Comparação entre as habilidades motoras de chutar e rebater em crianças do primeiro ano do ensino fundamental

This research analyzes the development of motor skills of kicking andhitting 60 children, six years old, from three schools in the city of Bauru. Thestudents were videotaped performing the task of kicking and hitting. Thecollected data were analyzed by three independent evaluators who rated theskills in development stages (early, elementary and mature), following thecharacteristics presented by Gallahue and Ozmun (2005), adding two morecategories: beginner / intermediate, elementary / intermediate. The resultsshowed that there were differences between the skills of kicking and hitting.This may be related to cultural aspects. Also found that most children havenot reached the mature stage of development the two skills, which is contraryto that expected in the literature.

O ensino de Filosofia no Brasil: história e perspectivas para o filosofar

The following article has as the main concern and tendency to think and offer some ideas on the Teaching of Philosophy in Brazil and historically conceptions constructed about the philosophy, this constituting itself a challenge to Brazilian education and the formation of people. It is pertinent to the conciliation in the Teaching of Philosophy, from the History of Philosophy, the philosophize and not to join immediately to philosophical systems and their conceptions, but that is structured from the real problems of each situation and experienced in education space and society in general as an macrostructure that requires reflection about your problems. Note that, during the 500 years of education in Brazil, especially in this aspect of Teaching Philosophy characteristics with respect to the concerns and the philosophical problems have been modified, initially, a more obedient to the rules, passing, sometime later, the valorization of polemic and, finally, the systematization of reality and reflection of the real problems faced by a society such as the Brazilian. In this sense, it is proposed to understand and analyze the Teaching of Philosophy in both, the primary and secondary education and, especially, in the university.

Manuais Didáticos e literatura infantil: as leituras infantis no Brasil e em Portugal

The school textbook is an important pedagogic resource in the classroom, and it is frequently the only one. But, an analysis of the Maternal Language’s textbooks in Brazil and in Portugal allowed us to detect serious didactic obstacles to the learning of the language in its semiotic omnifuncionality. In this paper we are going to present the results of a project that involves the presence of a children’s literature book in the classroom instead of the textbook adaptations. We developed activities before, during and after the reading in a fourth grade class of an Elementary School in Brazil and Portugal having the aim of build readers.

The objective of this article was to argue how to use images (as films, photos and paintings) and lyrics of musics (as rap) to teach History of the African and Afro- Brazilian culture in classroom. Demonstrating how the procedures had been worked in classroom, at Municipal School of Basic Education (EMEF) “Maria Pavanatti Favaro”, located in Campinas City, in the State of São Paulo-Brazil, and the results that had been reached with the use of those resources.

Filosofia da Educação no Brasil: concepções, impasses e desafios para a sua constituição como campo de pesquisa e o seu ensino nasduas últimas décadas

This article analyses the constitutions of the Philosophy of Education’s field in Brazil, from 1990 to the present day, with the purpose of analyzing the genealogy of his “crisis” as a discipline, discussing the dilemmas of its development and to indicate their main challenges today. For such purposes, by means of a genealogical method, we analyze the conceptions of philosophy of education drawn from the theoretical perspective, as well as rebuild historically the clashes caused about certain topics and, particularly, about the human formation. We conclude that the thematic shifts produced and the proliferation of those perspectives were responsible for producing lands to the dialogue between them, however, this strategy does not alleviate some problems of Philosophy of Education in Brazil, demonstrating the presence of two philosophical traditions in the current debate and demanding position of those who work in this field of research and teaching in relation to them.

A anatomia e o ensino de anatomia no Brasil: a escola boveriana

There is little scholarly research on the history, teaching and research of human anatomy in Brazil. A broader vision of the progress of anatomy under different circumstances in the country is virtually non-existent, leaving researchers keen to study the subject insecure. This is compounded by the fact that the data available are not always reliable. This text retraces the development of the discipline of anatomy and its research and education in Brazil in general and São Paulo state in particular, which can largely be reduced to the action of the self-proclaimed Boverian school of anatomy, founded by Italian physician Alfonso Bovero at the same time as the Medical Faculty of the University of São Paulo.

Oficinas de férias experimentando genética: avaliação e contribuições para aprendizagem de alunos do ensino médio

Podemos observar que muitos jovens estão dispostos a mudar o mundo, porém, em contraste a essa afirmação, dados demonstram que ainda é grande o número evasão dos mesmos durante o Ensino Médio. Esse fato pode ser atribuído a diferentes motivos: a violência e ingresso na criminalidade, convivência familiar conflitante, má qualidade de ensino, falta de interesse ou a necessidade de trabalhar para ajudar a família ou a si próprio. Outro fator que contribui com a evasão escolar, é a falta de estímulos aos professores que, em geral, vêm sendo desestimulados pela baixa remuneração ou salários pouco atraentes, ausência de um plano de carreira promissor e recompensador, falta de infraestrutura adequada nas escolas e a falta de valorização profissional perante a sociedade, o que, por consequência, desestimula também o ingresso de jovens recém-formados na carreira da licenciatura. Nesse sentido, a necessidade de mecanismos que resgatem a qualidade do ensino nas escolas é eminente e a Universidade pode desempenhar um papel importante, pois representa uma fonte geradora de conhecimento e tecnologia, que nem sempre chegam à população. Assim a difusão de conhecimento e tecnologia, no Ensino Médio, representa um passo promissor na popularização da ciência e o início para a busca do interesse dos jovens ao conhecimento científico e suas tecnologias, através de oficinas e exposições que tem contribuído para a divulgação científica. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de avaliar a apreciação dos alunos do Ensino Médio que participaram de oficinas de férias propostas pelo Projeto de Extensão “Difundindo e popularizando a Ciência”. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de sistematizações das respostas coletadas junto aos alunos que expressaram suas concepções sobre as oficinas a partir de formulários específicos.
