Práticas interdisciplinares no ensino superior: a experiência do curso de graduação em administração da UNAMA - Pará

This work addresses the study of interdisciplinarity in higher administration education, a topic of great relevance in the present context, due to guidelines issued by Ministry of Education through the National Curriculum Guidelines -NCGs for undergraduate courses in Management. The attention on the subject emerges from the gained experience of a researcher and teacher working as manager of an undergraduate course in Business Administration who set up interdisciplinarity through interdisciplinary projects in a management course pedagogical project at a private university in State of Pará/Brazil. The work rebuilds and reports experiences, and studies the practice of lecturers involved in those interdisciplinary actions. The study aimed to identify changes in pedagogical practices of teachers involved in the searched interdisciplinary experience. To address the questions that directed the work and achieve proposed objectives, from a qualitative approach, a significant bibliographical and documentary work was conducted on the topic. In the survey carried out on secondary sources such as publications of major authors and scientific papers reporting interdisciplinary experiences in higher administration education, it was found that interdisciplinarity for its ambiguous character is still poorly understood by teachers, and reports on its application in administration teaching are incipient. This study also used data collected from primary sources, from dialogues through interviews with educational fellows - teachers and officers of the institution that served as locus of the research, who had the opportunity to experience the studied interdisciplinary experience. Data were processed and analyzed using content analysis technique. Research results showed that teachers of the institution of research have a good understanding of meaning of interdisciplinarity as a link between disciplines; it was also found substantial evidence of changes in teaching practices and actions of such teachers based on their participation in interdisciplinary projects. Although the experience studied can be considered innovative and challenging, much needs to be done in the course management for achievement of interdisciplinary actions in the course, particularly regarding to the removal of institutional, methodological, psychosocial, epistemological obstacles in operationalizing interdisciplinary practices, with emphasis on the need of a process of continuous and specific training aiming at developing skills for interdisciplinary acting, to the extent that these education professionals do not perceive themselves able to act as interdisciplinary lecturers

Continuidade dos cuidados de saúde às crianças e jovens com Diabetes - articulação interinstitucional

A efetiva articulação entre os Cuidados de Saúde Primários e Hospitalares apresenta-se como uma estratégia para aumentar os ganhos em saúde, racionalizando os recursos financeiros, a eficiência dos serviços e a satisfação dos utentes. Com o presente projeto, pretendeu-se promover a comunicação entre as equipas de Saúde Escolar do Agrupamento de Centros de Saúde da Arrábida e a Consulta de Diabetes Juvenil do Centro Hospitalar de Setúbal, através da implementação de um protocolo de articulação, com o objetivo de assegurar o continuum dos cuidados de saúde às crianças e jovens acompanhadas na consulta de Diabetes Juvenil. Partindo das necessidades identificadas pelos e com os diversos profissionais de saúde envolvidos pretendeu-se garantir um plano assistencial integrado e desenvolver uma prática de complementaridade com a de outros profissionais de saúde e parceiros comunitários. Adotou-se a metodologia do planeamento em saúde e delinearam-se intervenções que envolveram os diferentes profissionais de saúde, conduzindo à reflexão e discussão sobre o tema, apontando para a mudança nas práticas, consubstanciado por etapas de conhecimento, motivação, apreciação, experimentação e finalmente de adoção; ABSTRACT: Effective coordination between Primary Health Care and Hospital presents itself as a strategy to increase health gains, streamlining financial resources, the efficiency of services and user satisfaction. With this project, the aim was to promote communication between the School Health Team of the Grouping Arrabida Health Centers and Juvenil e Diabetes Consultation of Setúbal Hospital Centre, through the implementation of a joint protocol with the objective of ensure the continuum of health care to children and young people accompanied the Juvenile Diabetes consultation. Starting from the needs identified by and with the various health professionals involved was intended to ensure an integrated care plan and develop a practice of complementarity with other health professionals and community partners. Adopted the planning methodology in health and outlined by interventions involving different health professionals, leading to reflection and discussion on the topic, pointing to the change in practice, embodied by stages of knowledge, motivation, appreciation, experimentation and finally adoption.

A escolarização das crianças de etnia cigana – domínio cognitivo: práticas e representações

Pretendemos, com este estudo, analisar o modo como a escolarização das crianças de etnia cigana e o seu desenvolvimento cognitivo são afetados, entre outros, pelo desfavorecimento sociocultural de que são alvo, justificar a resistência destes alunos a todo o tipo de aprendizagens formais e apurar acerca das representações sociais que envolvem estas comunidades. A escolarização desta minoria, cuja dificuldade é diretamente proporcional ao grau de etnicidade do grupo em estudo, tem vindo a gerar uma crescente preocupação por parte dos vários governos, do que resultou, recentemente, um pedido dos Estados-Membros, à União Europeia, para que elaborasse um Plano Estratégico de Integração das Comunidades Ciganas, onde a Educação é um dos eixos de intervenção. Sendo o professor um elemento primordial no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, cabe-lhe a ele e à instituição onde presta funções, enquanto responsáveis por garantir um ensino de equidade e qualidade, aberto à multi e à interculturalidade, recorrer às práticas pedagógicas e às medidas mais adequadas com vista à estimulação das capacidades cognitivas destes alunos e à efetiva inclusão da diversidade na comunidade escolar. Dos resultados obtidos, as representações da classe docente, face a esta franja social, estão ainda muito marcadas pelo preconceito, pelo estereótipo e pela segregação, embora as responsabilidades sejam bilaterais. Como acontece com qualquer aluno, para que se atinja sucesso na escolarização, torna-se premente uma maior sensibilização das famílias para a utilidade das aprendizagens e uma consequente coresponsabilização pelo percurso dos seus educandos. Surge ainda a questão da legitimidade de avaliar o perfil cognitivo destes alunos, tão específicos do ponto de vista da sua identidade histórica e cultural, pelos mesmos parâmetros dos alunos da sociedade maioritária. Paralelamente, extra escola, há todo um trabalho de concertação ao nível da integração social desta minoria que, quando bem conseguido, se refletirá em termos educativos mas que exige a articulação e o esforço conjunto de várias instâncias, nem sempre dispostas a investir nestas comunidades.

O valor do diploma nas práticas de recrutamento de grandes empresas

Studies show that higher level diplomas make access to well-paid jobs easier and are an important source of prestige and social honor in Brazil. However, a broad literature today indicates a reduction of the importance of the diploma in hiring processes and argues that having a diploma becomes less and less sufficient for getting a job. This article examines the processes of selection of recently graduated engineers by eight large companies in the region of Campinas. Based on interviews with the main actors of the selection processes and on observation of the initial steps of a selection carried out by a consultancy company hired by one of the companies, the study shows that the weight of a diploma from a prestigious university is still the most important variable for the hiring decision, as it defines not only whether it will be possible to get the job or not, but also the access to vacancies that lead to better paid and more prestigious managerial positions. Finally, it discusses theoretical implications as well as what these results suggest in terms of public policies.

Implantação e implementação das normas das Boas Práticas Laboratoriais (BPL) no laboratório de análises de resíduos da Universidade Estadual de Campinas

In the context of quality and good laboratory practices, the article recovers some historical data. From a specific Institutional situation (CPQBA/UNICAMP), is presented an experience of establishing and implementing a standard (NIT-DICLA-035) for good laboratory practice according to definitions of the Brazilian authority (INMETRO) responsible for regulating, monitoring, supervising and recognition in this area. The issue aims to focus on studies of pesticide residues in GLP parameters.

Práticas escolares e desempenho acadêmico de alunos com TDAH

This article reports the results from the research work which objects the critical and profound study about the ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) in the courses for teachers' development in College Education, under its various dimensions - social, cultural, pedagogical, biological. The investigation focused on five adults with diagnosis for ADHD. The methodology used was the Case Study, developed from the Oral History as a source of data. The results that were obtained suggest that the study, proposed in the research, may contribute significantly for the teachers to know determining factors of the school performance of students with this disorder, as well as to guide them in the search of partnership with other professionals - doctors and psychologists, for example - when such partnership becomes necessary.
