This paper describes an algorithm for ``direct numerical integration'' of the initial value Differential-Algebraic Inequalities (DAI) in a time stepping fashion using a sequential quadratic programming (SQP) method solver for detecting and satisfying active path constraints at each time step. The activation of a path constraint generally increases the condition number of the active discretized differential algebraic equation's (DAE) Jacobian and this difficulty is addressed by a regularization property of the alpha method. The algorithm is locally stable when index 1 and index 2 active path constraints and bounds are active. Subject to available regularization it is seen to be stable for active index 3 active path constraints in the numerical examples. For the high index active path constraints, the algorithm uses a user-selectable parameter to perturb the smaller singular values of the Jacobian with a view to reducing the condition number so that the simulation can proceed. The algorithm can be used as a relatively cheaper estimation tool for trajectory and control planning and in the context of model predictive control solutions. It can also be used to generate initial guess values of optimization variables used as input to inequality path constrained dynamic optimization problems. The method is illustrated with examples from space vehicle trajectory and robot path planning.

Based on the hydrodynamic model and Shore Protection Manual (CERC - USA) we have calculated wave field characteristics in the typical wind conditions (wind velocity equal to 13m/s in the high frequency direction of the wind regime). Comparison between measured and calculated wave parameters was presented and these results were corresponded to each other. The following main wave characteristics were calculated: -Pattern of the refraction wave field. -Average wave height field. -Longshore current velocity field in surf zone. From distribution features of wave field characteristics in research areas, it could be summarized as following: - The formation of wave fields in the research areas was unequal because of their local difference of hydrometeorological conditions, river discharge, bottom relief… - At Cuadai (Dai mouth, Hoian) area in the N direction of incident wave field, wave has caused serious variation of the coastline. The coastline in the whole region, especially, at the south of the mouth was eroded and the foreland in the north of the mouth was deposited. - At Cai river mouth (Nhatrang) area in the E direction of incident wave field, wave has effected strongly and directly to the inshore and channel structure. - At Phanthiet bay area in the SW direction of incident wave field, wave has effected strongly to the whole shoreline from Da point to Ne point and caused serious erosion.

Dai ethnic mathematical culture is an important part of Dai ethnic culture. Mathematical elements show in their daily life. Through a research project of the Yunnan Dehong Dai people in southwest China, We collected the first-hand information, tried to do a small investigative study, and collected mathematics teaching resources that is useful to primary and secondary schools students on mathematics learning  in this minority areas. Se facilita el enlace a un blog elaborado en el CEIP San Félix de Candás (Asturias) y fruto de la labor realizada por un grupo de trabajo integrado por dieciséis profesores del colegio, que trabajaron en el desarrollo del plan lector del centro. En este blog encontraremos: un vídeo sobre la importancia de las palabras; un poema con ilustraciones sobre la vida de Miguel Hernández; varios vídeos que presentan diversas actividades relacionadas con la animación a la lectura y su aplicación en el aula de inglés; una actividad realizada por un experto en literatura infantil que gira en torno a la lectura elegida en el aula; y finalmente, la presentación de un trabajo documental realizado en la mediateca del centro en torno al tema 'España y las Comunidades'.

Expone una visión general sobre el método DAI publicado en 1992, trabajo de investigación pedagógica catalana realizado en 1990 por J.M Ferran y J. Masip, a partir del esbozo de 1989. Recoge las conclusiones del seminario sobre 'elaboración de recursos y materiales para la integración', a partir de la propia experiencia de los aspectos organizativos y didácticos que favorecen el desarrollo de proyectos innovadores y de las estrategias que se pueden desarrollar para mejorar la calidad de enseñanza e innovar con los recursos de los que dispone el centro. Hace un breve resumen de las perspectivas de futuro y propone acciones formativas e innovadoras que permiten un mejor desarrollo de la implantación de la reforma con las implicaciones en la comunidad educativa y el contexto social.
