Käytettävyyssuunnittelun teoria ja käytäntö: Tapaustutkimus huonekalujen verkkokaupasta

Käytettävien ohjelmistojen suunnittelu tuo hyötyjä loppukäyttäjälle sekä muille sidosryhmille. Verkkokaupassa käytettävyys on elintärkeää, koska asiakkaat vaihtavat helposti seuraavalle sivustolle, mikäli he eivät löydä etsimäänsä. Tutkimusten mukaan käytettävyys vaikuttaa ostopäätöksen tekemiseen. Lisäksi käytettävyydellä on merkitystä asiakastyytyväisyyteen, joka taas vaikuttaa asiakasuskollisuuteen. Tässä tutkielmassa tutkittiin, miten käytettävyyttä suunnitellaan käytännössä verrattuna teoreettisiin suosituksiin. Tapaustutkimuksen kohteena oli huonekaluja myyvän kansainvälisen yrityksen verkkokaupan uudistamiseen tähtäävä projekti. Uudistamistarve nousi aikaisemman verkkokauppaversion puutteellisesta käytettävyydestä. Projekti toteutettiin ketterällä Scrum-menetelmällä. Empiirinen aineisto kerättiin puolistrukturoitujen haastattelujen avulla. Haastateltavat olivat käyttökokemuksen suunnitteluun osallistuvia henkilöitä. Haastattelujen teemat laadittiin teoreettisen aineiston pohjalta. Teoreettisessa osuudessa tutkittiin käytettävyyden suunnitteluun liittyviä periaatteita, prosessia ja menetelmiä. Aikaisemmasta tutkimuksesta löydettiin 12 periaatetta, jotka tukevat ja luonnehtivat käyttäjäkeskeistä suunnittelua. Käytettävyyttä suunnitellaan käyttäjäkeskeisen prosessin avulla. Eri prosessimallit pitivät keskeisinä asioina käyttökontekstin määrittelyä ja ymmärtämistä, mitattavia käytettävyysvaatimuksia, suunnitteluratkaisujen empiiristä arviointia sekä suunnitteluprosessin iteratiivisuutta. Lisäksi tarkasteltiin, mitä suunnittelumenetelmiä tutkijat ehdottavat käytettävyyden suunnitteluun ja mitä kyselytutkimusten perusteella todellisuudessa käytetään. Verkkokauppaprojektissa käytettävyyden suunnittelu erosi osittain teoreettisista suosituksista. Käyttökontekstitietoa ei ollut kaikilla projektiin osallistuvilla, eikä käytettävyysvaatimuksia ollut asetettu teorian tarkoittamalla tavalla. Yhtäläisyyksiäkin löytyi. Verkkokauppaprojektissa suunnitteluratkaisuja arvioitiin empiirisesti todellisten käyttäjien edustajien avulla. Suunnitteluprosessi oli iteratiivinen eli suunnitteluratkaisuja oltiin valmiita muuttamaan arvioinnin tuloksena. Tutkimuksen perusteella suositellaan, että verkkokauppaprojektissa parannettaisiin kommunikointia, koska käyttökontekstitieto ei saavuttanut kaikkia projektissa työskenteleviä. Teorian tulisi entisestään korostaa kommunikoinnin tärkeyttä. Tutkimuksen perusteella esitetään myös, että teoria ohjaisi paremmin vaatimusmäärittelyjen tekemiseen käytännössä. Relaciones y capacidades interorganizativas: un enfoque de Supply Chain Management (SCM) en red

El presente trabajo mide, en un contexto colaborativo, un conjunto de mecanismos relacionales interconectados y su incidencia en el performance organizacional. Apoyado en la Visión Relacional (Dyer y Singh, 1998), el trabajo integra mecanismos de las capacidades relacionales y capacidades competitivas en el concepto denominado ¿capacidades interorganizativas¿. Las capacidades interorganizativas se componen de la ¿confianza¿ y los mecanismos ¿combinar recursos complementarios¿, ¿invertir en activos específicos¿, ¿compartir información¿ y ¿solucionar problemas conjuntamente¿. La medición tiene lugar en la Industria Alimentaria (IA) española en un contexto de Supply Chain Management1 en red. Además de mejorar el conocimiento sobre las relaciones interorganizativas, el trabajo también realiza una revisión teórica sobre el sector agroalimentario en general y la IA en particular. Los resultados permiten confirmar, con excepciones, el constructo teórico de las ¿capacidades interorganizativas en un contexto de Supply Chain Management en red¿. Otros resultados obtenidos son los altos niveles de confianza en las relaciones entre socios y una industria que, pese al entorno competitivo y complejo actual, presenta niveles competitivos en términos de flexibilidad, respuesta, calidad y eficiencia. De igual modo, la investigación descubre la implantación de la capacidad de las empresas de la industria para gestionar el conocimiento. En este contexto, los resultados parecen indicar una correcta integración de la cadena de suministros de la IA que confirman la efectiva aplicación de la Supply Chain Management. Otras conclusiones obtenidas son la dependencia que ha tenido y tiene la industria alimentaria española de la distribución, intensificada en parte por la expansión de las marcas del distribuidor (MDDs).

O Sangyo em Dolls: um encontro do Bunraku com Takeshi Kitano

This work aims to investigate the relationship between the Bunraku theater and the film Dolls (2002), by the Japanese director Takeshi Kitano. To do so, it was initially done a theoretical study of this theater, detailing its key elements, and thus allowing a direct analysis of the film to be made. The main objective here was to reveal the film‟s connections with the Bunraku. The Sangyo refers to the simultaneous presence of three arts in the Bunraku theater: the narrative, the music and the manipulation of puppets. In Dolls, the director Takeshi Kitano presents a narrative through three different stories, all built with references to the Bunraku. As in the theater the three distinct arts harmonize on stage, in Dolls three separate stories will perform in harmony within the film. By confronting the Bunraku Theater with the film Dolls, the intention is to establish the connections between the scenic language of the Bunraku, the dramaturgy of Chikamatsu and also the cinema of Kitano. These connections allow to the understanding of how characteristics of a secular art, governed by strong rules and conventions, can be presented again through another language: the cinematic language and its particular set of codes and conventions

A tradução e a sua relevância na indústria farmacêutica

O projeto encontra-se dividido em três partes. Na primeira encontra-se um estudo teórico sobre a importância da tradução médica. A segunda parte apresenta a tradução de dois artigos médicos extraídos de um manual de psiquiatria e a partir desses artigos foi criado um glossário bilingue. Na última parte foi realizada uma reflexão sobre a tradução, detalhando todos os aspetos essenciais da mesma. Os temas abordados nos artigos anteriormente mencionados têm a ver com os antidepressivos e estimulantes, e antipsicóticos, entre os quais se destacam os mecanismos de ação e os efeitos adversos de cada um destes medicamentos.

Turystyka i rekreacja a jakość życia mieszkańców Leszna

The quality of life (QOL) is currently one of the main fields of study for researchers around the world. Its complex nature makes it a topic of interest for many different fields, such as philosophy, ethics, medicine, economics, sociology and physical culture sciences. Despite the differences in the way various researches define the QOL, the general agreement is that any measurement of QOL should encompass the following dimensions: objective QOL and subjective QOL (well-being). Particularly noteworthy, for any complex research is the mutual relationship between the QOL and tourism and recreation. The increase of tourism and recreation should entail a simultaneous development of local communities, as emphasized by Crouch and Ritchie this implies that the inhabitants of an area that serves a function of tourism and recreation should profit from the increased number of tourists. This benefits should be reflected in the objective QOL conditions and the subjective sense of satisfaction of the residents. The city of Leszno and it’s tourism and recreation-oriented development strategy were used to form a basis for theoretical study on QOL and to calculate the Tourism-Recreation QOL Index.

RESULTADOS DE LOS EVENTOS REALIZADOS EN LA ESCUELA

Este artículo muestra los resultados del estudio realizado en la Escuela de Bibliotecología, Documentación e Información de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica con estudiantes de grado y egresados de la carrera de bibliotecología y documentación.La propuesta se basa en el estudio teórico, el análisis del currículo aplicado, principios del modelo pedagógico de la Universidad Nacional y en la gestión curricular de la Escuela, durante los últimos cuatro años.

O efeito da reprovação na motivação dos alunos

O mundo mudou muito e o modelo escolar existente, que vem desde o século XVIII, manifesta dificuldades de adaptação ao novo mundo. As dificuldades de ensino e aprendizagem também são muito mais vastas do que as do passado, num ensino obrigatório e massificado, e a capacidade de captação da atenção que a escola antes produzia, é hoje mais difícil de obter. A motivação, sem a qual não há aprendizagem, revela a dificuldade da educação escolar em lidar com a realidade atual. Dentro de um referencial teórico sustentado, importa analisar e interpretar o modo como decorre a aprendizagem e o modelo de avaliação do terceiro ciclo do ensino básico, bem como investigar os fatores que influenciam a motivação dos alunos. Para atingir os objetivos do estudo optou-se por uma abordagem metodológica qualitativa, recorrendo à realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas aos vários intervenientes educativos e à análise de documentos, numa escola selecionada para o efeito. Constatou-se, através dos dados obtidos, que a reprovação tem um impacto extremamente significativo no desempenho escolar dos alunos, e que se umas vezes provoca um efeito pedagógico, noutras tem o efeito exatamente inverso. Este trabalho consiste num estudo de caso sobre o efeito que a reprovação provoca na motivação dos alunos que ficam retidos e tem como intuito encontrar estratégias para aumentar a motivação desses mesmos alunos.

Custos da gestão da qualidade na manutenção e sustentação dos Sistemas de Armas da Força Aérea

Atualmente, as organizações tendem a desenvolverem-se com o objetivo de se tornarem mais eficazes e eficientes. Neste contexto, esta investigação visa propor um modelo que permita calcular os Custos da Qualidade (CQ) na manutenção e sustentação dos Sistemas de Armas da Força Aérea (FA), contribuindo para a melhoria contínua do Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade e Aeronavegabilidade (SGQA). Assim, neste estudo é avaliada a utilização do modelo “Prevenção, Avaliação e Falhas” (PAF) para o cálculo dos CQ no SGQA, a forma como os Sistemas de Informação (SI) podem contribuir para este cálculo e qual a estrutura do sistema que deverá integrar e operacionalizar este modelo. Esta investigação desenvolve-se mediante um raciocínio hipotético-dedutivo, utilizando uma estratégia qualitativa aplicada num estudo de caso ao SA Epsilon Tb-30. Após apresentar um enquadramento teórico, são testadas as hipóteses identificadas através de análise documental e entrevistas a elementos com funções-chave neste âmbito. Verifica-se então a possibilidade de utilizar o modelo PAF para o cálculo dos CQ no SGQA. Contudo, é necessário adaptar os SI e os processos do sistema para a sua operacionalização. Finalmente, é proposto um plano para implementação do modelo de CQ, assim como são apresentadas algumas recomendações para o seu desenvolvimento. Abstract: Nowadays, the organizations tend to self-develop in order to increase their efficiency and effectiveness. In this context, this study has the purpose to propose a Quality Cost (CQ) model within the scope of maintenance and sustainability of Portuguese Air Force (FA) weapon systems, contributing to the continuous improvement of its Airworthiness and Quality Management System (SGQA). Therefore, throughout this study is evaluated the implementation of Prevention, Appraisal and Failure (PAF) model for CQ calculation, how the Information Systems (SI) can contribute for this calculus and what SGQA structure should integrate and operationalize this model. In this investigation is used a hypothetical-deductive reasoning, through a qualitative strategy applied to a case study in Epsilon TB-30 aircraft. After presenting an initial theoretical study, the raised hypotheses are tested through the relevant document analysis and interviews with elements in key functions within this scope. With this study it’s shown the possibility to use PAF model to calculate CQ of the SGQA. However, it’s necessary to adapt the SI and the system processes to get the operationalization of this model. Finally, an implementation plan of the evaluated CQ model is proposed, and some recommendations are made for its future development.

Diamond Surface Modification to Enhance Interfacial Thermal Conductivity in Al/Diamond Composites

Diamond/metal composites are very attractive materials for electronics because their excellent thermal properties make them suitable for use as heat sink elements in multifunctional electronic packaging systems. To enlarge the potential applications of these composites, current efforts are mainly focused on investigating different ways to improve the contact between metal and diamond. In the present work, a theoretical study has been carried out to determine the differences between the interfacial thermal conductance of aluminum/diamond and aluminum/graphite interfaces. Additionally, diamond particles were surface modified with oxygen to observe how it affects the quality of the diamond surface. The characterization of the surface of diamonds has been performed using different surface analysis techniques, especially x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and temperature-programmed desorption.

Relatório de estágio : Centro de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Infantil, CADin

O trabalho apresentado enquadra-se na realização do estágio curricular no âmbito do 2º ciclo de reabilitação psicomotora. O estágio curricular decorreu no Centro de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Infantil durante o ano letivo 2012/2013. Nesta instituição a estagiária desenvolveu o seu trabalho dentro de problemáticas como a perturbação de hiperatividade e défice de atenção e os problemas de comportamento. O trabalho envolve a caraterização da instituição, a consideração da intervenção psicomotora no âmbito do desenvolvimento e aprendizagem e o aprofundamento teórico das problemáticas observadas. No sentido deste trabalho refletir as conquistas e dificuldades de todo um processo, são apresentadas as atividades realizadas no âmbito do estágio e uma reflexão crítica sobre o contributo de todo o processo para a aprendizagem e futuro profissional da estagiária.

Creación Colectiva: doble lectura de un proceso artístico. Estética y Relación en un experimento performático contemporáneo

Esta tesis indaga en la interacción entre los aspectos estéticos y relacionales que tienen lugar en un proceso de creación colectiva. Durante los últimos años han proliferado multitud de formas de colaboración artística, a menudo asociadas a movimientos de preocupación social o a comunidades ideológicas y alejadas de los circuitos institucionales, moviéndose entre nuevas posibilidades de autogestión y espacios alternativos de difusión. A fin de entender en primera persona cuáles son las implicaciones de la inclusión del "otro" en el proceso creativo individual, realizamos una experiencia autogestionada de creación colectiva en Barcelona entre los años 2007 y 2011. El presente estudio propone una doble lectura crítica del experimento, planteada en dos niveles paralelos: el nivel de la propia construcción artístico-estética y el nivel de las relaciones que se establecieron entre los participantes a lo largo del proceso. A través del abordaje empírico, la doble lectura crítica y el estudio teórico del contexto, demostramos que la colectivización y "relacionalización" del hecho creativo contribuyen a la rehumanización de la práctica artística, socializando los procesos, contextualizando los mensajes y proponiendo el diálogo como principal herramienta de creación. ———— ABSTRACT This thesis explores the interaction between the aesthetic and relational aspects that take place in a process of collective creation. During the last few years, many new forms of artistic collaboration have proliferated, often associated with socially engaged movements or ideological communities, away from institutional art circuits, moving between new possibilities of self-management and alternative show spaces. In order to understand first-hand what the implications of the inclusion of the “other” are in the individual creative process, we conducted a self-managed collective creation experience in Barcelona from 2007 to 2011. This study proposes a double critical reading of the experiment, displayed in two parallel levels: the level of artistic-aesthetic construction itself and the level of relations established between participants throughout the process. Through the empirical approach, double critical reading and a theoretical study of the context, we demonstrate that the collectivization and "relationalization" of the creative act contribute to re-humanizing the artistic practice, socializing processes, contextualizing messages and proposing dialogue as the main tool of creation.
