Artikulu honen helburu nagusia da EAEren eta Txinaren arteko harreman ekonomikoak aztertzea: zein izan da harreman horien bilakaera eta zein egungo garrantzia? 80ko hamarkadatik Txinak lortu duen hazkunde ekonomiko biziaren eraginez bi ekonomien arteko loturak estutu egin dira: 2011n, EAEk Txinan erosi zuen bere guztizko inportazioen %5,3, eta Txinako merkatuan saldu zuen bere esportazio totalen %2,2. Domestic Cats Constitute a Natural Reservoir of Human Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli Types

Feces of 70 diarrhoeic and 230 non-diarrhoeic domestic cats from Sao Paulo, Brazil were investigated for enteropathogenic (EPEC), enterohaemorrhagic (EHEC) and enterotoxigenic (ETEC) Escherichia coli types. While ETEC and EHEC strains were not found, 15 EPEC strains were isolated from 14 cats, of which 13 were non-diarrhoeic, and one diarrhoeic. None of 15 EPEC strains carried the bfpA gene or the EPEC adherence factor plasmid, indicating atypical EPEC types. The EPEC strains were heterogeneous with regard to intimin types, such as eae-theta (three strains), eae-kappa (n = 3), eae-alpha 1 (n = 2), eae-iota (n = 2), one eae-alpha 2, eae-beta 1 and eae-eta each, and two were not typeable. The majority of the EPEC isolates adhered to HEp-2 cells in a localized adherence-like pattern and were positive for fluorescence actin staining. The EPEC strains belonged to 12 different serotypes, including O111:H25 and O125:H6, which are known to be pathogens in humans. Multi locus sequence typing revealed a close genetic similarity between the O111:H25 and O125:H6 strains from cats, dogs and humans. Our results show that domestic cats are colonized by EPEC, including serotypes previously described as human pathogens. As these EPEC strains are also isolated from humans, a cycle of mutual infection by EPEC between cats and its households cannot be ruled out, though the transmission dynamics among the reservoirs are not yet understood clearly.

Y en el espacio de eso que se está denominando “países emergentes” la cultura representa un hervidero de ideas, experiencias y propuestas estéticas. Hoy no es posible ignorar, dentro del panorama artístico, lo que ocurre en esos países. Se trata, muy al contrario, de un foco de interés que conviene atender, y donde nuestros artistas pueden encontrar un nuevo territorio, físico y mental, para desarrollar su particular investigación estética. La presente exposición es una buena muestra del impacto que ha supuesto este proyecto. Y es también, al mismo tiempo, una oportunidad para que nosotros y nosotras podamos disfrutar de las propuestas creativas alumbradas en las cuatro ediciones del programa.

Axial and pseudoscalar current correlators and their couplings to eta and eta(') mesons

Correlators of singlet and octet axial currents, as well as anomaly and pseudoscalar densities have been studied using QCD sum rules. Several of these sum rules are used to determine the couplings f(eta)(8),f(eta)(0), f(eta)('8) and f(eta)('0). We find mutually consistent values which are also in agreement with phenomenological values obtained from data on various decay and production rates. While most of the sum rules studied by us are independent of the contributions of direct instantons and screening correction, the singlet-singlet current correlator and the anomaly-anomaly correlator improve by their inclusion.

Chlorinated Hypoelectronic Dimetallaborane Clusters: Synthesis, Characterization, and Electronic Structures of (eta(5)-C5Me5W)(2)B5HnClm (n=7, m=2 and n=8, m=1)

Pyrolysis of (eta(5)-C5Me5WH3)B4H8, 1, in the presence of excess BHCl2 center dot SMe2 in toluene at 100 degrees C led to the isolation of (eta(5)-C5Me5W)(2)B5H9, 2, and B-Cl inserted (eta(5)-C5Me5W)(2)B5H8Cl, 3, and (eta(5)-C5Me5W)(2)B5H7Cl2, (four isomers). All the Chlorinated tungstaboranes were isolated as red and air and moisture sensitive solids. These new compounds have been characterized in solution by H-1, B-11, C-13 NMR, and the structural types were unequivocally established by crystallographic analysis of compounds 3, 4, and 7. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were carded out on the model molecules of 3-7 to elucidate the actual electronic structures of these chlorinated species. On grounds of DFT calculations we demonstrated the role of transition metals, bridging hydrogens, and the effect of electrophilic substitution of hydrogens at B-H vertices of metallaborane structures.

Vertex-Fused Metallaborane Clusters: Synthesis, Characterization and Electronic Structure of [(eta(5)-C5Me5Mo)(3)MoB9H18]

The reaction of the [(eta(5)-C5Me5)MoCl4] complex with [LiBH4 - TH F] in toluene at - 70 degrees C, followed by pyrolysis at 110 degrees C, afforded dark brown [(eta(5)-C5Me5Mo)(3)MoB9H18], 2, in parallel with the known [(eta(5)-C5Me5Mo)(2)B5H9], 1. Compound 2 has been characterized in solution by H-1, B-11, and C-13 NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis, and the structural types were unequivocally established by crystallographic studies. The title compound represents a novel class of vertex-fused clusters in which a Mo atom has been fused in a perpendicular fashion between two molybdaborane clusters. Electronic structure calculations employing density functional theory yield geometries in agreement with the structure determinations, and on grounds of density functional theory calculations, we have analyzed the bonding patterns in the structure,

Observation of a large coupling of a bound dihydrogen ligand to phosphorus ligands in trans-[(dppe)(2)Ru(eta(2)-H-2) (PF(OMe)(2))][BF4](2) complex

A new dicationic dihydrogen complex of the type trans-[(dppe)(2)Ru(eta (2)-H-2)(PF(OMe)(2))]BF4](2) has been prepared and characterized. A large coupling of about 50 Hz between the H-2 and trans-phosphorus ligand in this complex has been observed.
