The Experimentation in Science Education is used since the beginning of 19th century and has it origins linked to the laboratory classes realized in the universities. This classes used, and in many cases, still using the Scientific Method initially purposed by Descartes in 18th century for the construction of scientific knowledge. One of the allegations is that the method would be the fast stand the cheapest to generating scientific information, although, it is based on the empiricism-positivism, which considers that all people have the same learning skill and they can start from the same spot. Through this paper, is not intended to contest the scientific methodology, or even its importance in science history, but just try to identify and describe other possibilities in using of the teaching laboratory, which can make the learning easier for a much higher number of students, contemplating different cognitive capabilities and generating a better scientific knowledge learning and its transfer to practical situations in life, besides, they can provide more significant learnings. Over the text, four different purposes will be presented, which depart from the laboratory use for theory evidence, incapable to make students use the learned knowledge outside the school, until that which develops in the students capabilities to scientifically argue about their day to day themes

Este estudo documental buscou investigar a constituio em 1875 do primeiro dicionrio de lngua de sinais do Brasil, a "Iconografia dos Signaes dos Surdos-Mudos", cujo autor, Flausino Jos da Costa Gama, fora aluno do Imperial Instituto dos Surdos-Mudos no Rio de Janeiro. Essa publicao foi analisada luz da obra de Pierre Plissier, surdo francs, que produziu uma obra anterior, a qual Flausino reproduziu na ntegra. A compreenso de como se constituiu a publicao deste dicionrio exigiu a contextualizao histrica da educao do surdo, e a pesquisa sobre a expanso dos processos de produo litogrfica na segunda metade do século XIX. As duas obras foram analisadas quanto a aspectos gerais, forma de indexao lexical, verificao dos sinais que perduraram (38 entre 382), erros de traduo do francs para o portugus e o que estes verbetes nos dizem sobre os preceitos morais e religiosos subjacentes educao do surdo poca. A concluso destaca a importncia da iniciativa de propagar da lngua brasileira de sinais, com a primeira tentativa de registro h cento e trinta e sete anos atrs.

Esse trabalho tem por objetivo a anlise de livros didticos jurdicos na perspectiva da história dos direitos europeu e brasileiro, tendo como referencial terico o texto de Alain Choppin sobre as funes do livro didtico. Foram analisados livros didticos jurdicos produzidos desde a Antiguidade at os dias atuais, assim como importantes mudanas legislativas ocorridas em Portugal no século XVIII e no Brasil no século XIX. Seus autores so, em sua maioria, professores universitrios, para que seus textos servissem de fonte de argumentos de autoridade na prtica. Ao lado dos manuais, sempre foi recorrente o uso de apostilas elaboradas pelos professores ou pelos prprios alunos, a partir das anotaes das aulas. Nos ltimos tempos, os manuais sofrem a concorrncia dos resumos voltados para concursos pblicos e dos cadernos distribudos pelos alunos pela Internet. As principais concluses foram as de que os livros didticos jurdicos so importantes para o aprendizado do Direito.

The article discusses the memories and the history stored in the family archive of Francis Mouro, migrant in Rio de Janeiro, in the first half of the twentieth century. The Mouro family, since the nineteenth century, decided to adopt Brazil as preferred destination. However, like so many Galician families also choose other destinations, moving to Portugal, Uruguay and Argentina. Through letters and personal documents preserved by the immigrant family is possible to reconstruct the migratory chains formed over more than half a century, the solidarity networks and migration of a city of intense immigration to Rio de Janeiro, as the galego city Santa Comba
