Os indicadores da qualidade na educação infantil e sua aplicabilidade

Este estudo teve como objetivo experiênciar a aplicabilidade dos Indicadores da Qualidade na Educação Infantil, documento elaborado pelo Ministério da Educação e Cultura (MEC) em 2009, por meio da Secretaria de Educação Básica e em parceria com a ação Educativa, a Fundação ORSA, a União Nacional dos Dirigentes Municipais de Educação (UNDIME) e o Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância (UNICEF). Observamos a possibilidade de utilização na avaliação de uma escola de educação infantil e sua contribuição para a efetiva melhoria da qualidade do ensino da instituição. Utilizamos na realização da pesquisa, uma abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, utilizando como instrumentos de coleta de dados, os questionários e levantamento bibliográfico, em uma escola pública de Educação Infantil do município de Rio Claro/SP, onde aplicamos os indicadores da qualidade. Posteriormente os dados coletados foram analisados para análise e elucidação das possibilidades e desafios da aplicação dos Indicadores da Qualidade na Educação Infantile também sua potencialidade como instrumento de avaliação da qualidade da escola

As novas tendências da gestão escolar no Brasil nas últimas décadas

Atualmente versam no campo da educação inúmeras discussões, dentre elas a questão da gestão escolar e sua atuação nas instituições de ensino, públicas, privadas ou outras. Um aspecto, portanto que inquieta esta pesquisa, são os estudos sobre administração escolar e quais são as novas tendências da gestão escolar para atenderem as exigências da sociedade moderna. Paira sobre tal inquietação a necessidade de identificar, descrever e refletir sobre o que os novos estudiosos da administração escolar têm pensado sobre as formas atuais de se administrar as instituições de ensino nas últimas décadas. Para tanto, uma pesquisa bibliográfica norteará este trabalho, tornando possível conhecer e refletir sobre tais pensamentos, para beneficiar a todos os gestores, educadores e indivíduos diretamente envolvidos no processo educacional das instituições de ensino

A gestão democrática em uma escola de educação de jovens e adultos

This paper addresses the democratic school management within the school organizations. For this, initially made brief remarks on labor relations, the development of administrative and organizational theories. Later, we reflect on how the se labor relations are organized in the educational environment and what education theoretical contributions to the development of school management in Brazil. Therefore, we discuss the Brazilian educational policies that postulate and legitimate democratic school management. Studies of everyday guided the theoretical basis of this work, we wonder what school subject dealing with the discourse of democratic and participative management. Forward the hypothesis that participatory management should be a prominent space in schools, the aim of this study was to investigate the school management of a municipal school of Youth and Adult Education, which brings in your organization pedagogical foundation and educational principles espoused by Paul Freire. The specific objectives of the study are: a) to investigate and describe how is the organization's management of school youth and adults; b) understand the role of managers; c) check how teachers and administrators understand the process of managing this school. From a methodological point of view the daily life of the studies led this work to procedures and qualitative analysis of ethnographic referring to practices that have occurred in adult education school along with the theoretical foundation. Participated in this research members of the school management group and four teachers of Youth and Adult Education rooms. The results obtained showed that dialogue and democracy go together, that the school is an organization with different world views, which need to be primarily present in the identity of the schools. A importância da mediação: a situação do professor mediador escolar e comunitário na Rede Estadual Paulista de Ensino

This study aims to analyze the implementation of mediation in the school environment of São Paulo State Education Network through the figure of Teacher School and Community Mediator (PMEC). Mediation arises, as an alternative and effective method for conflict resolution from existing interpersonal relationships at school. The methodology used was the exploratory and empirical research literature on the subject mediation and the analysis of the resolutions of the Secretariat of São Paulo State Education establishing the School Protection System (SPE) and made possible the performance of the PMEC within that environment. Authors like Bonafé-Schmitt (2010); Caetano, Freire and Ferreira (2009); Calcaterra (2002); Freire (2010); Jares (2002); Lederach (1996); Littlejohn and Domenici (1999); Morgado and Oliveira (2009); Torremorell (2008) and Vecchi and Greco (1999) were selected in order to provide greater familiarity with the subject mediation and conflict mediation later in the school environment. The concept of mediation, mediation templates and profiles of mediators will be explained as well as PMEC function features as regards the selection methods training main assisted cases, assignments that are stipulated by the guiding documents and what actually happens in daily practice verified the reports obtained through a semi-structured interview. Finally, we present the PMEC situation regarding the review by the leaders and attended school community and the acceptance of their work within that environment

Quanto a infraestrutura da escola influencia a aprendizagem?

Até que ponto a falta de infraestrutura pode atrapalhar a aprendizagem de crianças e jovens? Ainda não existe uma resposta definitiva para esta pergunta, feita há várias décadas por especialistas em educação em todo mundo, mas pesquisadores da FGV começaram uma série de estudos sobre o tema denominada Universo Escolar.

O processo gerencial de uma organização filantrópica : um estudo de caso

Trata-se de um estudo de caso, realizado no Círculo Operário Caxiense, entidade sem fins lucrativos, de caráter filantrópico, localizada em Caxias do Sul. O estudo desenvolveu-se por meio de pesquisa, baseada em entrevistas semi-estruturadas, e identificou a estrutura organizacional com o objetivo de obter informações quanto à forma de conduzir as decisões, averiguando se as mesmas, quando tomadas, levaram em consideração somente os aspectos sociais que seriam atingidos pelas decisões ou analisavam os aspectos econômicos e financeiros da entidade: ou seja, pode a instituição, sem informações de cunho econômico e financeiro, tomar decisões de aplicação de recursos em ações sociais? Como se trata de entidade de cunho filantrópico, que mantém uma série de atividades ligadas à saúde, tais como Odontologia, Psicologia, Planos de Saúde, entre outras, das quais a principal nos últimos seis anos é a administração de um hospital geral, este estudo analisará se a dinâmica e complexidade dos mundos hospitalares (Mintzberg, 1997) pode ser aplicada a toda a instituição em modelo adaptado, com a finalidade de identificar melhor a estrutura organizacional.

O que fazer com os rudes? Isaías Alves e as divergências sobre o papel da inteligência na organização escolar (1930-1942)

Entre 1930 e 1942, período em que esta pesquisa se concentra, Isaías Alves participou do debate sobre a política educacional a ser adotada pelo Brasil. Também atuou em diversas instâncias de organização e administração pública como a Diretoria Geral de Instrução Pública do Rio de Janeiro e a Secretaria de Educação e Saúde da Bahia. Este educador, no entanto, ficou conhecido por suas atividades posteriores a 1942, quando fundou a Faculdade de Filosofia da Bahia. Esta pesquisa investiga a trajetória de Isaías Alves e suas experiências desenvolvidas com testes de inteligência nas escolas primárias, que serve como ponto de partida para explorar sua atuação como educador e como intelectual. Ao mesmo tempo, explora o debate gerado em torno da adoção dessa ferramenta de avaliação, que prometia transformar o ambiente escolar ao uniformizar as classes escolares a partir do potencial de aprendizagem de cada criança, a ser aferido pelos testes. Essa discussão se insere no contexto de expansão do sistema educacional brasileiro, que tinha dentre seus objetivos aumentar a eficiência escolar. Assim, o uso de testes de inteligência nas escolas se apresentou como um dos caminhos para aperfeiçoar o ensino no país.
