The thesis intends to discuss the ethics by the way of love. So, it uses as a mention the musical work and the set of attitudes of the group that changed the way of thinking across the 20th Century mass-comm, entering a new way of thinking about the World: The Beatles. Analyzing the lyrics and the writing of the songs was searched the comprehension of he intrinsic love message at the Ethics it expresses. At the musical art of The Beatles political messages had been announced in a time that the World sought a Ethic way beyond the several declared war and the Cold War. Taking the Edgar Morin works as a base, O método 6, Ética (2005), it sought to understand the idea who permeates the human relations: the good, the possible, the necessary. Another works used as a cognitive base were Meus demônios (2003), Cultura de massas no Século XX: neurose (2005), Cultura de massas no Século XX (2006), The Beatles Anthology (2000) and Many years from now (2000). Holding the Ethics idea showed by Morin were established imaginary lines that perpass the behavior of the group known in the entire World understood till nowadays as tolerance, comprehension, peace, love and endurance messengers. The Beatles operate during the sixties a musical reborn, which allowed to the people the discussion and the reflexion about the World and the human being new behavior,endurance but acting with tolerance. Permeating the basic study, we find the Beatles way, the group origin, the fast walk till success, the spiritual choice, who guide their behavior and the end of the band. The music used as a masscomp instrument passes by the condition of a simple way of communicating. It deeply action feeds feelings, allows transcendence and is showed as target of human being transformation. The Ethics in music passes by the ideological barriers and becomes to comprehension with a clear synthony for the man, cause the polyphony and the new musical order establish the messages worldwide

This paper explores how audio chord estimation could improve if information about chord boundaries or beat onsets is revealed by an oracle. Chord estimation at the frame level is compared with three simulations, each using an oracle of increasing powers. The beat and chord segments revealed by an oracle are used to compute a chord ranking at the segment level, and to compute the cumulative probability of finding the correct chord among the top ranked chords. Oracle results on two different audio datasets demonstrate the substantial potential of segment versus frame approaches for chord audio estimation. This paper also provides a comparison of the oracle results on the Beatles dataset, the standard dataset in this area, with the new Billboard Hot 100 chord dataset.

El proyecto propone la introducción y utilización de tecnologías audiovisuales en el área de Inglés mediante la organización de actividades de comunicación y simulación relacionadas con el entorno cultural y los intereses del alumnado. Los objetivos son: capacitar al alumnado para expresarse con fluidez y corrección en inglés; desarrollar la sensibilidad artística; fomentar el trabajo en equipo; introducir al alumnado en el conocimiento de las nuevas tecnologías, sobre todo el vídeo; potenciar la creatividad; y favorecer el uso del inglés escrito y oral en contextos comunicativos. La experiencia, que se centra en el desarrollo del programa de la asignatura para cada nivel, consiste por una parte en un acercamiento a los medios audiovisuales y al lenguaje visual (conceptos técnicos y aspectos lingüísticos y gramaticales basados en sencillas simulaciones); y por otra, en la organización de pequeños grupos que eligen un tema sobre el que recopilan información gráfica y bibliográfica para la posterior elaboración de un trabajo y un vídeo de apoyo. Al final cada grupo presenta su trabajo al resto de la clase, somentiéndose a un proceso de evaluación por parte de sus compañeros y de autoevaluación. La valoración es muy satisfactoria, debido al alto grado de adecuación entre proyecto y memoria y, a la gran ayuda prestada por el equipo directivo. Se adjuntan los trabajos realizados en clase: The Beatles, Dracula, The Silence of the Lambs, The Olympiads, The First Twenty, Cinderella, etc..

Esta guía está dirigida a profesores de Educación Secundaria. Se trata del resultado del trabajo realizado por la Universidad de Alcalá y Electronic Artrs durante el curso 2008-2009. En el estudio, los alumnos del IES Manuel de Falla de Coslada (Madrid) abordaron materias como biología, filosofía, música, lengua española o idiomas a través de videojuegos como FIFA 10, Spore, Los Sims 3 o The Beatles Rockband. Estos y otros juegos se aplicaron a cada asignatura según el tipo de aprendizaje para el que es adecuado. El resultado pone de manifiesto que el uso de los videojuegos en las aulas entre otras cosas, hace más atractivo el aprendizaje y potencia la motivación e integración del alumnado, contribuye a desarrollar habilidades de resolución de problemas y a utilizar estrategias de pensamiento similares a las que ponen en práctica los profesionales de distintos ámbitos y ayudan a contar historias y a comprender su estructura y facilitan la labor del profesorado.
