A formação do administrador e o papel da empresa júnior: caso FGV/EAESP

Empresas inseridas em um contexto competitivo e dinâmico buscam, por meio de diversas formas e estratégias, sobressaírem sobre as demais. Diferente de como era compreendido, o ambiente de trabalho considera que o empregado não se limita mais a receber e executar instruções. Hoje, esse profissional é valorizado pelas suas competências e, mais ainda, pela forma como ele as mobiliza. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo buscou analisar a percepção dos alunos da FGV-EAESP sobre como a formação diferenciada, por meio da atuação em empresa júnior, contribui no desenvolvimento de competências profissionais do formando em administração de empresas. Foi utilizado como aporte teórico a literatura sobre aprendizagem e competências. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa possui uma abordagem qualitativa e interpretativista. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevistas, de forma semiestruturadas, com trinta e um respondentes, composto por alunos e egressos da Instituição de Ensino. Para a análise dos dados coletados, foi utilizado a técnica de análise de conteúdo, gerando catorze categorias intermediárias e cinco categorias finais. Como resultados, foram identificados, objetivamente, como se dá aprendizagem e desenvolvimento de competências profissionais dentro do contexto de aprendizagem proporcionado pela EJ, bem como quais delas são relevantes para atuação no mercado de trabalho.

O ECLIPSE DO CRISTIANISMO PROFÉTICO A UTOPIA CRISTÃ DE DOM HELDER CAMARA À LUZ DA SOCIOLOGIA DE HENRI DESROCHE

Este estudo tem a intenção de apresentar o cristianismo profético que caracterizou parte do catolicismo brasileiro nas décadas de 1950 a 1970 e que nas décadas seguintes sofreu a ofensiva dos poderes governamentais, ditatoriais e eclesiásticos que ocasionaram seu eclipse no cenário religioso e social do país. Uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a situação histórica e social e sobre os referenciais teóricos da sociologia da esperança de Henri Desroche e dos tipos ideais (profeta, sacerdote e mago) de Max Weber, cujo antagonismo foi aprofundado por Pierre Bourdieu, orientou a análise deste processo de ocultamento. A hipótese central é a de que o Eclipse do Cristianismo Profético segue a dinâmica dos movimentos marginais e utópicos que pululam na história da humanidade e que foram elencados e analisados pela sociologia da religião de Henri Desroche, especialmente na parte dedicada aos homens da espera. O estudo de caso sobre o itinerário eclesial e humanitário de dom Helder Camara iluminará, de modo existencial, o percurso do eclipse deste cristianismo social.

Citoarquitetura e imunoistoquímica para tirosinahidroxilase dos núcleos dopaminérgicos mesencefálicos do morcego (Artibeus planirostris)

The 3-Hidroxytyramine/dopamine (DA) is a monoamine of catecholamine family and isthe precursor substance synthesis of noradrenaline and adrenaline, having the enzymeTyrosine Hydroxylase (TH) as this regulatory process. In addition, the DA has theability to act as a neurotransmitter in the Central Nervous System - SNC, being themain neurotransmitter of brain nuclei, namely of A8 to A16. The nuclei of the midbrainthat express DA are the Retrorubral Field (RRF, A8), the Substantia Nigra parsCompacta (SNc, A9) and the Ventral Tegmental Area (VTA, A10). Such nuclei areinvolved in complex three circuitry that are the mesostriatal, mesolimbic andmesocotical and are directly related with several behavioral manifestations as motricitycontrol, reward signaling in behavioral learning, motivation and pathologicalconditions, such as Parkinson's Disease and schizophrenia. Interestingly, many of themorphological bases of these neural disturbance remain unknown. Considering therelevance of mesencephalic dopaminergic nuclei, the aim of this research is tocharacterize morphologically the dopaminergic nuclei (clusters A8, A9 and A10) of themidbrain of the bat (Artibeus planirostris). The Artibeus planirostris is a common bat inRio Grande do Norte. Ten animals were used in this research. The animals wereanesthetized, perfused, and the brain was removed from the skull. After dehydration insucrose, the brain was underwent microtomy. Saggital and coronal sections wereobtained and collected in six separate series. The series were Nissl-stained to identifythe cytoarchitectonic boundaries and the other series were subjected toimmunohistochemistry for TH. After cytoarchitectonic analysis and TH+ cellsidentification was possible to establish the anatomical boundaries of the nuclei, as wellas the subdivisions of three of the midbrain dopaminergic nuclei. The SNc is the mostrostral nucleus observed in the midbrain and is identified throughout the rostrocaudalextension of the midbrain. The VTA neurons were seen immediately caudal to the SNcappearance. The RRF neurons were observed just in the caudal levels of the midbrain.The SNc in Artibeus planirostris shows a particular feature, the tail of the SNc. The tailhave been described just in two other studied species. The present work shows aparticular variation in the organizational morphology of the SNc in the artibeus andcontribute to understand the phylogenetic routes by which the dopaminergic system hasevolved.

Desenvolvimento de uma Metodologia para a Seletividade cinética aplicada ao processo de hidroconversão do petróleo, ocorrendo em reator gás-líquido

Este trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver uma metodologia de seletividade cinética, para os pseudocomponentes do petróleo em escoamento gás-liquido em colunas de bolhas usando a Fluidodinâmica Computacional (CFD). Uma geometria cilíndrica de 2,5m de altura e 0,162m de diâmetro foi usada tanto na validação fluidodinâmica com base em dados experimentais da literatura, como na análise cinética do reator operando em dois modos distintos em relação a fase líquida: batelada e contínuo. Todos os casos de estudo operam em regime heterogêneo de escoamento, com velocidade superficial do gás igual a 8 cm/s e diâmetro médio de bolhas de 6 mm. O modelo fluidodinâmico validado apresentou boa concordância com os dados experimentais, sendo empregado como base para a implementação do modelo cinético de rede de Krishna e Saxena (1989). A análise da hidroconversão foi realizada a 371ºC, e os resultados mostraram o comportamento esperado para o processo reativo estudado, definindo-se os tempos (batelada) e posições axiais (contínuo) de coleta ideal para os pseudocomponentes leves. Em síntese, ressaltase o uso da ferramenta CFD no entendimento, desenvolvimento e otimização de processos.

"Em Português, Se Faz Favor", de Helder Guégués

«A filha de um gramático deu à luz, após amorosa união, / uma criança do género masculino, feminino e neutro.» Depois de ler Em Português, Se Faz Favor (da editora Guerra e Paz, 2015), lembrei-me deste epigrama de Páladas (poeta de Alexandria, dos finais do séc. IV d.C.). Também Helder Guégués (não é engano, tem mesmo dois acentos), revisor de texto, encara a língua com humor e ironia, mas sempre com muita seriedade. São assim os seus comentários nos blogues (de que sou leitora assídua) que manteve (Assim Mesmo) e mantém (Linguagista) e nos quais se inspirou para muitas das entradas deste Guia Fundamental para Escrever bem, de subtítulo. Aí, onde o objetivo não é serem um tira-teimas da língua portuguesa, Helder Guégués é muito divertido, pela mordacidade com que critica os erros que vai lendo nos jornais e nos livros ou ouvindo na rádio e na televisão, muitas vezes nem explicando que erro é esse. Porém, nesta obra que não é para especialistas, mas que se dirige «antes a todos os falantes comuns que querem e precisam, exprimir-se melhor em português» (p.21), o autor contém um pouco o sarcasmo, tem o cuidado de explicar o que está errado e indica a forma correta. O livro tem exemplos de vários tipos (géneros, numerais, regências verbais, etc.), como se pode ver pelo índice, dos quais aqui vou apresentar apenas alguns, para ficarmos com uma ideia do que podemos aprender.

"Só colaboro na minha morte", Herberto Helder (1930-2015)

Na minha biblioteca tenho alguns livros de Herberto Helder (vários de Poesia Toda, que nunca é toda), um poeta que comecei a amar já tarde (já passava eu dos 30 anos), poeta preferido de algumas pessoas que me são muito queridas, que me ensinaram a descobri-lo e a lê-lo. Como pouco poderia acrescentar ao que tanto já foi dito e escrito aquando da sua recente morte, fica aqui uma seleção, pessoalíssima, da sua poesia.

With the high oil price variability, the petroleum and the reservoir engineers are usually face to face on how they can evaluate the well performance and productivity. They can improve high productivity from the well construction to the secondary recoveries, but they have never tried a measurement in the drilling operations about the lower productivity index. As a rule, frequently the drilling operations hear from the reservoir engineering and geology that, if there is a formation damage, probably some drilling operations practices were not done properly or the good practice in petroleum engineering or mud engineering were not observed. The study in this working search is an attempt of how to measure a formation damage just from the project drilling to the drilling operations, with datum from the fields in Brazilian northeast and putting into practice a Simulator developed from the modeling on the theory offered by different experts and sources in formation damage

Anti-proliferative and cytotoxic activity of pentadactylin isolated from Leptodactylus labyrinthicus on melanoma cells

Nowadays, the emergence of resistance to the current available chemotherapeutic drugs by cancer cells makes the development of new agents imperative. The skin secretion of amphibians is a natural rich source of antimicrobial peptides (AMP), and researchers have shown that some of these wide spectrum molecules are also toxic to cancer cells. The aim of this study was to verify a putative anticancer activity of the AMP pentadactylin isolated for the first time from the skin secretion of the frog Leptodactylus labyrinthicus and also to study its cytotoxic mechanism to the murine melanoma cell line B16F10. The results have shown that pentadactylin reduces the cell viability of B16F10 cells in a dose-dependent manner. It was also cytotoxic to normal human fibroblast cells; nevertheless, pentadactylin was more potent in the first case. The studies of action mechanism revealed that pentadactylin causes cell morphology alterations (e.g., round shape and shrinkage morphology), membrane disruption, DNA fragmentation, cell cycle arrest at the S phase, and alteration of mitochondrial membrane potential, suggesting that B16F10 cells die by apoptosis. The exact mechanism that causes reduction of cell viability and cytotoxicity after treatment with pentadactylin is still unknown. In conclusion, as cancer cells become resilient to death, it is worthwhile the discovery of new drugs such as pentadactylin that induces apoptosis.

The crude skin secretion of the pepper frog leptodactylus labyrinthicus is rich in metallo and serine peptidases

Peptidases are ubiquitous enzymes involved in diverse biological processes. Fragments from bioactive peptides have been found in skin secretions from frogs, and their presence suggests processing by peptidases. Thus, the aim of this work was to characterize the peptidase activity present in the skin secretion of Leptodactylus labyrinthicus. Zymography revealed the presence of three bands of gelatinase activity of approximately 60 kDa, 66 kDa, and 80 kDa, which the first two were calcium-dependent. These three bands were inhibited either by ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and phenathroline; thus, they were characterized as metallopeptidases. Furthermore, the proteolytic enzymes identified were active only at pH 6.0–10.0, and their activity increased in the presence of CHAPS or NaCl. Experiments with fluorogenic substrates incubated with skin secretions identified aminopeptidase activity, with cleavage after leucine, proline, and alanine residues. This activity was directly proportional to the protein concentration, and it was inhibited in the presence of metallo and serine peptidase inhibitors. Besides, the optimal pH for substrate cleavage was determined to be 7.0–8.0. The results of the in gel activity assay showed that all substrates were hydrolyzed by a 45 kDa peptidase. Gly-Pro-AMC was also cleaved by a peptidase greater than 97 kDa. The data suggest the presence of dipeptidyl peptidases (DPPs) and metallopeptidases; however, further research is necessary. In conclusion, our work will help to elucidate the implication of these enzymatic activities in the processing of the bioactive peptides present in frog venom, expanding the knowledge of amphibian biology.
