在严格控制光照(350μmol photons m -2s-1)和空气相对湿度(75%)的人工气候室内,模拟青海高原昼夜温差较大的环境条件(25℃/10℃,昼/夜),以无昼夜温差的环境条件(25℃/25℃,昼/夜)为对照,对不同环境条件下选育的青海高原338和上海沪麦5号小麦品种的生长发育及经济性状的形成进行了比较研究。结果表明,15℃昼夜温差处理较对照条件下生长的小麦表现较好,总叶面积增加,生育期和叶片寿命延长,植株总干重和每穗粒数及千粒重均显著高于无昼夜温差条件下生长的小麦。因此,较大的昼夜温差环境条件是青海高原小麦易于高产的重要原因。 从品种看,青海的高原338在15℃昼夜温差处理下生长表现显著优于上海的沪 麦5号。而在无昼夜温差条件下,两个品种的生长情况正好相反。由此可以看出,培育适合当地昼夜温差环境因素的品种也是小麦获得高产的主要因素。

在严格控制光照和空气相对湿度的人工气候室内, 模拟不同昼夜温差(25℃/10℃, 昼/夜和25℃/25℃, 昼/夜) , 对两个原在不同环境条件下栽培的青海高原338和上海沪麦5号小麦品种的光合特性进行了比较研究。结果表明, 在有15℃昼夜温差处理条件下生长的小麦,其叶面积较大, 叶片寿命较长, 呼吸作用较低。不同的昼夜温差条件下小麦的光合作用响应曲线没有明显的差异; 但在夜温为10℃下生长的小麦, 其光合作用的最适温度比在夜温为25℃下生长的小麦低2℃- 3℃。三叶期, 有15℃昼夜温差处理条件下生长小麦的净光合速率、光系统Ⅱ的光化学效率和呼吸速率均比无昼夜温差对照下生长的同种小麦高, 而抽穗期却有相反的趋势。在处理和对照两种生长条件下, 抽穗期的净光合速率和光系统Ⅱ的光化学效率均是青海高原338略低于上海沪麦5号。

Este texto describe en detalle diversas metodologías que permiten calcular dos medidas utilizadas para cuantificar el riesgo de mercado asociado a un activo financiero: el valor en riesgo VAR y el Expected Shortfall (ES). Los métodos analizados se basan en técnicas estadísticas apropiadas para el caso de series financieras, como son los modelos ARIMA, GARCH y modelos basados en la teoría del valor extremo. Estas metodologías se aplican a las variaciones diarias de la tasa interbancaria de Colombia para el período comprendido entre 1995 y 2004. Los conceptos utilizados en este texto suponen que el lector esté familiarizado con algunos elementos básicos de estadística, series de tiempo y finanzas. Se trata, por tanto, de un texto escrito para estudiantes de economía y finanzas de últimos cursos de pregrado, maestría y para profesionales interesados en el tema.

A methane surplus relative to the atmospheric equilibrium is a frequently observed feature of ocean surface water. Despite the common fact that biological processes are responsible for its origin, the formation of methane in aerobic surface water is still poorly understood. We report on methane production in the central Arctic Ocean, which was exclusively detected in Pacific derived water but not nearby in Atlantic derived water. The two water masses are distinguished by their different nitrate to phosphate ratios. We show that methane production occurs if nitrate is depleted but phosphate is available as a P source. Apparently the low N:P ratio enhances the ability of bacteria to compete for phosphate while the phytoplankton metabolite dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP) is utilized as a C source. This was verified by experimentally induced methane production in DMSP spiked Arctic sea water. Accordingly we propose that methylated compounds may serve as precursors for methane and thermodynamic calculations show that methylotrophic methanogenesis can provide energy in aerobic environments.
