Trata-se do catálogo da Exposição que esteve patente ao público de 20 de Outubro a 31 de Dezembro de 2016, no Museu de Évora. Procura mostrar algum do espólio do Museu e da Biblioteca Pública de Évora e torná-lo compreensível no contexto da investigação sobre o Santo Ofício. O catálogo está organizado em cinco núcleos: "A criação" [do Tribunal de Évora]; "Os espaços" [espaços de jurisdição]; "A instituição e os seus agentes"; "Actuação"; "Impactos". Reúne textos de vários Autores.

Functional defict and sensitive outcomes to nursing care for elderly: Systematic literature review.

ABSTRACT Objective of this study was to determine sensitive outcomes to nursing care in relation to the functional deficit of people aged 65 and older. It is a Systematic Literature Review with qualitative synthesis and meta-analysis. From the qualitative synthesis, it was found that sensitive outcomes to nursing care, observed from structured intervention, were described as improvement of: functional status, self-care, symptom control, safety/adverse events, customer satisfaction, psychological support, decreased healthcare costs, therapeutic system management and quality of life. In meta-analysis we found that there is an improvement of effect on the level of sensitive outcomes to the nursing care between the experimental and control groups. It is noticed that it is necessary to rouse more guided study in clinical practice, to understand the importance of interventions sensitive to nursing care and health outcomes.

Self-care in older people with functional deficit: needs of long-term care.

The group of 65-year-olds is becoming more numerous and with greater needs for health care. So, is necessary the reflection about new models of provision, organization, and allocation of health resources. According to the United Nations Organization, 2015, in 2050 elderly people will reach two million people (20% of the world’s population), what mean that the number of people over 60 years old will exceed a population of young people under 15 years. Parallel to aging, less healthy lifestyles have contributed to the prevalence of chronic diseases, especially cerebrovascular diseases. Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are risk factors and increase predisposition to other diseases. With aging, there is an increased risk for developing chronic, oncological and degenerative diseases, which account for more than 50% of the burden of diseases, with profound implications on independency, use of health care and services.

A ternura do grotesco no encontro de Paula Rego com Adília Lopes

A ruptura em relação à conceptualização clássica de arte, problematizando o conceito de ‘sublime’ - em que se verificou um abaixamento de valores, da eternidade para a corporalidade - leva-nos ao grotesco e sobre o que se entende por arte, belo e, em consequência, pelo seu contrário. Com este artigo, pretende-se saber de que forma é que o grotesco se dissemina nas pinturas de Paula Rego e os escritos de Adília Lopes e se o que a primeira referiu em relação à obra de Adília e às suas próprias produções, usando o epíteto de “grotesco belo” e possuidor de “muita ternura”, é verificável. As postulações principais sobre o grotesco foram produzidas por Mikhail Bakhtin, Wolfgang Kayser e Victor Hugo. Para além das produções de cada uma das criadoras, foi também observado o cruzamento de ambas no livro “Obra”, uma antologia de Adília Lopes, com imagens da autoria de Rego

A importância da comunicação oral e o papel que ela desempenha na sociedade têm merecido atenção especial de muitos estudiosos e gentes envolvidos no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de línguas. Nota-se com isso que há uma tomada de consciência do valor desta modalidade de linguagem, que é usada em todas as sociedades, que constitui condição para a comunicação e que se trata de uma prática social inerente ao homem. Em resultado disso, constata-se que hoje o desenvolvimento da competência oral está a ganhar uma importância decisiva. A comunicação oral merece destaque, sobretudo, porque hoje vivemos na era da comunicação. Esta circunstância faz com que o processo comunicativo se torne cada vez mais importante, principalmente na sua vertente oral, e cada vez mais necessária. Com isso, deve-se formar indivíduos capazes de usar o discurso oral de forma correcta, adequada ao seu auditor, à situação de comunicação, às intenções expressivas e comunicativas, mas também capazes de receber e interpretar de forma adequada o que é dito pelo produtor (cf. Tangi & Garcia, 2009: 1854), dito de outro modo, preparar os alunos para o exercício da cidadania, tanto na esfera da vida social, de lazer, cultural e profissional.

The implementation of residue selective collection has brought to the city of Sao Manuel an incalculable benefit. It brought a better life for a group of adults and children that lives in a humanitarian condition of extreme poverty. These people live in an open-air dump, disputing the remains found in fifteen tons of garbage that are deposited at the site almost every day.The objective of this paper is to present thecollectors annual income profile and the volume of solid waste collected.To present these factors, the total and fractionated amount according to their material items, collected since the creation of the Association in February 2003 until December 2008, were considered., In addition,the social gains were enumerated. These factors were developed from a theoretical base for municipal solid waste involving environmental, social, and financial concepts. Based on these results it was found that the ACAPEL income value was above the average of other income indicators of the population analyzed, besides the social value enhance that the creation of the Association brought to the people who work there.

Correlation between metal-ceramic bond strength and coefficient of linear thermal expansion difference

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the metal-ceramic bond strength (MCBS) of 6 metal-ceramic pairs (2 Ni-Cr alloys and 1 Pd-Ag alloy with 2 dental ceramics) and correlate the MCBS values with the differences between the coefficients of linear thermal expansion (CTEs) of the metals and ceramics. Verabond (VB) Ni-Cr-Be alloy, Verabond II (VB2), Ni-Cr alloy, Pors-on 4 (P), Pd-Ag alloy, and IPS (I) and Duceram (D) ceramics were used for the MCBS test and dilatometric test. Forty-eight ceramic rings were built around metallic rods (3.0 mm in diameter and 70.0 mm in length) made from the evaluated alloys. The rods were subsequently embedded in gypsum cast in order to perform a tensile load test, which enabled calculating the CMBS. Five specimens (2.0 mm in diameter and 12.0 mm in length) of each material were made for the dilatometric test. The chromel-alumel thermocouple required for the test was welded into the metal test specimens and inserted into the ceramics. ANOVA and Tukey's test revealed significant differences (p=0.01) for the MCBS test results (MPa), with PI showing higher MCBS (67.72) than the other pairs, which did not present any significant differences. The CTE (10-6 oC-1) differences were: VBI (0.54), VBD (1.33), VB2I (-0.14), VB2D (0.63), PI (1.84) and PD (2.62). Pearson's correlation test (r=0.17) was performed to evaluate of correlation between MCBS and CTE differences. Within the limitations of this study and based on the obtained results, there was no correlation between MCBS and CTE differences for the evaluated metal-ceramic pairs.
