A percepção do consumidor do valor da marca : O caso TAP Portugal

Neste trabalho de investigação pretende-se responder à questão: qual a importância da percepção do consumidor do valor da marca TAP PORTUGAL? Para atingir os objectivos da investigação realizou-se um estudo de caso, tendo-se elaborado entrevistas junto de responsáveis pela área do marketing da companhia aérea nacional e procedeu-se à recolha de informação (publicações TAP, ANA¬ AEROPORTOS, entre outras; e, aplicou-se um questionário junto dos passageiros TAP. PORTUGAL no Aeroporto Internacional de Lisboa) de modo a se poder estudar o caso aprofundadamente. Os resultados da investigação indicam que a análise da nova imagem TAP PORTUGAL por parte dos passageiros é, de um modo geral, muito positiva, estando alinhados com os objectivos definidos no rebranding levado a cabo em 2005. A presente investigação contribui para sistematizar e clarificar as percepções dos consumidores do valor da marca TAP PORTUGAL, bem como retirar algumas ilações comparativas sobre os objectivos propostos e implementados na operação de rebranding com as percepções que os seus clientes têm desta nova imagem, contribuindo para uma melhor estratégia de gestão da marca. ABSTRACT; The present research seeks to answer the question: What is the importance of consumers' perception for the brand equity of TAP PORTUGAL? To achieve the objectives of the research a case study of methodology was done, having prepared interviews with the responsible for the marketing area of the Portuguese Airline, and proceeded to gather information (TAP, ANA-AEROPORTOS publications, among others; and, have applied a questionnaire to the TAP PORTUGAL passengers who made the check-in in the International Airport of Lisbon) to make a profound study of the case. Research results indicate that the new image analysis of TAP PORTUGAL from passengers, is generally very positive, and aligned with the objectives outlined in rebranding carried out in 2005. This research contributes to systematize and clarify the consumer's perceptions for the brand equity of TAP PORTUGAL, and draw some comparative conclusions on the objectives proposed and implemented in the rebranding operation with the customers’ perception that have the new image, contributing to improve the brand management strategy. El presente documento ofrece un estudio del perfil logístico de Portugal, abarcando diferentes aspectos que afectan la competitividad y el desempeño de la cadena logística de un país, con la finalidad de conocer a uno de los socios comerciales con los cuáles Colombia se encuentra negociando, en este caso Portugal, uno de los 28 países que hace parte del reciente tratado de libre comercio aprobado con la Unión Europea, es preciso estudiar las ventajas competitivas que poseen dichos socios, a las cuales el país se enfrenta en un mundo globalizado. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo se determinaron a partir de un análisis competitivo del país; las principales ciudades y puertos; logrando establecer un completo panorama de la situación logística en Portugal.

A importância da regulação vigente para a obtenção de faixas horárias/Slots aeroportuários - caso de Portugal

Este trabalho discute a liberalização do transporte aéreo no mercado Europeu, o sucesso do tráfego aéreo, e a importância da regulação de slots aeroportuários para uma concorrência leal. Presentemente, dado o crescimento e a expectativa que o tráfego aéreo cresça ainda mais, os aeroportos e as companhias aéreas debatem-se com um problema de grande dimensão, que passa pela gestão aeroportuária de slots, uma vez que a capacidade dos aeroportos é limitada, e a procura por estas estruturas tem aumentado drasticamente. Face aos vários aeroportos Europeus, estima-se que essa capacidade seja atingida brevemente, fazendo com que a congestão não se dê só apenas por um curto período diário, mas que aumente não só a sua frequência como também a sua duração. Esta congestão pode ter efeitos sobre a concorrência entre as companhias e entre os aeroportos, o que implica que haja um impacto negativo, tanto no ambiente como na segurança. O estudo terá em atenção a capacidade do Aeroporto de Lisboa, ao pedido de slots aeroportuários, a legislação nacional e internacional, outros meios de afectação de slots aeroportuários, a posição da TAP relativamente à regulamentação existente, e aos meios paralelos.

"Portugal Vale A Pena" Un ritratto senza tempo del portogallo attraverso il prisma dei giornalisti

This dissertation aims at enhancing the cultural and linguistic skills in Portuguese of the author of this work, as it is a third language. This activity is carried out starting from the analysis and research of topics mentioned in a number of texts within a particular literary work, “Portugal Vale A Pena”. In this work, many Portuguese personalities express their vision on their country and state why Portugal matters. Since these texts have many cultural references, it can be assumed that such work of analysis and research can lead to better linguistic skills as well as a greater knowledge of the Portuguese culture. All of the chosen texts were originally written by journalists. This choice originates from the important service these professionals provide to the public as well as from the special role their work has played in my interpreting studies over the last couple of years. Chapter 1 explains why I chose this dissertation and who are the target users of these texts. Chapter 2 focuses on the role of journalists. A brief history of modern journalism is presented and its functions are analysed. This chapter also includes a section that examines which values make an event newsworthy. Attention is then paid to the evolution of Portuguese journalism, from Salazar's dictatorship until today. Teaching of journalism in Portuguese academia is also presented. Then, a selection of Portuguese-language media is offered. Chapter 3 focuses on some aspects of Portugal, with particular attention to its history. Finally, Chapter 4 presents a selection of texts from the original book. This part provides a biography of the authors, a translation with a comment and a presentation of some of the topics from the texts. To conclude, a glossary with words and expressions from the original text is included and their translations into Italian, Spanish and English are provided.

Risk management in the Lusoponte concession : a case study of the two bridges in Lisbon, Portugal

The case study of Lusoponte illustrates the concession awarded by the Portuguese Government to finance, design, build and operate two bridges over the Tagus in Lisbon, Portugal. It includes an overview of the project's background and an analysis of the main risk categories stating both the actual risks encountered and the mitigation measures adopted. Throughout the project a great attention was given to whole life cycle costs, and gains in efficiency and cost control. Among the lessons that can be learned from both the public and private sector is that a complete risk management analysis must include not only the technical factors but also a realistic assessment of environmental and social risks. These were the risks that were somewhat overseen and that caused the main problems to the project's development.

Distribution tap changer adjustment to improve small-scale embedded generator penetration and mitigate voltage rise

This paper addresses the voltage rise constraints that are initiated from increased renewable generation resources in low voltage distribution networks. In this paper, an approach which is able to mitigate these voltage rise constraints and allow for increased distributed generator penetration is presented. The proposed approach involves utilizing the distribution transformers static tap changer to reduce the distribution feeder voltage setpoint. The proposed approach is modeled on a generic low voltage distribution network using the PSS SINCAL© simulation software package and is also implemented in a real low voltage distribution network to verify its practicality. Results indicate that this approach can be implemented to mitigate the voltage rise constraint and increase small-scale embedded generator penetration in a high proportion of low voltage feeders while avoiding any substantial network costs.
