Os Statalismes - particularismos lexicais do francês da Suíça na tradução juramentada

Este estudo, de natureza teórica/aplicada, contempla os estudos (sócio) linguísticos, (sócio) terminológicos, do léxico e da tradução especializada. Tem como objeto de estudo um corpus de textos submetidos à tradução/versão juramentada francês-português e um corpus de textos originalmente redigidos em francês da Suíça. O objetivo é observar as aproximações e distanciamentos existentes entre o primeiro e o segundo conjunto terminológico. A problemática situa-se na verificação da confrontação desse material: será que os particularismos lexicais do francês suíço determinariam uma dificuldade relevante no trabalho do tradutor brasileiro, cuja formação privilegia o francês da França? Nossos resultados revelam diferenças significativas de uso e perigosos falsos cognatos. A metodologia para o levantamento dos particularismos na variante suíça presentes em documentos civis ou escolares privilegia os termos cognatos e aqueles com o status de ‘statalismes’ (romandismos institucionais).

The language in use in a society is product of a culture and reflects the way a community thinks. Therefore, the lexical units, through the meanings assigned by a social group, establish a specific look of the universe. We intend to demonstrate that for the denomination of the sexual organs of the human body it usual to avoid the official anatomical terminology – relegated to contexts of great formality – and to adopt other lexical items during informal situations. We intend, with this research, to demystify some prejudices related to the erotic-obscene lexicon, its use and its creation, besides stimulating reflections, in Portuguese and Italian.

O modelo atômico de Bohr e as abordagens para seu ensino na escola média

The teaching of modern and contemporary Physics subjects in high school is indispensable and it was already justified by several researchers. Among the subjects which must be taught, there is, for instance, Bohr atomics model. However, as it was noticed in literature review, many didactic materials do not deal with this model adequately, since that they do not take into account Bohr ideas, which involved Planck studies on black-body radiation, Einsten theory for photoelectric effect, Rutherford experiences and atomics model and the empiric results upon the spectrums of chemical elements emission. From that, it is extremely important teaching through approaches which potentialize the learning of the model proposed by Niels Bohr. On the other hand, teachers from high schools cannot have clearness about which approaches can be applied for teaching the mentioned model. Thus, it is presented some possibilities for teaching Bohr atomics model, with examples and justifications for the use of each one. Special treatment was attributed to the teaching from Science History and Philosophy, from the reading of scientific diffusion and original scientific texts, from analogies, from comic strips and from computer simulations.

We developed a case study aimed to identify and to analyze how the approach to teaching and learning strategies occurs in a science teaching degree course and what are the possible influences of this formation on the pedagogical practice of these educators. The analysis focused on documents, questionnaires and interviews with lecturers and students. There is reduced diversity of strategies in the disciplines of the specific area, with prevalence of expository classes and of laboratory, and the lecturers seem to believe that a good knowledge of specific content is enough for teaching. Despite that pedagogical disciplines do explore diverse practices, many students incorporate the academic view prevailing in the course, repeating the model of their lecturers. We stress the need for initial teacher training to take into account both aspects, the domain of the specific contents and the best ways to mediate them, forming intellectuals able to discuss and to redraw their educative actions in a perspective of transformation of the reality.
