a la biografía sexual del ser humano y fundamentados en la ética relacional. Para ello se apuesta por una educación sexual integral, democrática, tolerante y abierta, dentro de los procesos educativos a lo largo de todas las etapas evolutivas del ser humano. Uno de los sectores profesionales llamados a desarrollar este tipo de educación es el colectivo de orientadores y orientadoras. Para dicha acción, requieren conocer cuáles fueron los modelos o formas de abordaje con los que se educaron y que han marcado su hacer en dicha temática. Esto permitirá que la persona profesional en orientación se dé a la tarea de evaluar, fortalecer o aprender nuevas competencias en el campo personal, actitudinal, conceptual y en cuanto a la visión sobre la diversidad de las personas con quienes trabaja; así como en el campo procedimental, las estrategias y técnicas de intervención orientadora en sexualidad, que incidan en su labor profesional.
