Equivalence of paper and pencil vs internet forms of the ZKPQ-50-CC in Spanish and French samples

This study was designed to check for the equivalence of the ZKPQ-50-CC (Spanish and French versions) through Internet on-line (OL) and paper and pencil (PP) answer format. Differences in means and devia- tions were significant in some scales, but effect sizes are minimal except for Sociability in the Spanish sample. Alpha reliabilities are also very similar in both versions with no significant differences between formats. A robust factorial structure was found for the two formats and the average congruency coefficients were 0.98. The goodness-of-fit indexes obtained by confirmatory factorial analysis are very similar to those obtained in the ZKPQ-50-CC validation study and they do not differ between the two formats. The multi-group analysis confirms the equivalence among the OL-PP formats in both countries. These results in general support the validity and reliability of the Internet as a method in investigations using the ZKPQ-50-CC.

Wählen per Internet verändert die Schweiz

Der Autor befasst sich mit dem Thema e-Voting am Beispiel der Schweiz. Umwählen zu gehen, begibt sich der Bürger auf Wählerseiten im Internet. Dort beantwortet er zuerst 10 Fragen zu bedeutsamen politischen Themen. Je nach seinen Antworten werden die dafür politisch eintretenden Kandidaten vorgestellt. Der Wähler kann sich nun detailliert über sie und ihre politischen Positionen informieren und dann entscheiden, welchem Politiker er seine Stimme gibt. Voraussetzung hierfür ist, dass die Kandidaten präzise Angaben über ihre Person und die von ihnen vertretene Politik im Internet zugänglich machen, da sie ansonsten auf den Wahlseiten nicht zugelassen würden und somit ihre Chancen, gewählt zu werden, minimieren würden. Hat der Bürger sich festgelegt, schickt er das Dokument zur Auswertung an einen Server des Staates, der dann innerhalb von Stunden das neue Wahlergebnis präsentieren könnte. Die Wahlseiten selbst werden wahrscheinlich nicht vom Staat kontrolliert, da die Regierung diese manipulieren könnte. Wenn aber die Gestaltung der Seiten in private Hand gelegt wird, besteht die Gefahr, dass die Listen nicht als offizielle Wahllisten anerkannt werden. Hier besteht also noch Klärungsbedarf. Ein klarer Vorteil solcher Wahlseiten ist, dass die Ziele und Interessen der Politiker noch transparenter werden. Das Internet bietet dem Bürger die Möglichkeit, seine persönlichen Interessen mit denen der Politiker zu vergleichen und sich dann nach einem Abwägunsprozess zu entscheiden. ,,In einigen Jahren werden hier zu Lande Wahlurnen ganz verschwinden", prophezeit der Autor und verweist auf die Arbeit einer Projektgruppe, die die noch offenen Fragen des E-Votings klären will.

Literatura, indústria cultural e formação humana

Este trabalho aborda questões referentes à literatura e aos produtos da indústria cultural, especialmente aos chamados romances "cor-de-rosa", focalizando as potencialidades de diferentes discursos na formação da subjetividade. As protagonistas dos romances O Quinze e As Três Marias, de Rachel de Queiroz são utilizadas como referência. Nesta perspectiva, evidencia-se a impregnação das criações ficcionais, atuando, de forma subconsciente e inconsciente, nas camadas profundas da personalidade, que pode em alguns casos, ampliar o conhecimento e a experiência humanos, aguçar os meios de expressão, despertar o senso crítico, mas em outros, reforçar a alienação da realidade. Conclui que enquanto a literatura oferece a possibilidade de libertar, os produtos da indústria cultural, ou seja, a literatura de massas, constituem um convite à alienação, ao conformismo, uma vez que tendem a inculcar estereótipos e preconceitos.

Protagonismo juvenil na literatura especializada e na reforma do ensino médio

O "protagonismo juvenil" tem tido ampla repercussão na área educacional, principalmente a partir da implementação da reforma curricular do ensino médio, cujas diretrizes adotam esse conceito como um dos pilares das inovações sugeridas. No entanto, o tema é sujeito a diferentes interpretações. Com a preocupação de maior precisão conceitual, este artigo recorre às definições de diversos autores como contraponto para a análise do protagonismo tal como proposto pelo documento oficial da reforma.

Formação de leitores de literatura na escola brasileira: caminhadas e labirintos

O artigo apresenta as propostas oficiais do Ministério da Educação e da Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo sobre o ensino de literatura nas escolas, analisando os diferentes posicionamentos teóricos de seus autores e o contexto histórico-social em que foram elaboradas. O panorama geral que se observa no levantamento dessas propostas aponta para uma mudança significativa na maneira pela qual a disciplina de língua portuguesa deve ser examinada e ensinada pelo professor, priorizando os objetivos de ensino em detrimento das tradicionais listas de conteúdo. Como conseqüência imediata dessa mudança, há um novo enfoque do ensino de língua a partir de uma concepção psicossocial, sem a divisão do ensino por frentes: gramática, (história) da literatura e redação. No entanto, verifica-se ainda uma grande lacuna entre as metas desses documentos oficiais e a realidade vivenciada pela maioria das escolas e professores brasileiros, uma vez que a ratificação da importância do ensino de literatura na formação de alunos leitores não garante aos educadores conhecimento e um saber-fazer que propicie um ensino de literatura inserido nos estudos de linguagem. Tendo em vista essa peculiaridade do ensino de literatura no Brasil, o levantamento realizado busca destacar as diferenças entre um documento e outro, ao mesmo tempo em que se comenta a situação vivenciada por alunos no período.

Chronically connected? Internet use among adolescents with chronic conditions.

Little is known about Internet use among adolescents with chronic conditions (CCs). Our results indicate that CC females, but not males, are more likely to be heavy Internet users than their peers. CC youths are also more likely to visit health-related web sites, but less frequently than other sites.

Droit d'auteur sur internet: le cadre juridique actuel est-il suffisant?

Selon un rapport du Conseil fédéral publié en novembre 2011, le droit d'auteur actuel serait adapté à l'ère numérique. Un examen critique de cette conclusion montre qu'il n'en est rien. En effet, le droit positif ne peut pas être mis en oeuvre, pour des raisons qui dépassent de loin la problématique de la protection des données ayant fait l'objet de l'arrêt Logistep. D'une part, il est difficile de prouver les atteintes au droit d'auteur sur internet. D'autre part, les sanctions civiles pécuniaires d'infractions au droit d'auteur sont peu adaptées lorsque des oeuvres sont mises en ligne à titre gratuit.
