Uso de sistemas de comunicação suplementar e alternativa na Educação Infantil: percepção do professor

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Resources have proven to be helpful in the insertion of students with disabilities and complex communication needs into a variety of pedagogical activities and expand the skills and competencies of the teacher in the teaching-learning. The objective of this research was to identify the perception of teachers regarding the use of augmentative and alternative communication during an intervention program in Preschool. Participants were a special class of Preschool students with disabilities and severe communication complexity, along with their teacher and the researcher. For the development of this research, a Alternative Communication Program was applied. The teacher was provided with systematic guidance concerning language and communication. In a collaborative process, three children’s songs were selected according to the teacher’s pedagogical planning and adapted resources through Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems. During the intervention program, assisted evaluations also took place immediately after the activities with the music. The data were collected in audio recordings. For data analysis, content analysis was carried out resulting in the outlining of themes and subthemes. Results indicated that the teacher identified that Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems can to facilitate expression abilities of students with disabilities; that Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems can be used by children in Preschool; and that resources adapted through augmentative and alternative communication systems should be in accordance with the specificities of students.

A importância do incentivo ao desenho infantil

The present work's objective is to analyze the benefits of drawing for child development, encouraging children to draw. By doing this research, we want to prove the strengths that drawing can bring to the life of a child in areas such as emotional, intellectual, social, perceptual and motor development, seeking ways to encourage drawing for children. This research is bibliographic and focuses on authors like Viktor Lowenfeld, Robert Read, Edith Derdik, Georges-Henri Luquet, Ana Mae Barbosa and others who advocate drawing as a significant form of expression for child development

Dança na escola: um estudo sobre a formação do pedagogo para trabalhar a dança na educação infantil

The study focuses on the training of the pedagogue and working with dance in kindergarten. We conducted a brief study on corporal expression, Art Education and Dance History. We observed during this study the difficulties in working with the Dance School. So we conducted a search of the literature on teacher training, and a documentary research studying the Bachelor of Education, Faculty of Sciences, State University Julio de Mesquita Filho - FC/UNESP by analyzing its Educational Policy Project, its goals, its disciplines and whether any or some of them encouraged the study of dance as a method of teaching Art education. We seek the input of authors who study dance as well as others that investigate the training of teachers. We achieved some of the intended objectives and the analysis of the Educational Policy Project of the Education Course noting that two disciplines open space to work with movement, you can insert your content and practices related to dance. But we must emphasize that long for the lack of teacher training addressing the real needs of body language in kindergarten

O ensino da escrita no último ano da Educação Infantil: práticas convertidas ao traçado das letras excludentes à noção de símbolo

The theme of the writing learning in childhood education has conquered space in academic works, which occupy in analyze and understand how this process in contexts of meaning and not more before the mechanics of learning letters. Thus, in this work, it constitutes general objective to investigate whether and how the practice of teaching of oral and written expression in the last year of child education promotes the development of the symbol (sign) in children, so necessary to the learning of writing from inside to outside. The questions that served as the North for the study were the following: the teaching of writing, in the last year of child education, is organized to promote the development of the symbol (sign) in children? Which and how the ratings graphics made by children demarcate the stage of development of their writing? For its implementation, a bibliographic research was performed, using as a theoretical support for the prospect of Psychology socio-historical, especially authors as Vygotsky (1984), Luria (2001), Oliveira (1995) and Mello (2005). In addition to this was performed the empirical research of qualitative approach, according to his purpose. The data were collected by six instruments: systematic observation and direct in the classroom; audio-recording; records in a field diary, annual teaching plan of the school; lesson plan weekly and material produced by children, result of write activities. By means of the analysis of these data, we note that the writing has been worked from outside to inside, as an imposition, practice that opposes the theory of Vygotsky, already that the writing has been tackled in a way mechanical, in contexts not significant, with focused practices to the trace of the letters and copy of words, exclusive to the notion of symbol. As parcerias entre prefeituras paulistas e o setor privado na política educacional: expressão de simbiose?

O artigo apresenta resultados finais de pesquisa interinstitucional que teve por objetivo analisar a natureza e as consequências de parcerias firmadas entre setores privados e governos municipais paulistas para atendimento da educação infantil e do ensino fundamental. O período correspondeu aos anos de 1996 a 2006, tendo em vista a percepção de que o aumento das responsabilidades dos municípios pela oferta educacional, decorrente da municipalização do ensino fundamental, poderia estimular processos de privatização da educação municipal, por meio do aumento de "parcerias" entre a gestão municipal e o setor privado lucrativo e não lucrativo. O estudo apresenta tendências relacionadas a três modalidades de parcerias: subvenção pública para oferta de vagas em instituições privadas de educação infantil, aquisição de "sistemas" privados de ensino e contratação de assessoria privada para a gestão da educação municipal. As tendências percebidas na análise indicam que as atuais relações entre as esferas públicas e privadas no campo da educação, decorrentes da descentralização havida no setor, representam um movimento em direção a sua privatização.

Classe hospitalar: a articulação da saúde e educação como expressão da política de humanização do SUS

A saúde é determinada por condições sociais, econômicas, educacionais, políticas e ambientais, extrapolando, portanto, a dimensão exclusivamente biológica. O presente trabalho tenta estabelecer uma reflexão interpretativa sobre os princípios do SUS e mostrar a interface deles com a proposta da classe hospitalar, uma modalidade de educação especial que estimula a construção de conhecimentos, a capacitação e o ensino de algumas habilidades, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento infantil. Tratase de um exercício de argumentação para o entendimento do papel da classe hospitalar na realização da atenção integral à saúde no Brasil. O desenvolvimento de atividades pedagógico-educacionais em hospitais permite oferecer às crianças e adolescentes hospitalizados a continuidade do seu aprendizado.

O desenvolvimento da expressão em contexto pré-escolar

O objetivo deste estudo “O Desenvolvimento da Expressão em Contexto Pré-escolar” foi o de desenvolver o desenho das crianças, de forma a que estas possam progredir a nível pessoal e social. Este projeto enquadra-se nas teorias da Educação pela Arte, tem em consideração as características do sistema educativo pré-escolar e do papel do educador de infância. Serão explorados conceitos relacionados com a Emoção, a Arte Infantil e a Expressão Plástica. Foi realizado um projeto de investigação, com dois grupos de crianças dos quatro aos cinco anos de idade. As atividades estimularam as crianças a desenvolver respostas criativas, perante os desafios propostos, assim como a capacidade de comunicação, o desenho livre, a imaginação, a sensibilidade e o respeitar as manifestações de arte dos colegas. Da análise dos resultados, conclui-se que a qualidade das ilustrações na literatura infantil deve ser integrada nas atividades de artes plásticas, pois o seu contributo é enorme no sentido em que ajuda a criança a desenvolver-se totalmente (a sua concentração, intelectualidade e a esfera afetiva-emocional).

"Encanta-me, canta-me histórias : a literatura para a infância de mãos dadas com a expressão musical"

O trabalho que iremos apresentar pretende ser um instrumento de reflexão e aprofundamento crítico sobre uma prática, que vai demonstrar como, de uma forma lúdica e cativante, se pode utilizar a Literatura Infantil nos seus mais variados géneros e a Expressão Musical, em atividades de exploração, aprendizagem e criatividade. A partir dessas atividades, que devem ser motivadoras de forma a envolver o grupo de crianças do Jardim de Infância de Valdossos, pretendemos promover a aquisição de diversas competências associadas ao desenvolvimento da linguagem, nomeadamente no que se refere à oralidade. A questão que orientou a nossa pesquisa foi: “ Como construir, implementar e avaliar um Projeto Artístico-Pedagógico com enfoque na Literatura Infantil e na Expressão Musical, que contribua para o desenvolvimento da oralidade das crianças do Jardim de Infância de Valdossos?” O trabalho empírico vai assentar numa metodologia qualitativa. A partir da análise de toda a informação recolhida da observação direta, das gravações, fotografias, diálogos e registos das crianças, pudemos constatar que ambientes educativos que promovam o acesso à Expressão Musical e a Literatura Infantil nas suas mais diversas modalidades farão com que as crianças desenvolvam vários conhecimentos e adquiram competências importantes para a sua formação como um todo integrado. Constatámos também, que o contacto precoce com a Música e a Literatura interferem positivamente na aquisição e desenvolvimento de competências relacionadas com o desenvolvimento da oralidade, permitindo-nos verificar a relevância deste projeto.

Efeitos da temperatura do ar, linhagem e período do dia nas freqüências de ocorrências e tempos de expressão comportamental de matrizes pesadas

Behavioral adjustments may occur fast and with less cost than the physiological adaptations. Considering the social behavior is suggestive that the frequency and the intensity of aggressive interactions, the total social cohesion and the extent of vicious attitudes may be used to evaluate welfare. This research presents an analysis of the interactions between the experimental factors such as temperature, genetic and time of the day in the behavior of female broiler breeders under controlled environment in a climatic chamber in order to enhance the different reaction of the birds facing distinct environmental conditions. The results showed significant differences between the behaviors expressed by the studied genetics presenting the need of monitoring them in real-time in order to predict their welfare in commercial housing, due to the complexity of the environmental variables that interfere in the well being process. The research also concluded that the welfare evaluation of female broiler breeders needs to consider the time of the day during the observation of the behaviors.

Protocolos de investigação de variáveis psicológicas na epilepsia infantil

Epilepsy is a common chronic condition in the childhood and its diagnosis reveals psychological, social and family difficulties, that seem to be related with beliefs and quality of parents-children interaction. The purpose of this paper is to schematize investigation strategies for the psychological variables: beliefs, impact of the disease, family relationship, identification of changes. Based upon collected reports of epileptic children's parents and upon surveyed aspects of the literature, psychological questionnaires were elaborated to identify important variables that affect the child's epilepsy life and his family. The use of more appropriate investigation procedures facilitates the psychological evaluation and ensures the collection of data.
