Automated synthesis of delay-reduced Reed-Muller universal logic module networks

This paper presents a new approach to implement Reed-Muller Universal Logic Module (RM-ULM) networks with reduced delay and hardware for synthesizing logic functions given in Reed-Muller (RM) form. Replication of single control line RM-ULM is used as the only design unit for defining any logic function. An algorithm is proposed that does exhaustive branching to reduce the number of levels and modules required to implement any logic function in RM form. This approach attains a reduction in delay, and power over other implementations of functions having large number of variables.

Granada y García Lorca : un marco local para una poesía universal.

Se trata de una propuesta didáctica dirigida a los alumnos de sexto de Primaria y que tiene como principales objetivos que los escolares se familiaricen con la obra de García Lorca, se aproximen a su dimensión humana, así como a la cultura de su tiempo. Para hacer un recorrido por la obra de García Lorca se emplea como recurso didáctico una entrevista ficticia que es contestada con opiniones recogidas a través de entrevistas, conferencias y recitales del escritor granadino. Como anexo a la unidad didáctica aparece el periódico del CP El Parque en el que se publica un artículo biográfico sobre el poeta.

Miguel Servet : ¿te atreves?: el humanista aragonés más universal.

Portal de materiales educativos relacionados con Miguel Servet. Su principal objetivo es ofrecer un repositorio de materiales pedagógicos para el profesorado y actividades para el alumnado dedicados al humanista aragonés y acercar así a las aulas el perfil del pensador, que ofrece múltiples facetas. Los contenidos están basados en su vida y obra e incluyen datos como: biografía, artículos relacionados, actividades dirigidas, enlaces, etc. Las actividades están señaladas por colores según el nivel.

EPS (Electronic Portfolio System)

In 2001, before the term “e-portfolio” was common parlance there was a perceived need to enable teachers in training to save, store, present and archive their electronically-based work so that it could be assessed by tutors. A Teacher Training Agency (TTA) Grant was used to design and implement an online system for trainee teachers to save evidence of their activities called Electronic Portfolio System (EPS). Over the years, its use and value has changed and, through the support of the Teacher Development Agency for schools (TDA), the system will continue to develop. The features of the system have grown organically because of technology changes and by tutors and mentors identifying affordances. This presentation will identify the principles and how they guide the development process. It will give an opportunity to elucidate the next stages in e-portfolio developments.
