This paper studies the influence of cynic philosophy in the construction of the myth of the good savage. In the first part it studies the importance of cynicism in the XVI century and how the cynic influence of Erasmus, More and Montaigne was fundamental to the way that Europe approached the American indigenous. In the second part it studies the cynic motives that could have influenced in the construction of the myth of the good savage.

This paper explores the problem of the synthesis between vitalism and rationalism, in contemporary philosophy. With this aim, we compare the intellectual careers of Georges Canguilhem (1904-1995) and José Ortega y Gasset (1883-1955). We contrast their conceptions of philosophy as “hybrid” knowledge, closely related to science, as well as their points of view on Vitalism, anthropology, the technique and the perspectivism. To avoid that comparison is purely abstract and ahistorical, we use the method of the sociology of philosophy. This forces us to locate both paths in their respective philosophical fields and generational units, also according to his social background and professional career.

La presente investigación trata de poner énfasis en la importancia del paisaje en Deserto Rosso de Michelangelo Antonioni, erigiéndose este como elemento fundamental de la trama argumental del filme. Partiendo de esta premisa, se analiza el significado de dicho paisaje en el contexto socioartístico de los años 60. La interacción del hombre con su entorno parece ser el punto de partida para una reflexión más profunda sobre el devenir humano. Las nuevas conquistas estéticas alcanzadas y el análisis históricoartístico de los precedentes más inmediatos del filme, sitúan a Deserto Rosso como obra cumbre de la neovanguardia posmoderna europea.

The aim of this study is the dissertation and analysis of the influence (sociological, psychological and cultural) exerted on adolescents by the concept of Apocalypse. Become a key thought of visual culture, the called doomsday theory achieves one of its highest expressions in video games, possibly the favorite entertainment for young people in their leisure time. The results obtained in this research represent a first approach to the subject through the selected samples, two secondary schools from the city of Seville with disparate locations and divergent socioeconomic backgrounds. To reinforce the comparative study, we have included issues related to parental control, principal gaming platforms used by respondents or the number of hours dedicated to this type of entertainment. The conclusions demonstrate an irremediable attraction from our youth towards apocalyptic universes, plotter consciously with leisure and entertainment as escape from their routine of everyday life.

Pío Collivadino was a highly recognized painter in life, occupying the most important charges in the artistic field and receiving awards in his country and abroad, which turned him into an inescapable reference of young Argentinean artists who earned recognition throughout the twentieth century. Why, then, with the time, his work began to fall to the wayside? In response to this question, the present article, based on the analysis of the work of that artist, proposes to problematize the notion of subjectivity, both in its individual dimension and its national character, underlining the role that the figure of the artist meets for its formation. Developing the concepts of light-color and body-mass, from Collivadino painting, this article will attempt to explain the relation between the emergence of an Argentinean subjectivity, at the beginning of 20th century, and the art, not only at the level of the issues addressed, but, especially, taking into consideration its formal characteristics.

Young people are less explored in museum audience research; this is a paradoxical situation when considering its strategic location in the cultural reproduction and if considering the high performing cultural consumption compared with other sectors. The phenomenon of museums consumption by young Chileans who are self recognized as public and non-public museums is explored from a qualitative approach. It was conducted with focus groups in the three largest cities in Chile (Santiago, Valparaíso and Concepción). They identify the museum as a cultural institution in full force. However, in questioning museums activity youth reveal the specificity of their cultural matrix. This is referred to a social temporality based on the fragment, the discourse of familiarity, proximity and instead of breaking and critical. They claim a museum aesthetic / historical experience based on pleasure and enjoyment. An overview is proposed to further clarify the youth cultural consumption to characterize more precisely the place of the museum in the set, to design more effective policies museums.

In this paper, we postulate the direct relationship that exists between waste production and artistic objects; its manufacturing system, consumption, and subsequent waste. What arises in this relationship then, is another character of interest –and that will serve as a reference to compare its modus operandi with the place of artists and the arts–, in this sick world, the Diogenes. The obsessed that lives among the garbage. The absurdity of the conquest of the infinite of the illogical within the logical. The amount clouded and blinded, nothing is enjoyed, nothing is appreciated; the countless abandons its place in the memory –memorable– and there only exists a pathological accumulation, mountains of garbage, desires to hold on to vital faith of the belief of doing Something for themselves. Working just to work and building something that will not last, like a sand castle, accumulation of detritus and dust. A new logic is born, the enjoyment of diseases and emptiness, the destruction of a world without a history. «Artists of the world, abandon! You have nothing to lose but your own professions!» (Kaprow, 2007, p. 37).

This article is the result of a research that analyzes the most important artistic proposals of Visual Arts in Ecuador, since the second half of the twentieth century to the present. Through literature review and data collection held in the city of Guayaquil, we could determine their influence and impact on the circuit of contemporary art. The instruments used for data collection were depth interviews that were done to experts in the field. Like surveys of attendees at different artistic events (exhibitions, permanent exhibitions, seminars), allowed to establish the social interests of those proposals. The methodology was mixed approach, quantitative and qualitative data were used.

El trabajo de investigación que se presenta a continuación, es la exposición de los conocimientos adquiridos tras cinco años de estudios en la carrera de Ingeniería Comercial. La investigación propone un estudio de factibilidad para la creación de una empresa dedicada al servicio de información para el área de entretenimiento a través de operadora de telefonía celular en la ciudad de Quito. La empresa “ALGR INTEGRATED COMMUNICATIONS E.U.R.L”, será reconocida en el mercado por su nombre comercial denominado “E-LINE”, “Entretenimiento en Línea”, lo que permitirá su reconocimiento y posicionamiento de la marca. A través de esta investigación el trabajo se presenta en IV capítulos: el estudio de mercado, estudio técnico, la empresa y organización, estudio financiero y las conclusiones y recomendaciones, capítulos que conforman la estructura básica de evaluación de proyectos de inversión. El capítulo I comprende el estudio de mercado, en el cual se procederá a analizar el comportamiento del mercado mediante la determinación de la oferta y demanda histórica, actual y proyectada a fin de identificar la demanda insatisfecha, estableciendo estrategias de comercialización y precio.

En el mundo, las empresas y países que han incursionado en la industria láctea se han especializado en la elaboración de algún producto específico. Dentro de los principales productos derivados de leche podemos mencionar: leche fluida o fresca, leche en polvo, quesos y otros productos lácteos. Según la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación (FAO) la producción mundial de leche entera en el 2008 alcanzó un volumen de 693,2 millones de toneladas equivalentes en leche, lo que representa un crecimiento de 2,5% respecto al 2007.1

La presente tesis consiste en la creación de una empresa dedicada a la producción y comercialización de quesos en base a leche de cabra, ubicada en la provincia de Pichincha, en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. El principal objetivo es terminar la viabilidad y factibilidad del proyecto en base a la información recolectada y sistematizada de diferentes estudios y evaluaciones, esto permitirá tener un fundamento para tomar decisiones, impactando en el desarrollo de la ganadería caprina en el Ecuador, además de difundir los excelentes beneficios de la leche de cabra. Se lograr recopilar información en base a datos primarios y secundarios, contando a personas inmersas en forma directa en la producción de la leche de cabra y trato de cabras.

El presente proyecto de Estudio de Factibilidad para la creación de una microempresa dedicada a la producción y comercialización de Vino de Litchi en la Ciudad de Quito, es una nueva alternativa de incursionar en el mercado del vino debido a que en nuestro país se dedica más a la importación de vino y tenemos un nicho de mercado que podemos aprovechar. El litchi es originario del sur de China, con una larga historia en ese país, se distingue por producir una fruta grande, roja, con pocas semillas. Se la considera una de las mejores variedades para el proceso de secado de la fruta. No es una fruta muy conocida, se cultiva específicamente en la Costa y se la conoce con el nombre de achotillo comúnmente. Es una fruta que contiene una gran variedad de beneficios para la salud. En el Estudio de Mercado se aplico las encuestas que nos permitieron observar que el consumo de vino en las familias es moderado, pero están dispuestos a consumir otro tipo de vino y mucho más si este ayuda a la salud. Nuestro mercado objetivo son los jefes de hogar que incluye hombres o mujeres de nivel medio alto y alto, ya que ambos tienen la posibilidad de adquirir el producto.
