A presente dissertação consiste num trabalho de investigação descritivo e exploratório, cujo principal objetivo é conhecer a eficácia da comunicação interna na organização. Atualmente tem-se apontado que a comunicação interna é um dos fatores geradores de comprometimento. Como as organizações são sistemas complexos, esta é uma ferramenta que pode favorecer a unidade organizacional. A comunicação interna é uma condição essencial para o bom funcionamento das organizações e um diferencial competitivo num mercado cada vez mais concorrencial. As organizações que possuem bons sistemas de comunicação interna são capazes de atingir melhores condições de planeamento estratégico, onde a informação flui com mais rapidez e facilidade.

Diante de novos desafios da Sociedade da Informação e fazendo uso da Teoria da Complexidade, buscou-se mostrar, neste estudo, não apenas a importância do diálogo na comunicação interna, mas também como as mídias podem tornar-se canais potencializadores da interatividade mútua entre empresa e funcionários. A metodologia norteadora foi o levantamento bibliográfico do assunto e a realização de entrevistas focadas em gestores e professores/pesquisadores de comunicação organizacional. Apesar das benesses do diálogo na comunicação interna aos funcionários e à empresa apresentadas tanto pela pesquisa bibliográfica quanto pelos docentes, concluiu-se que a comunicação organizacional nas empresas ainda é, predominantemente, de transmissão de informação.

Globalization, which increased the market to a position of competition and change never before experienced, also imposed a series of changes that have transformed the social systems, organizations increasingly complex. In this scenario, communication has received attention from modern managers. Research indicates that some sectors of activity, more than others, rely on communication as a tool for achieving their goals. The tourism sector, located in the service segment is configured as one of these activities, which the hotel is part of the composite product. With the intention to acknowledge these aspects in this study sought to analyze the characteristics of internal communication in a hotel project in the managerial perspective. To try to answer this purpose we constructed a framework based on authors that discuss organizational communication, internal communication and hotel businesses. For the purpose of research was chosen a unit of study to assess the views of managers regarding the issue. In the unit studied was sought to apprehend these meanings through interviews with a group of managers in the organization and analysis of documents. Data were analyzed through content analysis of Bardin (1977), with the technique of categorical analysis, as it sought to capture aspects that allow the description of the contents of the messages. The results pointed to an organizational reality based heavily on orality, who lives constantly with noise and using communication to regulate behavior. With little or no reflection on managerial communication inferred that subordinates should not absorb the message completely, a phenomenon that can not be responsible for the complete fulfillment thereof. Moreover, it was realized that the organization studied did not plan your communication, since, yet the views as a strategic tool to achieve your goals

The present study compose an analysis on the process of internal communication at a public organization, built on the survey data originary of administrative conduct, observation on the cultural model of the organization and how the interdepartmental and interpersonal relations shows up. The research, exploratory descriptive kind, had theoretical basis on two knowledge areas Administrative Science and Social Communication and was developed at Instituto do Desenvolvimento Econômico e Meio Ambiente IDEMA, in Rio Grande do Norte. During data collection, were conducted spontaneous and semi structured interviews with directors and coordinators, besides the application of directed questionnaire to functionaries in two unites of the institution. Through the analysis and interpretation of the data, we came to the conclusion that the process of internal communication at a public organization fall in with same challenges of private organizations, but with peculiarities that attracts the scientific look specially, in concern of the attitude assumed by the administrators in the conduction of communication functions inside the organization, the profile of social actor and the communication channels used. Although the organizational communication represents more and more a strategic function, as an administration tool, the point that research gets to shows that in public organizations the communication refrains from administrative purpose and with the major objective of giving publicity to the institutional acts and actions

Internal Communications, a central theme of this project, it is essential to support a transparent and effective cooperation between organization and em ployee. In companies with Quality Management System, as certified in ISO 9001, need to adhere to the quality not only in its management policy, but as in all of its processes and the various agencies in which there is interaction, especially the internal. This paper aims to reflect on the interaction with the internal audience, paying attention to the fact that the information required and the strategic management of public relations positively interfere in the relationship between organization and employe e and the resulting benefits that these entail in quality management. The demonstration of the policies employed by the company Vien a Grafica & Editora as the basis for developing a model suggestive of internal communication in business quality. Thus, we intend to understand how effective communication arouses feelings of motivation and engagement among employees, so there is the realization of quality in all organizational sectors

Quer seja a nível pessoal quer seja empresarial existem atualmente muitas formas de obter informações e conhecimentos. Numa empresa são produzidas milhares de informações que causam impacto na vida dos colaboradores, mas que nem sempre são bem comunicadas. O mais importante nos dias de hoje é a mobilidade e o acesso fácil à tecnologia de informação. Até ao final da década de 80, do século XX, a comunicação nas empresas era realizada através dos meios tradicionais, como por exemplo, as publicações impressas, a correspondência empresarial, entre outros. Em pleno século XXI, a comunicação organizacional utiliza também as novas tecnologias de comunicação como meio e instrumento para atingir os seus objetivos. A Intranet é neste momento, o meio de comunicação interna mais utilizado, possibilitando que as informações sejam encontradas e utilizadas de forma mais rápida, e disponibilizadas para todos os membros da organização. Representa um mecanismo que agiliza os processos internos e externos de uma empresa, possibilitando que várias pessoas planeiem estratégias, discutam projetos, realizem reuniões virtuais, de forma a obterem uma relação custo/benefício mais eficiente. A Intranet fornece serviços de correio, web, chat, o que agiliza os processos comunicacionais corporativos, e torna mais eficiente e eficaz a comunicação entre as pessoas e entre os departamentos/áreas de uma organização. Neste sentido a Comunicação Interna tem uma função muito importante, no sentido de fazer circular novas informações, promover o debate e a interação entre os vários colaboradores da organização da mesma área/departamento ou de áreas diferentes e, sobretudo, formar os colaboradores para os novos desafios. Por se tratar de um instrumento muito recente e existir poucos estudos sobre o mesmo e a sua implicação na comunicação interna, esta dissertação poderá ser útil em vários domínios. Ao longo da sua apresentação, e em concreto na revisão da literatura é abordado o conceito de comunicação interna a nível organizacional assim como as variáveis que está intimamente relacionada, e numa segunda fase é abordado a evolução das tecnologias ao serviço da gestão empresarial, e mais em concreto a ferramenta de comunicação- a Intranet. A dissertação tem como objetivo geral perceber que contributo a tecnologia e os novos sistemas de informação, neste caso a utilização da Intranet traz ao Grupo EDP, face às suas políticas de comunicação interna, e em que medida a sua utilização implica o conhecimento e a informação em todos os membros da organização e de que forma isso se expressa. Por um lado, pretende-se percecionar em que medida é que os conteúdos disponibilizados vão de encontro às necessidades e expectativas dos colaboradores e, por outro, percecionar se a informação disponibilizada na intranet da EDP (edpON), por conteúdos temáticos, vai ao encontro das expetativas das diferentes categorias profissionais em que se inserem os seus colaboradores. Este estudo de caso realizado no Grupo EDP, permite analisar sobretudo como a existência de uma Intranet apoia a comunicação interna de uma organização, mobilizando os colaboradores para o aumento do trabalho em equipa e a melhoria do seu desempenho profissional, bem como contribui para uma eficaz gestão comunicacional ao serviço da gestão do grupo empresarial, objeto de estudo. A Comunicação interna no caso do grupo EDP a nível mundial deve permitir compartilhar a missão, a visão, a estratégia e os valores organizacionais. Ela deve cumprir uma função estratégica dentro da empresa, e incorporar o desafio diário da gestão da mudança e ao mesmo tempo espelhar uma cultura organizacional comprometida com metas, objetivos, desempenho e resultados. A importância da concretização deste estudo de caso, no âmbito da análise da comunicação interna e essencialmente da sua Intranet, pretende acrescentar valor à prossecução do cumprimento de objetivos comunicacionais do grupo EDP, assim como propor outras soluções, para a sua gestão empresarial.
