A guide to making an advance health care directive

This guide helps people residing in Andalucía to fill in their Advance Health Care Directives, also known as a Living Will. This document allows you to make known in advance and in writing your wishes and preferences about the health care that you wish to receive when you are unable to communicate because of illness. This guide gives simple and rapid information about how to fill in the document and how to express your wishes. It also contains additional information on Advance Health Care Directives and information onthe Andalusian Registry of Advance Health Care Directives.

Management of bleeding following major trauma: an updated European guideline.

INTRODUCTION Evidence-based recommendations are needed to guide the acute management of the bleeding trauma patient, which when implemented may improve patient outcomes. METHODS The multidisciplinary Task Force for Advanced Bleeding Care in Trauma was formed in 2005 with the aim of developing a guideline for the management of bleeding following severe injury. This document presents an updated version of the guideline published by the group in 2007. Recommendations were formulated using a nominal group process, the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) hierarchy of evidence and based on a systematic review of published literature. RESULTS Key changes encompassed in this version of the guideline include new recommendations on coagulation support and monitoring and the appropriate use of local haemostatic measures, tourniquets, calcium and desmopressin in the bleeding trauma patient. The remaining recommendations have been reevaluated and graded based on literature published since the last edition of the guideline. Consideration was also given to changes in clinical practice that have taken place during this time period as a result of both new evidence and changes in the general availability of relevant agents and technologies. CONCLUSIONS This guideline provides an evidence-based multidisciplinary approach to the management of critically injured bleeding trauma patients.

Chronic pain is a relevant problem in our society. Concerning the young population, recurring abdominal pain (RAP in English, DAR in Spanish and Catalan) is very common among children and adolescents. DARWeb is an online treatment program addressed to children and teenagers with DAR and their parents. This work is aimed to develop an intervention to improve the communication skills of the children/adolescents with DAR and their parents. It is also proposed how this could be implemented to DARWeb.

Implementació d'un instrument de mesura de la qualitat del servei d'un supermercat online

Aquest treball posa en pràctica l'adaptació d'una enquesta anomenada E-S-QUAL, que avalua la qualitat del servei en establiments virtuals. Es parteix de la tesi del doctor Cristóbal i es combina amb part de la tesi del doctor Granollers, concretament amb el model MPIU+Q. S'ha implementat un lloc web amb l'enquesta, ens hem posat en contacte amb un supermercat virtual (Plusfresh.com)i l'hem posada en maxa per a que els clients la contestessin. Finalment, s'ha fet una anàlisi de les dades recollides i s'han extret uns informes i conclusions.
