Alterações na estabilidade estrutural do solo após adubação verde.

Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a estabilidade estrutural do solo cultivado com melão (Cucumis melo L.), após a utilização de diferentes adubos verdes e dois tipos de manejo do solo. O estudo foi realizado em solo de textura média/argilosa, classificado como Argissolo Vermelho Amarelo distrófico plíntico. O delineamento estatístico constituiu-se de blocos ao acaso em esquema de parcelas subdivididas, sendo as mesmas compostas por dois sistemas de manejo ? com revolvimento (CR) e sem revolvimento (SR), e as subparcelas por três tipos de adubos verdes (dois coquetéis vegetais (CV1 ? 75% leguminosas + 25% não-leguminosas; CV2 ? 75% não- leguminosas + 25% leguminosas) ? e vegetação espontânea (VE). O uso de coquetéis vegetais, por quatro ciclos de cultivo, aumentou a proporção de agregados nas clases de maior tamanho (2 mm a 0,25 mm). A incorporação da palhada aumentou a proporção de agregados com menor diâmetro (? 0,125 mm).

Caracterização estrutural e funcional da subfamília gênica ARR-tipo B em macieira

A produtividade de pomares de macieira está estritamente relacionada ao processo de superação da dormência, o qual se caracteriza pela inabilidade do crescimento meristemático mesmo sob condições favoráveis. Embora eventos fisiológicos deste processo tenham sido elucidados, aspectos moleculares ainda são pouco compreendidos. A busca por elementos cis de regulação em genes DAM (Dormancy Associated MADS-box) de macieira revelou a presença de sítios de ligação a fatores de transcrição denominados Arabidopsis Response Regulators (ARR)?tipo B. Estes fatores fazem parte da via de sinalização de citocininas e seu papel na dormência ainda não foi elucidado. Pelo presente trabalho, temos por objetivo compreender a estrutura e a função dos elementos cis e trans associados aos fatores ARR-tipo B de macieira e avaliar se os mesmos podem estar atuando como possíveis repressores do estado dormente da planta.

Partendo dall'analisi del fenomeno della convergenza televisiva, ci soffermiamo sulle modalità di valorizzazione di programmi, serie tv, canali e piattaforme tramite l'uso delle metriche proposte da Auditel e da Netflix. Dopo l'analisi di macrofenomeni, spostiamo il nostro sguardo su casi particolari di serialità televisiva e testi cinematografici prodotti da Netflix. Con Squid Game ci soffermiamo sull'uso comunicativo dei dati e di come Netflix abbia sviluppato un nuovo paradigma nella valorizzazione dei propri contenuti. Mentre con E' stata la mano di Dio ci concetriamo sul ruolo distruttivo di Netflix nei confronti della sala come tradizionale luogo di prima definizione del valore economico di un film.

PROMOVENDO ESTRATÉGIAS DE ENFRENTAMENTO À VIOLÊNCIA INTRADOMICILIAR JUNTO AOS ADOLESCENTES DA UBSF 08, MUNICÍPIO ESTRUTURAL, BRASÍLIA- DF

Introdução: Para as agendas mundiais do século XXI, um dos problemas mais importantes é sem dúvida a violência. O Banco Mundial e a Organização Pan-americana da Saúde (OPS), falam que apresentará caráter de Pandemia. O abuso de crianças e adolescentes é um fenômeno que não conhece fronteiras, raças ou classes sociais. Cerca de 20% das crianças e adolescentes submetidas a abuso físico sofre danos permanentes e morrem a cada ano por essa causa. No Brasil, 2003, os acidentes e as violências constituíram-se a terceira causa de óbitos no quadro da mortalidade geral no estado de São Paulo. Nas idades de 5 a 19 anos constituíram-se na primeira causa de óbitos ocorridos por todas as causas nessas faixas etárias. Ou seja, a gravidade desse problema atinge toda a infância e adolescência, e as lesões e traumas físicos, sexuais e emocionais que sofrem, embora nem sempre sejam fatais, deixam sequelas em seus corpos e mentes por toda a vida. Em Brasília/DF, na faixa etária de 10 a 14 anos cerca dos 72% dos óbitos são derivados de causas externas; já na faixa de 15 a 19 anos, tal porcentual sobe para 81%. Objetivo: Promover estratégias de enfrentamento da violência intrafamiliar junto aos adolescentes que utilizam os serviços da UBSF 08 entre o período de fevereiro a agosto de 2014 da cidade Estrutural, Brasília – DF. Método: Trate-se de um estudo de intervenção educacional que foi realizado para modificar o conhecimento sobre violência intrafamiliar em adolescentes com idade entre 15 e 19 anos. O universo de estudo foram 97 adolescentes cadastrados na UBSF. A amostra foi selecionada através do método aleatório simples (30 adolescentes). A investigação foi dividida em três etapas: Fase diagnóstica, Fase de intervenção, Fase de avaliação. Resultados: Foi conseguido modificar positivamente alguns dos conhecimentos de violência intrafamiliar e promover estratégias de enfrentamento em 97% dos adolescentes que participaram das aulas.

Diretrizes curriculares nacionais para o ensino médio: avaliação de documento

This text offers some contributions to the debate on the changes proposed to the National Curricular Directives to reform secondary education in Brazil. In the first part, the political and economic scene is evaluated as the context which generated the last stage of reforms in the educational field in the 90s. It questions the option for a model of structural reform (in the Brazilian case more restricted to the Program for Reform of Professional Education - PROEP) and of the curriculum, whose themes find their justification in the contemporary economic, social cultural and political context. It discusses the use of a model that bases itself on experiences developed in other countries and takes the international orientation of the multilateral organizations as its theoretical methodological reference, leaving out the peculiarities and injunctions of the Brazilian political administrative system. Such a policy measure can increase the tension and distance normally existing between government programs and the possibility of their real implementation in the school network. In the second part, it discusses the Resolution of the National Education Council, the Congress on Basic Education, no.3, of 16.698 that instituted the National Curricular Directives for secondary education, as well as the Legal Bases - Part I - of the National Curricular Parameters for secondary education. The analysis of official discourse takes Bardin's (1977, p. 209) proposals as its methodological reference for the models of structural analysis, seeking to make the implicit values and the connotations of the legal texts explicit

Adequação de engates rápidos de aspersores como conectores de mangueira para distribuição de água em sulcos de irrigação

As a way to reduce water losses in furrow irrigation systems, used in fresh market tomato production, farmers are improperly distributing water into the field using plastic hose. The objective of this work was to study the suitability of using quick coupler sprinkler as hose connectors for water distribution in tomato plantation. The first step of the study was to assess the current hose field operation for tomato growers. Subsequently, four models of quick couplers sprinklers available in the market were tested in laboratory to determine the coefficient of resistance, the equivalent tube length, the head loss curve and the linking efficiency. As result, a structural design for hose connectors was presented using the model of coupling with the best hydraulic performance. Additionally, some technical recommendations on its use in irrigation water distribution are highlighted. Despite the requirement for additional field trials, the proposed system has potential to optimize the water use efficiency, to improve workers ergonomic conditions, and ensure good profitability to the producer.

Ontogenia e estrutura do pericarpo de Prestonia riedelii (Müll. Arg.) Markgr. (Apocynaceae)

The aim of this work was to describe the morphology and ontogeny of P. riedelii fruits to aid in taxonomic, ecological and phylogenetic studies in Apocynaceae. Fruits were fixed in FAA, embedded in plastic resin, sectioned at 10 ìm and stained with toluidine blue, for structural analysis. The fruit of P. riedelii is a follicarium, with two follicular fruitlets. The epicarp is one-cell-layered, with trichomes and thick cuticle. The mesocarp, originating from fundamental ovary tissue, is parenchymatous with laticifers, non-lignified fibers and vascular bundles. The endocarp sensu lato is two-celllayered of crossed sclereids, originating from the inner ovary epidermis and from a single layer of parenchyma cells of fundamental ovary tissue. Follicle dehiscence is lateral and the dehiscence process involves anatomical characteristics such as a dehiscence zone with thin-walled cells, non-lignified fibers in the mesocarp and crossed sclereids in the endocarp.

Estruturas factivas e padrões de extração

This paper investigates the relationship between structural and semantic properties of factive sentences and the pattern of extraction exhibited. It is argued that a classification as weak or strong island is unfeasible for what has been termed Factive Island. The kinds of structures allowed as factive complements are analyzed as well as their corresponding behavior concerning extraction. The common feature these structures show is their presuppositional character, which is derived from a selection requirement. I assume that factive predicates select a [+ specific] complement. The differences showed concerning extraction constitute a spontaneous effect from the structural way each construction may satisfy this requirement.

Tradução e corpo

The present paper brings about a possible articulation between translation and body from a non-sublimated, pragmatic perspective on meaning, as suggested by Wittgenstein in his Philosophical Investigations. By considering theoretical elaborations within embodied realism and elsewhere on the role of the body in cognitive processes, together with a critique of the concept of translation somatics, as proposed by Douglas Robinson (1991), the paper highlights the situated and social character of the translator's body.

Projeto de caixa de madeira para manga (Mangifera Indica L.)

Losses of horticulture product in Brazil are significant and among the main causes are the use of inappropriate boxes and the absence of a cold chain. A project for boxes is proposed, based on computer simulations, optimization and experimental validation, trying to minimize the amount of wood associated with structural and ergonomic aspects and the effective area of the openings. Three box prototypes were designed and built using straight laths with different configurations and areas of openings (54% and 36%). The cooling efficiency of Tommy Atkins mango (Mangifera Indica L.) was evaluated by determining the cooling time for fruit packed in the wood models and packed in the commercially used cardboard boxes, submitted to cooling in a forced-air system, at a temperature of 6ºC and average relative humidity of 85.4±2.1%. The Finite Element Method was applied, for the dimensioning and structural optimization of the model with the best behavior in relation to cooling. All wooden boxes with fruit underwent vibration testing for two hours (20 Hz). There was no significant difference in average cooling time in the wooden boxes (36.08±1.44 min); however, the difference was significant in comparison to the cardboard boxes (82.63±29.64 min). In the model chosen for structural optimization (36% effective area of openings and two side laths), the reduction in total volume of material was 60% and 83% in the cross section of the columns. There was no indication of mechanical damage in the fruit after undergoing the vibration test. Computer simulations and structural study may be used as a support tool for developing projects for boxes, with geometric, ergonomic and thermal criteria.

Structural aspects of the p.P222Q homozygous mutation of HSD3B2 gene in a patient with congenital adrenal hyperplasia

Type II 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/Δ5-Δ4-isomerase (3β-HSD2), encoded by the HSD3B2 gene, is a key enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of all the classes of steroid hormones. Deleterious mutations in the HSD3B2 gene cause the classical deficiency of 3β-HSD2, which is a rare autosomal recessive disease that leads to congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). CAH is the most frequent cause of ambiguous genitalia and adrenal insufficiency in newborn infants with variable degrees of salt losing. Here we report the molecular and structural analysis of the HSD3B2 gene in a 46,XY child, who was born from consanguineous parents, and presented with ambiguous genitalia and salt losing. The patient carries a homozygous nucleotide c.665C>A change in exon 4 that putatively substitutes the proline at codon 222 for glutamine. Molecular homology modeling of normal and mutant 3β-HSD2 enzymes emphasizes codon 222 as an important residue for the folding pattern of the enzyme and validates a suitable model for analysis of new mutations.

Hemiparesia congênita avaliação neuropsicológica complementar utilizando computador

We present the neuropsychological assessment with computer aid of six cerebral palsy children. Three children had right hemiparesis and three, left hemiparesis. The tomographic examination showed parietal cavities (porencephalic cyst in 4 children, ischemic injury in 1 case and subarachnoid cyst in 1 case). We have proposed to assess the visuo-spatial function since we suspected the children could have disturbance of this function. We did not detect this disturbance. On the other hand, the children had astereognosia and the right hemiparetic children preferred to execute signs on the right part of the computer visor. We discuss and propose explanations for both findings.
