Contingut de matèria orgà nica al sòl segons els usos forestals a les Gavarres (Girona)

El següent article és un estudi sobre el contingut de matèria orgànica als sòls del massís de les Gavarres tenint en compte dos aspectes, el primer segons sigui la litologia i segon el tipus d'ús del sòl. Per això s'ha dividit el massís entre els dos grans components litològics: granits i pissarres. A la vegada s'han estudiat els usos del sòl més representatius d'aquesta muntanya: la sureda estassada, la sureda abandonada, les plantacions de pins, les plantacions d'eucaliptus i un bosc mixt de pins i suros. Els resultats mostren que el contingut de matèria orgànica pel que fa a la litologia és molt més alt als sòls sobre pissarres. Quant als usos del sòl, el major contingut correspon a les suredes i el menor a les plantacions d'eucaliptus.

Immigració internacional i educació a la demarcació de Girona: anà lisi sociodemogrà fica

En aquest article es presenta una anàlisi de les dades sobre alumnat segons la nacionalitat per al període comprès entre els cursos acadèmics 2000/2001 i 2006/2007 per al total del Principat, i amb més detall, per al curs 2007/2008 a la Delegació Territorial de Girona lliurades pel Departament d'Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya. Entre els principals resultats, destaquem l'increment d'alumnes a causa de l'augment de la fecunditat, creixement que es concentra en els primers cicles educatius, així com de la immigració, que n'és conseqüència directa. S'ha apuntat també com la permanència en el cicle formatiu és preocupantment diferencial per nacionalitats. D'altra banda, s'ha vist clarament com la titularitat del centre té un paper fonamental en la segregació de la població per nacionalitat, però, al mateix temps, com la planificació en aquesta matèria pot corregir aquest fet, amb independència del nombre d'immigrants estrangers residents al municipi.

Buenos libros, malas lectoras: la enfermedad moral de las mujeres del siglo XIX

El seu article parteix de l'afirmació que el destí de les dones al segle XIX està marcat, en la ficció, pel "bovarysme", malaltia que proposa que les dones s'emmalalteixen i moren perquè llegeixen malament. El treball analitza aquest problema de la "mala lectura" traçant un recorregut que va des de Fernán Caballero fins a Freud i es comenten alguns episodis de lectura que apareixen en la "Autobiografía" de Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, Clemencia, Amalia, Madame Bovary, María, La regenta i El caso Dora. Her article departs from the statement that the destiny of women in the 19th century is determined, in fiction, by "bovarysm", an illness which proposes that women get sick and die because they read incorrectly. The work analyzes this problem of "bad reading" tracing a journey from Fernán Caballero to Freud, and comments on several episodes about the act of reading, from Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda's "Autobiography", Clemencia, Amalia, Madame Bovary, María, La Regenta and Dora's Case.

Calidad de vida y percepción de la desigualdad de la mujer en la ciudad de Girona = Quality of life and inequality perception’s of women in the city of Girona

La igualdad de oportunidades para las mujeres, como factor clave para avanzar en la consecución de calidad de vida preocupa hoy en día a la sociedad en general y alas instituciones en particular. Antes de la elaboración de programas de intervención social es necesario conocer las percepciones de las propias mujeres acerca de sus problemas y de sus necesidades. Siguiendo esta línea de pensamiento presentamos un trabajo empírico en el que analizamos las percepciones de las mujeres de la ciudad de Girona, centrándonos en dos aspectos de manera particular: la percepción de calidad de vida proporcionada por su ciudad y la percepción de desigualdad de oportunidades y/o de discriminación. Los principales resultados, obtenidos a partir de las respuestas a un cuestionario auto-administrado, y proporcionados por una muestra de mujeres seleccionadas aleatoriamente a partir de un muestreo estratificado geográficamente, indican que en general están satisfechas con su ciudad aunque detectamos las principales causas de insatisfacción. Por otra parte, tas principales fuentes de desigualdad se refieren al mundo laboral (menos salario por el mismo trabajo, dificultades de encontrar trabajo si tienen hijos o si son ya mayores), y en la actitud general de la sociedad en el sentido de tener que cumplir el papel que tradicionalmente se les ha asignado

Playas fósiles sumergidas en la Costa Brava Meridional (Girona)

This paper describes petrologic and morphologic characteristics of fossil beaches submerged in the sector of the Costa Brava located between the Pals Beach and Blanes (Girona). These submerged beaches are composed of large-grain sandstone andconglomerate platforms, situated at a depth between 0.5 and 2.5 meters. These platforms are slightly inclinated towards the open sea. These deposits have been formed very recently, and date from Holocene, as noted by the presence of fragments of roman ceramics inside sandstone

L'à lbum il·lustrat com a eina per l’Educació Social : disseny d'un recurs educatiu per a la Biblioteca Just M. Casero al municipi de Girona

Reflexió sobre el paper de l’educador social en una biblioteca. L’objectiu d’aquest treball és mostrar l’àlbum il•lustrat com a una eina apta per a l’Educació social i presentar un disseny de recurs per a una intervenció als usuaris de 6 a 9 anys de la Biblioteca Just M. Casero, partint de les necessitats del barri de Pont Major diagnosticades al Pla de Desenvolupament Comunitari: Construïm Ponts i de les demandes dels usuaris infantils de la biblioteca. S’han prioritzat tres àmbits d’intervenció, marcant uns objectius per a cada un d’ells.
