A new 2-D quality-guided phase-unwrapping algorithm, based on the placement of the branch cuts, is presented. Its framework consists of branch cut placing guided by an original quality map and reliability ordering performed on a final quality map. To improve the noise immunity of the new algorithm, a new quality map, which is used as the original quality map to guide the placement of the branch cuts, is proposed. After a complete description of the algorithm and the quality map, several wrapped images are used to examine the effectiveness of the algorithm. Computer simulation and experimental results make it clear that the proposed algorithm works effectively even when a wrapped phase map contains error sources, such as phase discontinuities, noise, and undersampling. 二维相位展开方法是近年来较为活跃、引起关注的一个研究课题,它在许多测量应用中有着重要的作用。尽管掩膜阻断算法在多个领域都有成功应用实例,该算法存在着固有的缺陷。为了克服掩膜阻断算法的缺陷,综合分支阻断方法和质量导引方法的优点,提出一种基于分支设置的质量导引相位展开新算法。它先以一个初始质量图来引导分支的设置,然后把分支对应的相位质量设置为最低,从而产生一个新的质量图,最后按新质量图来引导相位展开,并使用几个包裹相位图来验证此方法的有效性。计算机模拟相位图和实际相位图的相位展开结果表明,在存在复杂轮廓不连续

In this paper, we propose a novel method for measuring the coma aberrations of lithographic projection optics based on relative image displacements at multiple illumination settings. The measurement accuracy of coma can be improved because the phase-shifting gratings are more sensitive to the aberrations than the binary gratings used in the TAMIS technique, and the impact of distortion on displacements of aerial image can be eliminated when the relative image displacements are measured. The PROLITH simulation results show that, the measurement accuracy of coma increases by more than 25% under conventional illumination, and the measurement accuracy of primary coma increases by more than 20% under annular illumination, compared with the TAMIS technique. Among different phase unwrapping approaches, the weighted least-squares minimization methods are gaining attention. In these algorithms, weighting coefficient is generated from a quality map. The intrinsic drawbacks of existing quality maps constrain the application of these algorithms. They often fail to handle wrapped phase data contains error sources, such as phase discontinuities, noise and undersampling. In order to deal with those intractable wrapped phase data, a new weighted least-squares phase unwrapping algorithm based on derivative variance correlation map is proposed. In the algorithm, derivative variance correlation map, a novel quality map, can truly reflect wrapped phase quality, ensuring a more reliable unwrapped result. The definition of the derivative variance correlation map and the principle of the proposed algorithm are present in detail. The performance of the new algorithm has been tested by use of a simulated spherical surface wrapped data and an experimental interferometric synthetic aperture radar (IFSAR) wrapped data. Computer simulation and experimental results have verified that the proposed algorithm can work effectively even when a wrapped phase map contains intractable error sources. (c) 2006 Elsevier GmbH. Hexagonal array is a basic structure widely exists in nature and adopted by optoclectronic device. A phase plate based on the fractional Talbot effect that converts a single expanded laser beam into a regular hexagonal array of uniformly illuminated apertures with virtually 100% efficiency is presented. The uniform hexagonal array illumination with a fill factor of 1/12 is demonstrated by the computer simulation. (C) 2006 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.

提出一种步进扫描投影光刻机承片台不平度检测新技术。在晶圆与承片台存在不同偏移量时,利用线性差分传感器在线测量晶圆上不同点的局部高度;通过建立临时边界条件,以递推法消除晶圆面形影响,并逐行计算出承片台的相对不平度;通过逐行计算的结果递推相邻行之间的高度差,并将该高度差叠加到每一行,以消除临时边界条件的限制,得到处于同一高度上的承片台不平度;将计算的结果作为初始值,根据最小二乘原理,以邻近的四个测量点作为参考,逐步逼近得到承片台的真实不平度。计算机仿真结果验证了该检测方法的正确性,计算结果逐步收敛并逼近真实值

The measurement accuracy of a parallel-plate interferometer for angular displacement measurement is analyzed. The measurement accuracy of angular displacement is not only related to the accuracy of phase extraction, but also related to initial incident angle, refraction index and thickness of plane-parallel plate as well as wavelength's stability of laser diode, etc. Theoretical analysis and computer simulation show that the measurement error of the angular displacement bears a minimum value when choosing an optimal initial incident angle in a large range. These analytical results serve as a guide in practical measurement. In this interferometer, reducing the refraction index or increasing the thickness of the parallel plate can improve the measurement accuracy; and the relative error of the phase measurement is 3.0 x 10(-4) corresponding to 1 degrees C temperature variation. Based on these theoretical and experimental results, the measurement accuracy of the parallel-plate interferometer is up to an order of 10(-8) rad. (c) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

引入角度偏差、位移偏差作为拼接光栅系统的物理参数,定义了拼接光栅的孔径函数,利用傅里叶角谱理论研究了高斯脉冲入射拼接光栅压缩器后的远场分布特性。研究表明;出射脉冲仍然是高斯型脉冲,但包络中心发生偏移,偏移量由角度偏差量和光束口径决定;位移偏差引入的相位随着拼接光栅压缩器传递,其对远场焦斑的影响,取决于每片子光栅的非整数倍光栅常数的横向位移偏差和纵向位移偏差的综合作用。通过数值计算得到了各维偏差对阵列光栅压缩器空域特性的影响,计算表明:光栅面外角度偏差(俯仰左右)和条纹平行度偏差都必须控制在1μrad以内,

详细分析了蓝绿激光穿过大气海洋信道的信道效应和物理特性,利用理论分析和蒙特卡罗模拟方法完成对光信道仿真。介绍了大气海洋激光通信蒙特卡罗模拟方法及计算步骤。研究了不同厚度云层对光束投影面积的展宽,和光脉冲穿过不同深度海水后的空间分布和时域信号波形,讨论了其不同的展宽机理,并对信道的噪声分布进行了分析。发现云层对光脉冲展宽作用在云层厚度500 m时达到饱和,信号能量的随机起伏随海水深度的增加而增大,但能量分布的半峰全宽并不增加,大气海洋的综合信道效应可以用时延滤波器进行建模。

全面对采用空间分集技术和时域Rake接收机分集的带限空间光通信系统的原理进行了模拟和分析,首次在空间激光通信领域提出了综合了分集接收和均衡技术的联合信道均衡器方法,通过计算机仿真分析,研究了不同空间分集方法在非相关空间光开关键控信号下的误比特率,在不同符号间干扰条件下采用rake接收时的误比特率,以及在不同信噪比和不同信道数时采用联合分集均衡的误码率。研究的结果确认联合分集均衡方法能够明显的提高空间光通信系统的性能。

采用计算模拟的方法.研究了光栅式扫描预处理的扫描方式以及脉冲能量波动、定位误差对预处理效率的影响。研究发现。脉冲能量波动及其定位误差使预处理效率降低,同时其影响与扫描方式之间存在相互调制作用.因此可以通过选择合适的扫描方式以及扫描间隔来优化预处理流程,提高预处理效率。此外发现,光斑呈等边三角形排列时的预处理效率优于正方形。

We present a new way to meet the amount of strain relaxation in an InGaN quantum well layer grown on relaxed GaN by calculating and measuring its internal field. With perturbation theory, we also calculate the transition energy of InGaN/GaN SQWs as affected by internal fields. The newly reported experimental data by Graham et al. fit our calculations well on the assumption that the InGaN well layer suffered a 20% strain relaxation, we discuss the differences between our calculated results and the experimental data. Our calculation suggests that with the increase of indium mole fraction in the InGaN/GaN quantum well, the effect of polarization fields on the luminescence of the quantum well will increase. Moreover, our calculation also suggests that an increase in the quantum well width by only one monolayer can result in a large reduction in the transition energy. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. The band structures of wurtzite ZnO are calculated using the empirical pseudopotential method (EPM). The 8 parameters of the Zn and O atom pesudopotential form factors with Schluter's formula are obtained. The effective mass parameters are extracted by using k.p Hamiltonian to fit the EPM results. The calculated band edge energies (E-g, E-A, E-B, and E-C) at Gamma point are in good agreement with experimental results. The ordering of ZnO at the top of valence band is found to be A(Gamma(7))-B(Gamma(9))-C(Gamma(7)) due to a negative spin-orbit (SO) splitting. Based on the band parameters obtained, the valence hole subbands of wurzite ZnO/MgxZn1-xO tensile-strained quantum wells (QWs) with different well widths and Mg compositions are calculated using 6-band k.p method. Argon gas, as a protective environment and carrier of latent heat, has an important effect on the temperature distribution in crystals and melts. Numeric simulation is a potent tool for solving engineering problems. In this paper, the relationship between argon gas flow and oxygen concentration in silicon crystals was studied systematically. A flowing stream of argon gas is described by numeric simulation for the first time. Therefore, the results of experiments can be explained, and the optimum argon flow with the lowest oxygen concentration can be achieved. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

Based on morphology observed by atomic force microscopy, a geometrical model was proposed in order to explain the statistical results obtained from morphology observation on GaN in initial growth stage. Four parameters were introduced to describe the morphology characteristics in this model. Least-square fitting of height distribution was performed. The height distribution derived from the model agreed well with that obtained from experimental records. It was also found that the model should be further advanced to understand the growth of GaN in initial growth stage. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science BY. All rights reserved.
