La premsa comarcal i el consum de noves pantalles

La investigació es centra en la visió dels mitjans de proximitat i el consum de d’aquests mitjans en el marc de la convergència digital a Catalunya. No és cap misteri l’aparició de nous hàbits de consum de continguts dels mitjans de comunicació nous i vells, on uns prefereixen, la premsa, la televisió i la ràdio, i d’altres amplien l’experiència i/o prefereixen la consulta de portals web, xarxes socials o continguts per internet a través de, dispositius mòbils, consoles de vídeojocs, etc. La recerca esta està dividida en dos grans blocs: per una banda, un estudi qualitatiu amb entrevistes en profunditat als responsables de mitjans comarcals sobre la seva visió com mitjà, i la seva trajectòria, i sobre els propis lectors, radiooients, i seguidors, ; i per l’altra banda, un quantitatiu mitjançant a partir d’una enquesta online a residents a Catalunya sobre el consum de mitjans. Les conclusions mostren una radiografia de l’actual ecosistema mediàtic a Catalunya.

Prospectiva en torno a las grandes dimensiones de los programas de Garantía Social.

El artículo se divide en cuatro apartados. En el primero, se presentan los antecedentes y el marco legal de los Programas de Garantía Social (PGS). En el segundo, se concretan los objetivos y modalidades de estos programas, las características del alumnado que los cursa y el perfil del profesorado que los imparte. El tercer apartado se centra en el contexto socio-educativo de la Comunidad de Castilla La Mancha y el estudio de los PGS que en ella se desarrollan. Además, se presentan las dimensiones de los cuestionarios elaborados para realizarlo. Por último, en el cuarto apartado, se exponen las conclusiones derivadas de su aplicación y análisis en el estudio de la implantación de los PGS en la Comunidad de Castilla La Mancha, y se hacen unas propuestas de optimizaciön que pueden generalizarse a otras comunidades autónomas.

Determinação condutométrica de cloridrato de metformina em formulações farmacêuticas empregando nitrato de prata como titulante

A simple, precise, rapid and low-cost conductometric titration method for the determination of metformin hydrochloride (MET) in pharmaceuticals using silver nitrate as titrant is proposed. The method was based on the chemical reaction between the chloride of metformin hydrochloride molecule and Ag(I) ions, yielding the precipitate AgCl(s). The method was applied for MET determination in three pharmaceuticals and the obtained results with proposed method were in close agreement with those results obtained using an official method of the British Pharmacopoeia, at a 95% confidence level.

Determinação turbidimétrica em fluxo de cloridrato de fluoxetina em formulações farmacêuticas

A simple, accurate and precise flow-injection turbidimetric procedure for the determination of fluoxetine hydrochloride in pharmaceutical formulations is reported. The procedure is based on the precipitation of chloride of fluoxetine hydrochloride with silver nitrate solution and the yielded insoluble AgCl(s) was monitored at 420 nm. The analytical curve was linear in the fluoxetine hydrochloride concentration range 3.0 x 10-5 - 5.0 x 10-4 mol L-1 with a detection limit of 10 µmol L-1 and, a sample throughout of 60 h-1.

Quantificação de antimônio em garrafas de politereftalato de etileno (PET) brasileiras por fluorescência de raios-X e avaliação quimiométrica para verificar a presença de pet reciclado através do teor de ferro

Antimony is a common catalyst in the synthesis of polyethylene terephthalate used for food-grade bottles manufacturing. However, antimony residues in final products are transferred to juices, soft drinks or water. The literature reports mentions of toxicity associated to antimony. In this work, a green, fast and direct method to quantify antimony, sulfur, iron and copper, in PET bottles by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry is presented. 2.4 to 11 mg Sb kg-1 were found in 20 samples analyzed. The coupling of the multielemental technique to chemometric treatment provided also the possibility to classify PET samples between bottle-grade PET/recycled PET blends by Fe content.

Química forense: perspectivas sobre novos métodos analíticos aplicados à documentoscopia, balística e drogas de abuso

In this review recent methods developed and applied to solve criminal occurences related to documentoscopy, ballistic and drugs of abuse are discussed. In documentoscopy, aging of ink writings, the sequence of line crossings and counterfeiting of documents are aspects to be solved with reproducible, fast and non-destructive methods. In ballistic, the industries are currently producing ''lead-free'' or ''nontoxic'' handgun ammunitions, so new methods of gunshot residues characterization are being presented. For drugs analysis, easy ambient sonic-spray ionization mass spectrometry (EASI-MS) is shown to provide a relatively simple and selective screening tool to distinguish m-CPP and amphetamines (MDMA) tablets, cocaine and LSD.

Vanadato de bismuto sintetizado por combustão em solução na presença de diferentes combustíveis: síntese, caracterização e estudo da atividade fotocatalítica

In this manuscript, a BiVO4 semiconductor was synthesized by solution combustion synthesis using different fuels (Alanine, Glycine and Urea). Also, the Tween® 80 surfactant was added during synthesis. BiVO4 was characterized by XRD, SEM and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Photocatalytic activity was evaluated by the discoloration of methylene blue at 664 nm under UV-visible light irradiation. According to XRD, the monoclinic phase of BiVO4 was obtained for the samples. The smallest particle size and highest k obs value were observed for the BiVO4/alanine sample, which promoted greater demethylation of methylene blue.
