A theoretical model is proposed to describe the microscopic processes involved in the ablation in fused silica induced by femtosecond-laser pulse. Conduction-band electron (CBE) can absorb laser energy, the rate is calculated by quantum mechanical method and classical method. CBE is produced via photoionization (PI) and impact ionization (II). The PI and II rates are calculated by using the Keldysh theory and double-flux model, respectively. Besides the CBE production, we investigate laser energy deposition and its distribution. The equation of energy diffusion in physical space is resolved numerically. Taking energy density E-dep=54 kJ/cm(3) as the criterion, we calculate damage threshold, ablation depth, and ablation volumes. It is found that if energy diffusion is considered, energy density near sample surface is reduced to 1/10, damage threshold is enhanced more than 30%, ablation depth is increased by a factor of 10. Our theoretical results agree well with experimental measurements. Several ultrafast phenomena in fused silica are also discussed. (C) 2004 American Institute of Physics.

Los plásticos proporcionan claros beneficios a la sociedad, es un material de innegable utilidad presente en infinidad de productos de uso cotidiano . No obstante, p ese a no ser considerados resi duos peligrosos, los res i duos plásticos representan un problema ambiental global de creciente preocupación ya que la cultura del uso y desecho que prevalece hoy en día hac e que la generación de res i duos ocurra de manera masiva y conti nua . Además, e l plástico es un material inorgánico que tiene alta durabilidad. Se calcula que puede tardar entre 100 y 1000 años en degradarse d ependiendo del tipo de plástico, lo que supone que no se reincorpore fácilmente a los ciclos naturales, permaneciendo por largos periodos y afectando de diferentes maneras los lugares donde queda dispuesto. Por lo tanto, los impactos ambientales son acumulativos, de largo plazo y lejanos. El interés de reciclar los plá sticos surge por la necesidad de eliminar su dep ó sito en vertederos, donde dada su baja degradabilidad solo originan problemas medioambientales y de deterioro del paisaje. A nivel mundial , el principal impacto ambiental de los res i duos p lásticos es la contaminación de los océanos y mares. Es un impacto acumulativo que se presenta a largo plazo y cubre gran cantidad de espacios de todo el planeta. Se han encontrado cantidades substanciales de residuos contaminando los hábitats marinos desde los polos hasta el ecuador, desde costas remotas inhabitadas hasta costas altamente pobladas y áreas profundas del océano (Barnes y cols., 2009 ) . El bajo peso del plástico, que es una ventaja en las etapas de distri bución y consumo del producto plástico, se convierte en una problemática ambiental cuando los residuos plásticos navegan por corrientes subterráneas, ríos, mares y océanos.

This report is the second in a series from a project to assess land-based sources of pollution (LBSP) and effects in the St. Thomas East End Reserves (STEER) in St. Thomas, USVI, and is the result of a collaborative effort between NOAA’s National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science, the USVI Department of Planning and Natural Resources, the University of the Virgin Islands, and The Nature Conservancy. Passive water samplers (POCIS) were deployed in the STEER in February 2012. Developed by the US Geological Survey (USGS) as a tool to detect the presence of water soluble contaminants in the environment, POCIS samplers were deployed in the STEER at five locations. In addition to the February 2012 deployment, the results from an earlier POCIS deployment in May 2010 in Turpentine Gut, a perennial freshwater stream which drains to the STEER, are also reported. A total of 26 stormwater contaminants were detected at least once during the February 2012 deployment in the STEER. Detections were high enough to estimate ambient water concentrations for nine contaminants using USGS sampling rate values. From the May 2010 deployment in Turpentine Gut, 31 stormwater contaminants were detected, and ambient water concentrations could be estimated for 17 compounds. Ambient water concentrations were estimated for a number of contaminants including the detergent/surfactant metabolite 4-tert-octylphenol, phthalate ester plasticizers DEHP and DEP, bromoform, personal care products including menthol, indole, n,n-diethyltoluamide (DEET), along with the animal/plant sterol cholesterol, and the plant sterol beta-sitosterol. Only DEHP appeared to have exceeded a water quality guideline for the protection of aquatic organisms.

本文合成了Ln(DMD)_3 (Ln = La, Pr, Sm, Eu, Ho, Yb, Lu, Y), Ln(DEP)_3 (Ln = La, Sm, Eu, Ho, Yb), Ln (DBP)_3 (Ln = La, Eu, Yb), Ln(BBP)_3 (Ln = La, Eu, Yb), Ln(DEHP)_3 (Ln = La, Ce,..., Lu, Y), Ln(EH[EHP])_3 (Ln = La, Ce,..., Lu, Y), 其中Ln(DMP)_3, Ln(DEP)_3, Ln (DBP)_3, Ln(BBP)_3为本文首次合成。培养出了未见文献报导的Pr(DMP)_3, La(DMP)_3·TMP配合物的单晶,晶体结构表明,Pr(DMP)_3中Pr原子的配位数为6, 配位多面体为稍扭曲的正八面体,配体以“O-P-O”桥和稀土离子配位而形成奇特的“双桥二十四环”的环套环的网状结构。La(DMP)_3·TMP中,La的配位数为7,配位多面体为扭曲的单帽三棱柱,配合物中中性磷酸酯TMP以P=0中的O与La配位,酸性配体以“O-P-O”桥的形式和La配位而形成奇特的“交替二—四桥”的链状结构。这两种配位方式及结构是文献中未报导过的。对配合物进行了热分析,根据热失重百分数并结合残渣的红外光谱证实,最终的分解产物为稀土偏酸盐。研究了配合物在4000-100cm~(-1)范围内的FTS-IR光谱和1500-50cm~(-1)范围内的拉曼光谱,对其主要的振动谱带进行了归属。其中150cm~(-1)附近的“稀土敏感带”指认为Ln-O配位键的伸缩振动带(νLn-O)。我们还指认了与配位密切相关的PO_2基团的ν_(as)PO_2带为1200-1136cm~(-1),ν_sPO_2带为1126- 1064cm~(-1)。同时对Ln(DRP)_3配合物的ν_(as)PO_2(c), ν_sPO_2(c), νc-o-(p)异相,νc-o-(p)同相,νc-o-(o),δPO_2等的振动带以及Ln(RRP)_3配合物中νp-o-(c), νp-c, νc-c-(o), νc-c-(p), δPO_2等的振动带进行了相应的指认。νLn-o频率较低,力常数(约为0.2mDyn/A)较小,所以Ln-o键基本上为离子键,配合物Δν值(Δν = ν_(as)PO_2 - ν_sPO_2)远小于Na盐中的Δν值,Ln-O键具有部分共价性质且随“镧系收缩”Ln-O键共价成分增大。通过对Ln(DRP)_3类配合物振动光谱的研究,Ln(DRP)_3配合物具有和Pr(DMP)_3单晶相似的配位形式和结构类型。Ln(RRP)_3的振动光谱和Ln(EH[EHP])_3的快原子轰击质谱结果, Ln(RRP)_3类配合物具有与Pr(DMP)_3相类似的确配位形式和结构类型。利用配合物的结构,对HDEHP和HEH[EHP]萃取稀土离子的萃取机理给予解释和说明。

间同1,2-聚丁二烯(s-PB)由丁二烯用Fe(2-EHA)3/Al(i-Bu)3/DEP作催化剂,在己烷溶剂中50℃下聚合制备.用13C NMR谱方法测定的1,2-结构含量为89.3%,间同结构为86.5%;X射线测得聚合物的结晶度约为68%.非等温结晶动力学研究采用DSC方法,改进的Avrami方程可以很好地分析s-PB非等温结晶过程的主期结晶,表明其结晶过程是自成核,三维球形生长.Ozawa方程不适合分析s-PB非等温结晶动力学;Avrami和Ozawa方程结合的方法可以很好地描述s-PB非等温结晶过程,指数a为1.138,F(θ)随着结晶度的提高而增大;并计算了s-PB的结晶活化能.

The crystalline syndiotatic 1,2-polybutadiene was synthesized with a catalyst consisting of iron acetylacetonate (Fe(acac)(3))-triisobutylaluminum (Al(i-Bu)(3))-diethyl phosphite (DEP), and the effects of crystal growth conditions on morphology of thin films of the polymer were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and electron diffraction (ED) techniques. The polymer with melting point 179 degreesC was found to have 89.3% 1,2-content and 86.5% syndiotacticity by C-13 NMR measurement. The results of electron microscopic studies indicate that the solution-cast thin films of the syndiotatic 1,2-polybutadiene consist of lath-like lamellae with the c-axis perpendicular to the film plane, while a- and b-axes are in the film plane. The morphology of isothermally crystallized thin films of the polymer is temperature dependent. At lower crystallization temperatures (130 degreesC), a spherulitic structure consisting of flat-on lamellae is formed. With an increase in the crystallization temperature (e.g., at 140 degreesC), the spherulites and single faceted crystals coexist. At higher crystallization temperatures (150 degreesC), single crystals with a hexagonal prismatic shape are produced.

以乙酰丙酮铁 (简称Fe) /三异丁基铝 (简称Al) /亚磷酸二烷基酯 (简称DP)为催化体系 ,对异戊二烯进行聚合 ,考察了不同DP(烷基为甲基、乙基、正丁基或异辛基 )、催化剂组成及反应条件对聚合的影响。结果表明 ,以亚磷酸二乙酯 (DEP)为第三组分的催化体系 ,在己烷中于相对较高温度 (5 0℃ )下的催化活性最高。催化剂最佳配比为Al/Fe(摩尔比 ) 1 5 ,DEP/Fe(摩尔比 ) 2 0。所得聚异戊二烯橡胶的 3 ,4-结构(含 1 ,2 -结构 )摩尔分数约为 60 % ,微观结构基本不受反应条件的影响。

间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯自1955年问世以来 ,引起人们的广泛关注 ,但绝大多数研究工作集中在聚合物的合成方面[1~3] ,对其形态结构方面的研究却很少报道[4] ,原因是该聚合物分子侧链含有大量双链 ,在较高温度下 (>150℃ )很容易产生热交联 ,这给结构研究造成了很大困难 .间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯的性能取决于间规度 ,低间规度聚合物呈现弹性体特征 ,而高间规度聚合物则是一种半结晶性塑料 ,其结晶为平面锯齿链正交堆砌 ,Pacm空间群[4] .本文采用一种新的催化体系 ,使合成的1,2-聚丁二烯间规度可以调控.同时首次报道了结晶性间规1,2-聚丁二烯稀溶液浇铸薄膜形成具有单晶取向的板条状片层结构,并应用电子显微学和电子衍射技术确定其晶体结构.1.实验部分1.1样品及试剂 乙酰基丙酮铁 [(Fe(acac) 3)纯度为 99.9% ],使用时配成0.2mol/ L的甲苯溶液 ;三异丁基铝 [Al(i-Bu) 3]由 Aldrich公司提供 ;氢化亚磷酸二乙酯 (DEP)及丁二烯由锦州化学公司提供 ;丁二烯通过蒸馏进行纯化 ;己烷使用前在 Na/ K合金...

近十几年来,结晶性间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯引起人们的广泛关注,但绝大多数研究工作集中在聚合物的制备、物理性质和应用方面[1~3],对于其结晶行为和晶体结构则未见报道 .原因是间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯分子侧链含有大量的双键,在较高温度下很容易交联 ,特别是高间规度的聚合物 ,由于其熔融温度高 (>200℃ )则更易产生交联,这给结晶行为和结构研究带来很大困难.结晶性间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯的晶体结构为平面锯齿链正交堆砌,Pacm空间群[4].我们曾报道了结晶性间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯的合成和溶液浇铸膜的板条状结构[5],本文采用薄膜熔体结晶的方法第一次成功地获得了间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯的单晶,并通过电子显微学和电子衍射技术确定了其晶体结构.1 实验部分1.1间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯的制备采用乙酰基丙酮铁 [Fe(acac) ]3、三异丁基铝 [Al(i-Bu)3]和氢化亚磷酸二乙酯 (DEP)的新催化体系制备间同立构1,2-聚丁二烯,具体合成路线参见文献 [5].本文所选用聚合物的1,2单元含量为 89.3 % ,间规度为 ...

The mixed layer depth (MLD) in the upper ocean is an important physical parameter for describing the upper ocean mixed layer. We analyzed several major factors influencing the climatological mixed layer depth (CMLD), and established a numerical simulation in the South China Sea (SCS) using the Regional Ocean Model System (ROMS) with a high-resolution (1/12A degrees x1/12A degrees) grid nesting method and 50 vertical layers. Several ideal numerical experiments were tested by modifying the existing sea surface boundary conditions. Especially, we analyzed the sensitivity of the results simulated for the CMLD with factors of sea surface wind stress (SSWS), sea surface net heat flux (SSNHF), and the difference between evaporation and precipitation (DEP). The result shows that of the three factors that change the depth of the CMLD, SSWS is in the first place, when ignoring the impact of SSWS, CMLD will change by 26% on average, and its effect is always to deepen the CMLD; the next comes SSNHF (13%) for deepening the CMLD in October to January and shallowing the CMLD in February to September; and the DEP comes in the third (only 2%). Moreover, we analyzed the temporal and spatial characteristics of CMLD and compared the simulation result with the ARGO observational data. The results indicate that ROMS is applicable for studying CMLD in the SCS area.

介电泳方法被广泛地应用于微纳颗粒的分离和操纵中,实现介电泳操作的关键是设计满足所需电场分布的电极阵列。针对目前在微电极阵列设计中尚缺乏简单有效的电场解析方法的现状,提出一种基于格林公式的电极阵列电场的解析方法。首先介绍了传统介电泳和行波介电泳的概念和计算模型,分析了介电泳过程与电极上所施加的交变电压的频率和幅度的关系,然后在确立电极电势的边界条件的基础上,采用基于格林公式的电场解析方法,建立了非均匀电场的解析模型,得出不同条件下的电极阵列电场分布的仿真结果,最后利用FEMLAB有限元仿真软件对解析模型进行了对比仿真,验证了该解析模型的可行性。基于格林公式的电场解析求解方法能够有效地提高电极阵列设计中的针对性以及缩短电极设计的时间。

自碳纳米管(Carbon nanotube,CNT)被发明以来,研究者就对CNT所表现出来的优异的物理、化学以及电学特性产生了浓厚的兴趣。近年来,CNT基纳米器件的研究取得了重要进展。特别是利用半导体性CNT制造的碳纳米管场效应晶体管(Carbon nanotube field effect transistor,CNT-FET),在化学传感器以及生物传感器等领域表现出了巨大的应用潜力。为此,本文首先介绍了目前CNT-FET制造方法的研究现状。对基于介电泳(Dielectrophoresis,DEP)的CNT-FET制造方法进行了系统分析,构建了基于DEP方法可实现碳纳米管场效应晶体管的自动化装配的微滴定实验系统。本文进行的CNT-FET装配实验,证明了该系统的有效性。

BACKGROUND: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is often used to treat patients with significant coronary heart disease (CHD). To date, multiple longitudinal and cross-sectional studies have examined the association between depression and CABG outcomes. Although this relationship is well established, the mechanism underlying this relationship remains unclear. The purpose of this study was twofold. First, we compared three markers of autonomic nervous system (ANS) function in four groups of patients: 1) Patients with coronary heart disease and depression (CHD/Dep), 2) Patients without CHD but with depression (NonCHD/Dep), 3) Patients with CHD but without depression (CHD/NonDep), and 4) Patients without CHD and depression (NonCHD/NonDep). Second, we investigated the impact of depression and autonomic nervous system activity on CABG outcomes. METHODS: Patients were screened to determine whether they met some of the study's inclusion or exclusion criteria. ANS function (i.e., heart rate, heart rate variability, and plasma norepinephrine levels) were measured. Chi-square and one-way analysis of variance were performed to evaluate group differences across demographic, medical variables, and indicators of ANS function. Logistic regression and multiple regression analyses were used to assess impact of depression and autonomic nervous system activity on CABG outcomes. RESULTS: The results of the study provide some support to suggest that depressed patients with CHD have greater ANS dysregulation compared to those with only CHD or depression. Furthermore, independent predictors of in-hospital length of stay and non-routine discharge included having a diagnosis of depression and CHD, elevated heart rate, and low heart rate variability. CONCLUSIONS: The current study presents evidence to support the hypothesis that ANS dysregulation might be one of the underlying mechanisms that links depression to cardiovascular CABG surgery outcomes. Thus, future studies should focus on developing and testing interventions that targets modifying ANS dysregulation, which may lead to improved patient outcomes.
