Robotics is a field that presents a large number of problems because it depends on a large number of disciplines, devices, technologies and tasks. Its expansion from perfectly controlled industrial environments toward open and dynamic environment presents a many new challenges, such as robots household robots or professional robots. To facilitate the rapid development of robotic systems, low cost, reusability of code, its medium and long term maintainability and robustness are required novel approaches to provide generic models and software systems who develop paradigms capable of solving these problems. For this purpose, in this paper we propose a model based on multi-agent systems inspired by the human nervous system able to transfer the control characteristics of the biological system and able to take advantage of the best properties of distributed software systems.

This paper presents a model of a control system for robot systems inspired by the functionality and organisation of human neuroregulatory system. Our model was specified using software agents within a formal framework and implemented through Web Services. This approach allows the implementation of the control logic of a robot system with relative ease, in an incremental way, using the addition of new control centres to the system as its behaviour is observed or needs to be detailed with greater precision, without the need to modify existing functionality. The tests performed verify that the proposed model has the general characteristics of biological systems together with the desirable features of software, such as robustness, flexibility, reuse and decoupling.

To facilitate the low cost, rapid development of robotic systems, reusability of code, its medium and long term maintainability and robustness are required novel approaches to provide generic models and software systems who develop paradigms capable of solving these problems. For this purpose, in this paper we propose a model based on multi-agent systems inspired by the human nervous system able to transfer the control characteristics of the biological system and able to take advantage of the best properties of distributed software systems. Specifically, we model the decentralized activity and hormonal variation.

For many years, humans and machines have shared the same physical space. To facilitate their interaction with humans, their social integration and for more rational behavior has been sought that the robots demonstrate human-like behavior. For this it is necessary to understand how human behavior is generated, discuss what tasks are performed and how relate to themselves, for subsequent implementation in robots. In this paper, we propose a model of competencies based on human neuroregulator system for analysis and decomposition of behavior into functional modules. Using this model allow separate and locate the tasks to be implemented in a robot that displays human-like behavior. As an example, we show the application of model to the autonomous movement behavior on unfamiliar environments and its implementation in various simulated and real robots with different physical configurations and physical devices of different nature. The main result of this work has been to build a model of competencies that is being used to build robotic systems capable of displaying behaviors similar to humans and consider the specific characteristics of robots.

The use of microprocessor-based systems is gaining importance in application domains where safety is a must. For this reason, there is a growing concern about the mitigation of SEU and SET effects. This paper presents a new hybrid technique aimed to protect both the data and the control-flow of embedded applications running on microprocessors. On one hand, the approach is based on software redundancy techniques for correcting errors produced in the data. On the other hand, control-flow errors can be detected by reusing the on-chip debug interface, existing in most modern microprocessors. Experimental results show an important increase in the system reliability even superior to two orders of magnitude, in terms of mitigation of both SEUs and SETs. Furthermore, the overheads incurred by our technique can be perfectly assumable in low-cost systems.

En esta memoria se describe el trabajo de la red docente para el seguimiento y control de calidad de las asignaturas del segundo curso del Grado en Ingeniería Informática impartido en la Escuela Politécnica Superior de la Universidad de Alicante. En esta edición, el trabajo de la red se ha centrado en el estudio de las necesidades formativas y los contenidos impartidos en las asignaturas. El resultado ha sido la creación de un grafo de dependencias entre asignaturas de segundo y primer curso (y de segundo curso entre sí), un mapa de necesidades formativas para acceder a las asignaturas de segundo curso y un mapa de los contenidos impartidos en éstas. Asimismo, se ha elaborado un calendario on-line de evaluaciones para el curso 2014-2015.

A Gestão de Processos de Negócio (BPM – Business Process Management) é uma abordagem que tem como objetivo melhorar a eficiência nas organizações, através da gestão dos processos, em que se realiza a sua modelação, organização e otimização de uma forma iterativa e contínua. O BPM permite suportar os processos de negócio, através da utilização de métodos, técnicas e software para projetar, representar e analisar processos organizacionais que envolvem, pessoas, organizações, aplicações, documentos e outras fontes de informação (Aalst, Hofstede, & Weske, 2003). Neste estudo é utilizado um Business Process Management System (BPMS) para realizar a modelação dos processos do Comité Européen de Rink-Hockey (CERH), para a inscrição de equipas e atletas, nos eventos realizados sob a responsabilidade deste comité. A modelação é realizada através da utilização do Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). A utilização do BPMS foi realizada considerando as seguintes etapas: (1) desenho do processo; (2) definição do processo; (3) desenvolvimento do processo e (4) administração e utilização de processos. Pretendeu-se, demonstrar a viabilidade e operacionalidade na utilização de uma ferramenta BPMS open-source, numa abordagem BPM, na modelação e implementação de processos, em detrimento de soluções proprietárias de custo elevado. O critério adotado para a seleção da ferramenta baseia-se na análise de relatórios sobre BPMS, que nos permitiu identificar e sustentar a solução adotada (Hill, Cantara, & Kerremans, 2009; Ovum, 2010; Richardson, Moore, Clair, & Vitti, 2010; Sinur & Hill, 2010). O resultado foi o desenvolvimento dos processos na organização, com a sua modelação em BPMN e implementação num BPMS, onde podemos comprovar a abordagem BPM numa organização desportiva.

Esta dissertação demonstra o estudo sobre a comunicação organizacional, mais precisamente sobre o uso da comunicação on-line nos processos de liderança. Após pesquisas bibliográficas de profunda intensidade, construiu-se um referencial teórico que documentou temas fundamentais para a formação do raciocínio sobre o assunto central do trabalho. O trabalho foi estruturado em 6 capítulos que versam na seguinte ordem: Liderança, tipos de líderes e processo de liderança; O processo de comunicação; A comunicação organizacional interna e a comunicação on-line; A comunicação on-line e a sociedade corporativa; O problema estudado, as questões de pesquisa e a metodologia; E resultados e análises comentadas da pesquisa: a comunicação on-line nos processos de liderança na Cia. Transnacional. O objeto de estudo, problema, que motivou a pesquisa foi expresso como: "Quais são as conseqüências da comunicação on-line nas relações interpessoais entre líderes e liderados em uma organização corporativa?" Para isso, utilizaram-se as pesquisas qualitativa e quantitativa com o levantamento de dados por meio de um questionário de pesquisa formulado e enviado via on-line e com as respostas recebidas pelo mesmo meio de comunicação. A organização escolhida foi uma empresa de grande porte situada em São Bernardo do Campo, no estado de São Paulo, que atua no segmento de montagem de veículos automotores de médio e grande portes e é referenciada na dissertação sob o pseudônimo de "Cia. Transnacional". O estudo teve por objetivo principal entender as conseqüências (efeitos) do uso da comunicação on-line pelos líderes e, após identificá-las, elas foram documentadas para que contribuam de forma pedagógica e profissional para a sociedade global que adotou a informática nos ambientes de trabalho. Para la lingüística Cognitiva, la construcción del sentido darse a través del accionamiento de procesos mentales específicos que están directamente ligados a las experiencias socioculturales, sensorio motores y perceptuales. En portadores de la Síndrome de Asperger, el comprometimiento de estos procesos, debido a características específicas dela propia síndrome, puede estar directamente relacionado a problemas de construcción de sentido por estos individuos. En este sentido, el objetivo de esta investigación es investigar los procesos cognitivos que direccionan la construcción del sentido en estos portadores de trastornos neurales. La investigación es realizada con alumnos de la APPARN (Associação de país e amigos dos autistas do Rio Grande do Norte), teniendo como grupo de control alumnos neurotípicos de otras instituciones, siendo los portadores de la síndrome practicantes de la lengua materna o grupo experimental de la búsqueda. Para elucidar el proceso de construcción del sentido por estos alumno, fueron desarrollados testes contiendo rasgos linguisticos norteadores responsables por el accionamiento de algunos procesos cognitivos como los esquemas (JOHNSON, 1987), frames (MINSKY, 1974), affordances (GIBSON, 1979) y simulación mental (BARSALOU, 1999). Los testes fueron basados en los presupuestos teóricos de la Lingüística Cognitiva, más precisamente, de la Teoria Neural del Linguaje. Los resultados apuntan para una posible justificativa para el comprometimiento de la construcción del sentido en portadores de la Síndrome de Asperger, que comprende directamente la relevancia intersubjetiva de la infersencias recibidas y construidas socialmente por los participantes específicamente de este análisis.

This work proposes a modified control chart incorporating concepts of time series analysis. Specifically, we considerer Gaussian mixed transition distribution (GMTD) models. The GMTD models are a more general class than the autorregressive (AR) family, in the sense that the autocorrelated processes may present flat stretches, bursts or outliers. In this scenario traditional Shewhart charts are no longer appropriate tools to monitoring such processes. Therefore, Vasilopoulos and Stamboulis (1978) proposed a modified version of those charts, considering proper control limits based on autocorrelated processes. In order to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed technique a comparison with a traditional Shewhart chart (which ignores the autocorrelation structure of the process), a AR(1) Shewhart control chart and a GMTD Shewhart control chart was made. An analytical expression for the process variance, as well as control limits were developed for a particular GMTD model. The ARL was used as a criteria to measure the efficiency of control charts. The comparison was made based on a series generated according to a GMTD model. The results point to the direction that the modified Shewhart GMTD charts have a better performance than the AR(1) Shewhart and the traditional Shewhart.

This study describes the development of a prototype to evaluate the potential of environments based on two-dimensional modeling and virtual reality as power substations learning objects into training environments from a central operation and control of power utility Cemig. Initially, there was an identification modeling features and cognitive processes in 2D and RV, from which it was possible to create frames that serve to guide the preparation of a checklist with assigning a metric weight for measuring cognitive potential learning in the study sites. From these contents twenty-four questions were prepared and each was assigned a weight that was used in the calculation of the metric; the questions were grouped into skill sets and similar cognitive processes called categories. Were then developed two distinct environments: the first, the prototype features an interactive checklist and your individual results. And, second, a system of data management environment for the configuration and editing of the prototype, and the observation and analysis of the survey results. For prototype validation, were invited to access the virtual checklist and answer it, five professionals linked to Cemig's training area. The results confirmed the validity of this instrument application to assess the possible potential of modeling in 2D and RV as learning objects in power substations, as well as provide feedback to developers of virtual environments to improve the system.

El objetivo general de este proyecto es desarrollar unas prácticas de laboratorio de control de procesos en un entorno virtual, que permita a los alumnos interaccionar con el mismo de manera activa y cercana a situaciones reales que se pueden encontrar en su vida laboral o profesional.
