The majority of research work carried out in the field of Operations-Research uses methods and algorithms to optimize the pick-up and delivery problem. Most studies aim to solve the vehicle routing problem, to accommodate optimum delivery orders, vehicles etc. This paper focuses on green logistics approach, where existing Public Transport infrastructure capability of a city is used for the delivery of small and medium sized packaged goods thus, helping improve the situation of urban congestion and greenhouse gas emissions reduction. It carried out a study to investigate the feasibility of the proposed multi-agent based simulation model, for efficiency of cost, time and energy consumption. Multimodal Dijkstra Shortest Path algorithm and Nested Monte Carlo Search have been employed for a two-phase algorithmic approach used for generation of time based cost matrix. The quality of the tour is dependent on the efficiency of the search algorithm implemented for plan generation and route planning. The results reveal a definite advantage of using Public Transportation over existing delivery approaches in terms of energy efficiency.

La Geometría del Espacio es una rama de la Matemática que estudia las propieda-des y medidas de figurasque se relacionan con la mayoría de objetos tridimensionales que tenemos a nuestro alrededor; por esto nuestro trabajo titulado “Elaboración de una guía y material didáctico de la Geometría del Espacio para el Laboratorio de Matemática de la carrera de Matemáticas y Física de la Universidad de Cuenca” da lugar a una nueva estrategia que puede utilizar el docente en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de esta asignatura. En el capítulo uno de nuestro trabajo de graduación se analizan los aspectos generales de la educación así como las corrientes pedagógicas que están presentes dentro del proceso educativo, para luego hablar de la didáctica y la importancia de trabajar con material concreto en el área de Matemática, específicamente en la Geometría del Espacio así como los recursos que son óptimos para trabajar esta asignatura. En el capítulo dos, se demuestra mediante un muestreo no probabilístico que existe dificultad en la comprensión de los contenidos de la Geometría del Espacio y que una buena opción para desarrollar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje sobre esta asignatura es la utilización de material concreto y de una guía didáctica que facilite la comprensión de los contenidos. Por último en el capítulo tres se presenta un conjunto de diez prácticas sobre pla-nos y sólidos, las cuales, siguen los pasos que exige una práctica de laboratorio innovadora, de una manera ordenada y secuencial para reforzar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.

A zona geográfica circunscrita que abrange este trabalho de investigação encontra-se exígua de pesquisa e trabalhos arqueológicos, sendo no entanto reconhecida como uma zona enxameada de vestígios. Um imenso património por descobrir. Ambiciona-se, por isso clarificar a ocupação, no que respeita ao povoamento do território do actual concelho do Marco de Canaveses, no período cronológico da Proto-História, de forma a contribuir para uma actualização da investigação realizada e procurando novos pontos a desenvolver, alargando-a depois a uma vasta área territorial de serrania que integra o imenso noroeste peninsular. Orientada por um fio condutor sequencial de natureza cronológica, a investigação realizada conta com o contributo da toponímia, análise cartográfica, monografias e resenhas locais para o conhecimento de toda uma realidade patrimonial existente ao longo do território em estudo. A correlação das temáticas de ordem social, como a circulação de pessoas e bens através da rede viária e, por outro lado, de ordem geográfica no que respeita a locais propícios à fixação da população pelas suas características culturais e naturais, permite uma análise geográfica a este nível e a resposta a questões como: “De que forma habitou?” e “Porque habitou?”.

This research work aims to discuss the gender issue concerning entrepreneurship in European Union countries in a period of nine years, from 2007 to 2015, identifying the factors which drive individuals to be entrepreneurs. The study mainly concentrates on identifying and quantifying the personal, social, political and economic features which are motivating individuals, especially women, to be entrepreneurs, as well as the main difficulties they feel during the process of business creation. In order to explore the entrepreneurial activity across a set of developed countries the econometric methodology of panel data (in particular the fixed effects and random effects models) is applied to a data set of entrepreneurial statistical indicators calculated and made available by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. The results show that the knowledge of other start-up entrepreneurs, a desired career choice, the governmental support and the existence of public policies that promote entrepreneurship (specially within the framework of small and medium sized firms) and the transfer of R&D are factors influencing negatively on the rate of female entrepreneurship. None of the observed variables are barriers for male entrepreneurs. The perceived capabilities and opportunities, the entrepreneurial intention, the policies to lower taxes and bureaucracy and the social and cultural norms are identified drives for women for engaging in a process of running their own ventures. These findings offer a set of valid knowledge to understand which measures could be implemented or should be changed and improved at a political and managerial level for stimulating entrepreneurship, especially for women.

The research work is devoted to actual problems of development management of industrial enterprises. The general purpose of this work is the choice and justification of rational enterprise development evaluation model and subsequent application of it for assessment of enterprise development level and also forming of recommendations for enterprise management. Theoretical aspects of development management of enterprises were generalized. The approaches to understanding the essence of development enterprise category and its types were considered. It was investigated the evaluation models of enterprise development, their advantages and disadvantages and the difficulties of their implementation. The requirements for formation of the evaluation system of the enterprise development were summarized. It was determined the features of the formation and application of an Index of Enterprise Development. In the empirical part, data about investigated enterprises was collected from their official websites and also complemented with further data from other statistical websites. The analysis was based on the annual financial statements of companies. To assess the level of enterprise development were chosen model proposed by Feshchur and Samulyak (2010). This model involves the calculation of the Index of Enterprise Development using partial indicators, their reference values and weight. It was conducted an analysis of the development of Ukrainian enterprises that produce sauces. OJSC “LZHK” had the highest value of Index of Enterprise Development, in 2013 and 2015, that consisted 0,78 and 0,76 respectively. In 2014 the highest value for the Index belonged to PJSC “Volynholdinh” and amounted 0,74. OJSC “LZHK” had the highest average value of Index of Enterprise Development by the result of 2013-2015 years, and it consisted 0,70. PJSC “Chumak” had the lowest average value of Index of Enterprise Development obtained the result 0,59. In order to raise the enterprise development level, it was suggested to reduce production costs and staff turnover, increase the involvement of employees.

Este trabalho de investigação tem como objetivo aferir quais as tarefas e valências específicas necessárias para a manutenção permanente de UAS, em contraste com os requisitos preconizados nos regulamentos de aeronavegabilidade permanente de aeronaves militares. A aeronavegabilidade consiste na avaliação e certificação de uma aeronave voar de acordo com os padrões de segurança estabelecidos. Esta é dividida em aeronavegabilidade continuada, que avalia a condição de uma aeronave após a sua construção, e a aeronavegabilidade permanente, que estabelece as ações de manutenção necessárias para manter os níveis de aeronavegabilidade pretendidos durante a sua operação. Para assegurar que os UAS atingem os padrões aeronáutica atuais, é importante perceber como os regulamentos podem ser adaptados para responder à sua especificidade. Para aferir quais as tarefas e valências de manutenção específicas para UAS, é desenvolvido um modelo qualitativo e indutivo fazendo uso da análise de literatura e dados recolhidos através de entrevistas estruturadas a pessoal de manutenção de UAS. As dimensões consideradas seguem o modelo SHELL preconizado pela ICAO para a análise de fatores humanos em sistemas aeronáuticos. A partir do modelo gerado, é sintetizado um conjunto de conteúdos curriculares como proposta para adequação a UAS dos conteúdos requeridos no EMAR 66. Abstract: This research work has the objective of assessing which specific tasks and skills are necessary for the continuous maintenance of UAS, in contrast with the requirements recommended in the rules and regulations for continuous airworthiness of militar aircrafts. Airworthiness consists on the evaluation and certification of the capability of an aircraft to fly in compliance with the established safety standards. It is divided in initial airworthiness, which evaluates the condition of na aircraft after its construction, and the continuous airworthiness, which establishes what are the necessary maintenance actions in order to keep the desired airworthiness levels during operation. In order to assure that UAS meet the current aeronautics standards, it is paramount to understand how the rules and regulations can be adapted to cope with its specific features. In order to understand which are the specific maintenance tasks and skills specific for UAS, it is developed a qualitative and inductive model taking into consideration a literature analysis and structured interviews to UAS maintenance personnel. The dimensions considered follow the SHELL model recommended by ICAO for the analysis of human factors in aviation. From the developed model, it is synthesized a set of learning topics that serves as a proposal for extending the basic skills required by the EMAR 66.
