Parlamento do Mercosul: mudança ou continuidade?

The parliamentary representation in the Southern Cone integration is the main issue in this article, which analyzes some implications of the institutionalization of Mercosur Parliament (Parlasur). Consolidation and deepening of the integration process are related to the very weakness of congressional action under the Joint Parliamentary Committee and even the Parlasur. The hypothesis is that the creation of the Mercosur Parliament could contribute to the integration process only insofar as it could overcome the limitations experienced by the Joint Parliamentary Commission and go forward in building a democratic and representative body of regional integration.

Mudança de fronteiras étnicas e participação política de descendentes de imigrantes em São Paulo

This paper analyzes patterns of political mobility of a specific social stratum - immigrants and their descendants - in the western region of São Paulo, where coffee economy prevailed since the last quarter of the XIXth century. We investigate the main agents of local politics in seven cities: from the traditional oligarchic regime characteristic of the Old Republic to the processes of political transformation in the thirties that resulted in the post-war re-democratization, when a recomposition of local political elites takes place.

The ever more interconnected and competitive markets have contributed to the increase in the number of companies seeking mergers and acquisitions, as they undergo significant cultural dimensions that can influence the success of an organization. This study analyses how the process of change can happen, considering the importance of culture, the complexities of the internal public and the interaction between professionals, with the aid of Public Relations. The analysis is grounded on theoretical principles concerning intercultural communication and the role of the professional as a manager of communicational barriers. It also recommends the application of storytelling as an organizational strategy in order to mediate potentially conflicting changes that could be facilitated with the work of Public Relations

A iniciação à docência em professores de educação física: os portfólios e as possibilidades de construção da profissão

No Brasil não há uma tradição de programas de iniciação à docência, mas é sabido que tais programas auxiliam na imersão e consolidação do profissional professor, que na fase inicial da carreira, apresenta necessidades específicas. Dessa forma este estudo se propõe a desvelar como um grupo de iniciação à docência (PIBID - área de Educação Física) tem construído o seu percurso no âmbito do ensino, da introdução ao ensino, entendendo esta perspectiva também como um modelo de educação centrado na iniciação. Assim sendo, este trabalho tem como objetivo central compreender a iniciação a docência no âmbito do projeto PIBID de educação física, buscando identificar os elementos que são apontados pelos estudantes como significativos nesse processo de aprendizagem. Especificamente se busca (a) averiguar os elementos que compõem a iniciação a docência dentro dos relatos dos estudantes; (b) identificar os elementos que são apontados pelos estudantes como significativos nesse processo de aprendizagem da docência e (c) analisar o sentido que estes estudantes atribuem para esta experiência na compreensão do ser professor. Opta-se metodologicamente pela pesquisa qualitativa, estudo descritivo, tendo como técnicas a fonte documental e a análise de conteúdo. Os documentos utilizados nesta pesquisa serão Relatórios de Experiência do 1º Semestre, documentos sobre a Contribuição do Projeto Interdisciplinar, Relatos de Experiência como Aluno da Educação Básica dentre outros produzidos por bolsistas do PIBID. Foram encontrados 3 eixos temáticos acerca dos resultados: Tornar-se professor: um processo e uma escolha, Iniciação à docência: Elementos que a compõem, ; PIBID e a aprendizagem da docência: contribuições e limites. Apresentando uma síntese histórico-sociológica do panorama rural brasileiro, da constituição do ensino técnico, e do desenvolvimento do ensino técnico agrícola, este artigo defende que as escolas técnicas agrícolas sofrem uma dupla marginalização, por um lado proveniente de sua natureza profissionalizante e, por outro, dada sua vinculação com o meio rural brasileiro.

This article intends to inventory the medias that also cover Third Age in Brazil, in view of that all the demographic pointers reveal the accented process of aging of the worldwide population, and therefore of our country. A time that the journalists cannot ignore the changes that occur in the interior of the society, in which it is the main area of performance of the journalism, we want to understand why the Brazilian media still dedicates so little space to this phenomenon of the elderly, in contrast of what occurs in other countries. We ask ourselves, then, if the change in the way of looking at the elderly one would not have to be born inside of the University, through the young who prepare for the exercise of the profession, with citizenship and social concern. In the Course of Journalism of the UNESP/Bauru a group of future journalists is searching this subject, for this they sign this article.
