Se redescubre la historia de las matemáticas desde el punto de vista de la historia de la didáctica de las matemáticas. A través de clásicos como Descartes, se revisan las maneras de enseñar matemáticas que ha habido a través de la historia. Por lo tanto, se utiliza la historia de las matemáticas y la manera en la que han sido explicadas para tratar de encontrar mejoras en el sistema educativo actual.

Resolución de un problema matemático sobre estructuras algebraicas con un conjunto de funciones reales. La letra F representa el conjunto de las 16 funciones de verdad de la lógica bivalente. Se representan estas funciones con letras minúsculas de acuerdo con una serie de convenciones. Cada una de estas letras seguida del apóstrofo representará la correspondiente función complementaria. A partir de operaciones matemáticas, se obtienen demostraciones de fenómenos reales.

Las superficies de coste son una solución precalculada del problema de camino mínimo en mapas raster. Normalmente los sistemas GIS utilizan un mapa para almacenar los costes unitarios, que son constantes para cada celda, lo que implica resolver un problema isotrópico. No obstante, los problemas reales no suelen ser isotrópicos. En este trabajo se propone un método para calcular superficies de coste anisotrópicas. El método se ha implementado en Grass usando dos nuevas órdenes: r.acost y r.adrain. El artículo explica el método de cálculo, su implementación en Grass, cómo generar automáticamente los mapas de coste unitario cuando el coste depende de la elevación y evalúa los resultados

To enhance the maintenance practices, Oil and Gas Pipelines are inspected from the inside by automated systems called PIG (Pipeline Inspection Gauge). The inspection and mapping of defects, as dents and holes, in the internal wall of these pipelines are increasingly put into service toward an overall Structural Integrity Policy. The residual life of these structures must be determined such that minimize its probability of failure. For this reason, the investigation on the detection limits of some basic topological features constituted by peaks or valleys disposed along a smooth surface is of great value for determining the sensitivity of the measurements of defects from some combinations of circumferential, axial and radial extent. In this investigation, it was analyzed an inductive profilometric sensor to scan three races, radius r1, r2, r3, in a circular surface of low carbon steel, equipped with eight consecutive defects simulated by bulges and holes by orbit, equally spaced at p/4 rad. A test rig and a methodology for testing in laboratory were developed to evaluate the sensor response and identify their dead zones and jumps due to fluctuations as a function of topological features and scanning velocity, four speeds different. The results are presented, analyzed and suggestions are made toward a new conception of sensor topologies, more sensible to detect these type of damage morphologies

Based on the fierce competitiveness of manufacturing companies and the planning problems arising from the lack of flexibility and forecasting demand, companies are increasingly looking to reflect on the most appropriate methods to manage its manufacture. Today it is possible to obtain higher gains and lower costs through very efficient tools, this paper uses action-research to model and implement the physical layout of a manufacturing cell, with strong theoretical basement returned to Lean Production System and acting systematically in flexibility in mounting. Through observation and joint action of the observer and staff can report problems that occurred during the phases of planning and implementation of improvements. With the improvement of the physical arrangement in the assembly was possible to obtain significant gains by reducing the production cycle, the manpower required, spending of non-compliance and increasing productivity, final product quality and health in the workplace
