Corpos-de-prova tubulares soldados e respectivo dispositivo para ensaios de fadiga sob esforços co-planares

O presente modelo de utilidade refere-se à configuração ou configurações de corpos-de-prova tubulares soldados e um dispositivo desenvolvido para induzir-lhes esforços combinados de tração e flexão a partir dos carregamentos axiais. Os corpos-de-prova são compostos por dois tubos metálicos (1, 2) aos quais são soldados dois tubos diversos (3, 4), posicionados diametralmente opostos e em diversos ângulos, preferencialmente em ângulos múltiplos de 15<198>. Refere-se ainda a um dispositivo para ensaio, ao qual são acoplados corpos-de-prova, de modo a permitir ensaios de resistência à fadiga sob esforços coplanares. Os braços do corpo-de-prova (8) são montados nos braços (9) do dispositivo. Pinos (10) são encaixados nos braços (9) e fixados.

Física dos anos iniciais: estudo sobre a queda livre dos corpos através da metodologia da mediação dialética

The model used in Brazilian schools, based on both traditional and progressive education, transmits information without worrying to show the real meaning of things, and without taking into consideration the previous knowledge of the pupil. How to work with the contents of human knowledge in a meaningful way? One alternative way is the Methodology of Dialectical Mediation (MDM), which consists in four steps or pedagogical moments, rescuing, problem posing, systematizing and producing. This theoretical option considers the educational work as a relationship involving teaching, learning and contents, which are taken as independent moments tightly connected to the ongoing work, instead of isolated elements or static terms. The aim of the present work is to clarify the Methodology of Dialectical Mediation and develop a class proposal according to the MDM approach to the problem of the free falling bodies (gravity, material means and shape). To evaluate the methodology, questionnaires were applied after experiments, with the involvement of students at each predominant moment. The results suggested that the MMD, combined with experimental activity, is a tool that enhances the overcoming of immediate knowledge, allowing students to reach a better understanding of the scientific knowledge.

Épocas e extensões do período de convivência das plantas daninhas interferindo na produtividade da cultura do milho (Zea mays)

Q field experiment was carried out at the Gralha Azul Experimental Farm/PUCPR, in the municipality of Fazenda Rio Grande-PR, to evaluate the effect of different times and coexistence extension periods of weeds interfering in corn yield. The experiment was arranged in a complete randomized complete block design and the treatments in a 4x5+2 factorial, with four replications. The treatments were as follows: four initial weed control periods (0-0, 0-7, 0-14 and 0-21 DAE) and five restarted weed control periods until the harvest (28, 42, 56, 70 and 84 DAE) and two checks, weedy and weed-free. The experiment was carried out under a no-till system. The period prior to weed interference (PBWI), the start of the critical period of weed interference (CPWI) and the infesting community were evaluated. When the initial weed control period was 0-0 day, the PPWI was at 9 DAE of corn; however, with increasing initial weed control periods (0-7, 0-14 and 0-21 DAE) the period prior to weed interference inncreased in relation to 0-0 day of the initial weed control, evidencing the existence of PPWI-S of 17, 24 and 28 DAE of corn, respectively. Thus CPWI initiates at the end of PPWI-S, the period when weed control is indispensable to prevent a significant reduction in corn yield. Coexistance with the weeds throughout the crop cycle reduced yield in 15%, compared to the weed-free check. Nine species of seven botanical families were assessed in the infesting community. Reduced density and dry mass were verified in the weeds that coexisted with corn, compared to those that grew without it, thus evidencing a suppressive effect of corn over the infesting plants.

Estudo da distribuição e das densidades larvais do bivalve invasor Limnoperna fortunei (Dunker, 1857) nos principais corpos d’água da bacia do rio da Prata

O mexilhão-dourado (Limnoperna fortunei) é um bivalve de água doce pertencente à família Mytilidae. Originário de rios e arroios da China e do sudeste asiático, foi introduzido acidentalmente na América do Sul em 1991, no estuário do rio da Prata, provavelmente através de água de lastro. Como encontrou condições propícias para o seu desenvolvimento, se expandiu através dos rios Uruguai, Paraná e Paraguai, sendo atualmente o principal responsável pelo macrofouling em ecossistemas de água doce do continente. O presente estudo compreende uma área de grande extensão na bacia do Rio da Prata, onde foram amostrados pontos estratégicos nos rios Paraná (e seus principais afluentes), Uruguai e Paraguai. A partir de coletas de organismos do plâncton, realizadas por arrasto vertical, foram quantificadas as densidades de larvas de L. fortunei em cada local de amostragem. Assim, obteve-se um panorama atual da ocorrência do mexilhão, registrando-se, inclusive, alguns limites de sua distribuição. As densidades mostraram-se, no geral, elevadas, provavelmente em decorrência do período de amostragem (verão 2010), onde a atividade reprodutiva da espécie é maior devido às altas temperaturas. Porém, grandes variações ao longo da bacia foram registradas, o que pode estar relacionado ao grau de antropização, disponibilidade de substratos, velocidade da corrente, tempo de introdução, entre outras variáveis

Modelagem matemática e simulação computacional de derrames de óleo em corpos d'água: um estudo de caso na região do Porto de Santos

The objective of this work is to accomplish studies of mathematical modeling and computational simulation of oil spills in water bodies. For this reason, a case study in the region of the Port of Santos was developed using the softwares SisBAHIA and ADIOS2 for the simulation of different hypothetical scenarios of oil spilling on the surface of water, aiming to obtain information that contribute to the reduction of the possible environmental impacts that can be caused by such accidents. The results generated in the different simulations had shown that the obtained data can be extremely useful to subsidize the elaboration of mitigation plans, the mapping of risk areas or even the proposal of emergencial strategies in cases of real accidents, configuring the modeling and the simulation as important and modern tools for the environmental planning and management.

Corpos intrusivos básicos na coluna sedimentar Permo-Carbonífera no vale do rio Corumbataí

As rochas intrusivas básicas associadas a Formação Serra Geral na porção sul do município de Rio Claro e norte de Piracicaba configuram geometrias na forma de diques e soleiras. Estes corpos estão associados à uma parte da Bacia Sedimentar do Paraná que foi deformada por eventos tectônico que resultaram em trends preferencias NW-SE, condicionando a estratigrafia, a intrusão e geometria dos corpos de diabásio e formação da estrutura domática do alto de Pitanga. Os corpos intrusivos tem em sua maioria a forma de soleiras e em menor quantidade a forma de diques. A compreensão destes corpos é importante para o entendimento da estratigrafia da área conhecida como domo de Pitanga na região de Rio e Piracicaba

They are several the tools used by the companies, as acting indexes to control the course of the worker's activities or certain section, integrations for new employees with the objective to present the line of work of the company so that the new employee is framed in these patterns, trainings offered for the employees to carry out their services with quality and compromising, evaluations of year end in order to test the worker's knowledge and to demand better results, finally, the companies hope the employee integrates normativamente into the reality of the company, in way to contribute for the atingimento of the organizational strategies, always collecting for this to obtain the best results and contribute to the growth of the company. This way, that research will present a tool of control of the total quality applied in a company in Rio Clearing's city and that it is managed by an educador. They will be verified the objectives that the company has in relationship a this control, the worker's subjectivity as participant subject of the tool of control of the System of Administration of the Quality and the worker's different glances before these aspects throught an interview.

A importância do planejamento financeiro: uma abordagem de matematica financeira para o ensino médio com o uso do excell

The financial health of a family is one of the main generators of quality of life, and this is only possible through financial planning, which is nothing more than save and analyze before contracting debts. To do this, students must have notion of financial mathematics, especially of that used by the banks on overdraft interest, in investments and in the short-term and longterm loans, that is, compound interest, equivalent rates, depreciation and others. Starting from the knowledge of arithmetic and geometric progressions and, based on real situations which allow the application of the content learned, one intends to develop activities applied to high education. To start from real situations is one of the main lines of thought of the Problem Solving Methodology, in which the student is the active agent in the construction of his or her knowledge. As the National Curricular Parameters point out, the practice in the use of computers is essential for gaining a job. O espaço das ordens de um corpo

O objetivo deste trabalho é exibir corpos com infinitas ordens e exibir uma estrutura topológica ao conjunto das ordens de um corpo. Como cada ordem em um corpo está associada de modo único a um subgrupo de índice dois do grupo multiplicativo do corpo, ela fica associada, de modo natural, com uma funç˜ao de F \ {0} em {±1}, (onde F é o corpo em quest˜ao). Assim uma ordem é um elemento do produto cartesiano Πx∈F˙ {±1}x. Usando a topologia produto, será provado que o conjunto das ordens é um espaço booleano, isto é, um espaço topológico de Hausdorff, compacto e totalmente desconexo.
