La imagen percibida del destino turístico Egipto en el mercado español

La elección de un destino está influenciada por las percepciones de los turistas sobre las posibles alternativas. Por esto es importante para los países que desean incrementar su demanda turística, promover una imagen coherente y positiva del destino turístico. También, ser conscientes del poder que tienen las imágenes, por lo que los países deben procurar que sean positivas, para que actúen favorablemente en la fase previa a la decisión de compra de los turistas. Las imágenes, por otra parte, son una manera de tangibilizar el producto, generando así una representación mental del destino en los clientes. El hecho de conocer la imagen que tienen los turistas sobre el destino, ayuda a tener información suficiente para innovar y mejorar permanentemente la calidad de productos turísticos del país. Con este trabajo se pretende conocer los puntos fuertes de la imagen del destino turístico Egipto para desarrollarlos, y los puntos débiles del mismo para poder establecer una estrategia para cambiar o mejorar

La atenuación en artículos de revisión odontológicos en español: estudio exploratorio

Describimos el uso de estrategias de atenuación en 40 artículos de revisión (AR), publicados en español en revistas iberoamericanas entre 1994 y 2004. Identificamos las estrategias empleadas en las secciones retóricas por medio de un análisis contextual de género y clasificamos los atenuantes en cinco categorías: construcciones impersonales, deícticos temporales, aproximadores, escudos y atenuantes compuestos. Los resultados muestran que hay abundantes y variadas estrategias de atenuación en las tres secciones retóricas del AR, aunque son más frecuentes en el desarrollo y en la introducción. Predomina el modal epistémico “poder”, los adverbios y los adjetivos de posibilidad y probabilidad, y los verbos epistémicos. Registramos varias construcciones impersonales empleadas para atenuar. Los aproximadores se usan para expresar honestidad y varios niveles de certidumbre en las proposiciones; los deícticos temporales, para expresar provisionalidad y sugerir varias interpretaciones. Concluimos que la atenuación puede estar relacionada con la posición de los autores en la comunidad científica y con las características del AR como género discursivo. Asimismo, el nivel de expectativa en la escritura de este género podría condicionar cómo se presentan las proposiciones.

Sobre las fronteras retóricas del español escrito

El artículo explora la presencia de elementos culturales y retóricos procedentes de la lengua nativa (L1) de un autor en sus escritos en segunda lengua (L2). Se resumen y comentan varias investigaciones de la Retórica Contrastiva, los Nuevos Estudios de Literacidad y la Traductología, que analizan las estrategias usadas por autores y traductores para ocultar o mostrar aspectos de su L1 en sus escritos en L2. También se analizan dos casos de escritura académica (de un latino que escribe en inglés y un quechua que lo hace en español), que aportan ejemplos de extralimitaciones en la corrección y de ocultación de rasgos culturales relevantes. Esos datos y las teorías permiten reflexionar sobre la gestión de la retórica y la cultura en los textos de los plurilingües, tanto desde una óptica de la construcción de la identidad como de la corrección de textos en clase.

Definir el anarquismo supone hablar de un horizonte ideológico profundamente dispar quenos obliga a considerarlo en plural. Sería erróneo, pues, tratarlo como un pensamientouniforme y homogéneo precisamente por las premisas que lo constituye. El desprecio a laautoridad, su crítica sentimental de la sociedad y sus utópicos objetivos —que no por elloirrealizables— componen el marco común en el que se postulan diversas doctrinas. Pero,pese a su diversidad, ¿cómo conciliar el hecho de que un pensamiento político cuyas basesfilosóficas se sustentan en la fe en el progreso científico, el pacifismo o la bondad naturaldel hombre adoptara la propaganda por el hecho como vehículo de sus protestas y germende la revolución social? Es precisamente la moral anarquista la que, en su juicio de lahumanidad, cree en la necesidad de erigir una sociedad al margen de las instituciones yaexistentes.
