In this paper, we aim at describing and assessing Environmental Education in Pedagogical Policy Projects (PPP) drawn by eight elementary schools belonging to the city school network of the city of Araraquara, in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. A framework was designed to detail references to topics and activities related to the environment contained in the respective PPP. Next, the information obtained was recorded under two categories: a) content and activities, and b) theoretical background. It was found that, although seven out of the eight PPP studied pointed to work towards environment-related topics, they do not enable the theoretical and methodological grounds behind their programmed actions be identified.

Written language is a form of communication between humans and, as is not acquired naturally, needs educational interventions systematized to be learned. However, the teaching of writing is still mechanically imposed on the student, and could make use of other features such as games and plays. As a result, this research we analyze the writing development of phases, the psychic functions present in its development and the construction of a paradigm games and games that can be used as auxiliary tools in the teaching of writing. We describe the operation of each and identify how they can be used in the classroom. The survey was conducted through a qualitative approach of empirical type. The data concluded that these instruments are not used in class and often writing has no social relevance for the child. We also conclude that some usage scenarios of play occurred among children, are not used for didactic purposes as an example of sign-symbol relationship by teachers to teach writing

Literature is a treasure for humanity and for the school. It causes psychological function of the individual, inserts it in the context of various cultures and historic moments, and, by having formative nature, School and Literature are intrinsecally related institutions. But literature is not the end of the first teaching, while the school has the purpose of teaching literature. Literature is not a source of good leads standards; have to be educated without this process to misrepresent. Thus, it was estalished is to investigate the inadequacy of schooling of Children's Literature pointed out by Soares in 2006, is still reality that becomes present in school or if there was any change in that status. Specific objectives were established: 1)Scanning separately in each of the books education system, from first to fifth grade of elementary school, according to the following categories involving education of literary reading: selection of genres and authors; presentation of these genres and no change from one genre to another; 2)analyze the way children's literature is presented by note-books analyzed education system develop the sensitivity of the student for pluris-signification and expressiveness of literary language, while fulfilling its social function and knowledge; 3)review the comprehension activities of literary reading proposed by notebooks to seize their educational goals. Therefore, we carried out basic theoretical research, demonstrating the functions of literature and the teaching of literature in school, and documentary research. The article presents data from a qualitative study that aimed to investigate the presence of aspects that integrate knowledge, values and practice of the Human Rights Education (HRE) in the political-pedagogical projects (PPPs) of public schools in the state of São Paulo. 15 documents were analyzed from criteria based on reference documents for HRE in Brazil. The criteria were organized into seven areas: internal and external community; principles and concepts of education; goals; curriculum; democratic participation and school environment; teacher training and evaluation. We sought to identify whether the HRE related elements were missing, or if they were just mentioned or stood out through propositional planned actions in PPPs. The data demonstrate that the contents directly related to HRE are absent from PPPs, some issues related to this type of education are weakly mentioned and there are some planned actions that promote rights. However, the intentional, systematic and conscious planning of HRE is not yet reflected in this document type.

Childhood is a theme that has attracted many controversies and discussions, and winning approaches to the increasingly large over time: biological, psychological, educational, welfare and, more recently, sociological. It is known that the movement, play and game activities are important recurrent and integral development of children, and should be present prominently in early childhood institutions. Based on these assumptions is that this study aimed to analyze the didactic-pedagogical principles postulated by the law, official guidelines didactic teaching and literature, with regard to meeting the needs of children in early childhood education. Unveiling the expectations of the families responsible for children in relation to early childhood education, especially with regard to movement, and play games and compare to what extent these expectations turn away or close to the guidelines on teaching and pedagogical movement, games and postulated in official documents, legislation and literature. To this end, we carried out literature search, selection and analysis of texts relevant to the understanding of the theme. Fieldwork was conducted in a Municipal School of Early Childhood Education Full-time (Emei) of Bauru/SP, and involved the analysis of the Political-Pedagogical Project of the institution, semi-structured interviews with five teachers and five children in the family responsible for Garden II (ages 5 to 6 years). Data were analyzed using thematic content analysis of Bardin and triangulated by the confrontation of literature/legislation, the Pedagogical Political Project of the institution and the expectations of families/guardians. Na última década, nos governos Lula (2002 - 2010) e Dilma ( 2011 - 2012), os jogos eletrônicos passaram a figurar nas políticas públicas governamentais, com o ganho de destaque da indústria a partir do seu crescimento nos últimos anos e por meio de iniciativas promovidas por instituições como a ABRAGAMES (Associação Brasileira das Desenvolvedoras de Games) e a ACI Games (Associação Comercial, Industrial e Cultural de Games). Concebendo a indústria de games como uma indústria criativa, esta monografia busca descrever o mercado nacional de jogos eletrônicos e assim expor seus dispositivos de fomento e desenvolvimento, evidenciando as políticas públicas governamentais para a área e incluindo uma exposição de como os games se inserem ou podem se inserir em políticas de incentivo do governo federal como a Lei Rouanet, Lei da Informática e a Lei do Audiovisual

Educational games are responsible for part of the information assimilated by the child, because these games respect the individual learning time, enabling experimentation and, consequently, being an accessory to retain the acquired knowledge spontaneously. However, the analogy between stimulus and reception/result is not always the expected. On the one hand, there are the pedagogues, bearing the knowledge necessary to the children’s development. On the other hand, are the children, who cannot completely assimilate the concept, commonly because of lack of planning on the product. After all, the children become not interested in the game, without developing the expected cognitive abilities planned for the product. Whereas the importance of the games on children’s development, this work aimed to analyze and select educational games presented on the preschool, based on the language exploration from the Design’s knowledge and skills. Specifically, the research intends to investigate games targeted to stimulate geometric concepts, and so, to describe parameters that must be observed during the product planning.

Apresentamos neste trabalho experiências obtidas na aplicação de um dos jogos desenvolvidos como parte do projeto de Extensão “Ensinado Matemática através de Jogos, Modelos Geométricos e Informática”, o qual tem como objetivo desenvolver entre os alunos do ensino fundamental e médio o estímulo pelo interesse em Matemática e o aprimoramento de seus conhecimentos nesta área, o que é propiciado através do contato com problemas desafiantes e da interação com outros colegas e docentes, despertando o gosto e interesse pela investigação matemática, através dos jogos, modelos geométricos e softwares. O “Ensinando Matemática através de jogos, modelos geométricos e informática” conta com a colaboração de 3 docentes do departamento de Matemática da UNESP-Bauru e envolve a cidade de Bauru com várias escolas públicas de ensino médio, participando as três séries deste nível. Um dos objetivos dos departamentos de Matemática das universidades brasileiras é estimular o interesse dos graduandos ingressantes pelo raciocínio lógico. Outro ângulo é buscar meios de incentivo para alunos e professores, na tentativa de colaborar para a melhoria do quadro brasileiro que se coloca. Com este projeto estamos estimulando o gosto pela Matemática, propiciando uma maior interação professor / aluno, e promovendo uma aproximação comunidade / universidade, fazendo com que o aluno tenha uma nova visão da Matemática através dos jogos. Assim, de forma lúdica, estamos fazendo com que este aluno pense nos conceitos aprendidos na sala de aula, questione a lógica usada para fazer o pensamento, fazendo com que este estudante crie conexões entre as várias áreas da matemática. Dentre os jogos aplicados, o “fecha a caixa” tem nos proporcionado atingir este objetivo, como apresentamos no decorrer do nosso texto.
