Atividades investigativas: o impacto na capacidade de argumentação em alunos do ensino médio sobre eletroquímica

The education research guidelines have shown the important contribution of the investigations that focus on analysis of the discursive dimension of teaching and learning of Science in actual classroom. An interesting proposal to analyze the effectiveness of an educational activity is to assess the potential of investigative activities in the development of argumentation in science classes. Several studies have taken into account the use of argument in the classroom as a way to provide students with new ways to know the science. Argument refers to the process of associating components that play a central role in the construction of explanations, models and theories. In order to investigate the potential of these activities took place the application of investigative activities with third-year high school students, recorded in audio and video, focusing on the development of the argument. The search, conducted ranks as a qualitative research with characteristics of a case study. The arguments collected during the activities contained the students' conceptions about the concepts discussed and all were recorded in audio and video. With the encouragement of the argument by the investigative activity we evaluate the learning experienced by the speech of students. It may be noted that students have appropriated the concept of oxidation involving electron transfer, thus the activity reached the goal, so that was planned, making it effective for the introduction of electrochemical concepts

This article investigates the universe of women seasonal farm workers, more precisely those women laborers who take the so-called truck, in the newspaper chronicle “Th e Seasonal Farm Workers’ Express” (1976) and the short story “Th e funny face of fear”(1978), both by the journalist and creative writer Murilo Carvalho. Th e hypothesis is that these two narratives, in which the theme is the truck accident, can be classifi ed as testimonial literature.

A formação de professores para o ensino de ciências nos anos iniciais da escolarização: reflexões e perspectivas para a exploração da natureza da ciência

O objetivo deste estudo é apresentar e discutir aspectos da formação de professores para o ensino de ciências nos anos iniciais da escolarização, focalizando abordagens que podem ser contempladas nos processos formativos para uma adequada compreensão da natureza da ciência. Desenvolvemos um estudo teórico, a partir da literatura científica, apresentando e discutindo algumas propostas: trabalhar a história e filosofia da ciência; inserir práticas diversificadas como a experimentação em uma abordagem investigativa; explorar a relação CTSA; usar diferentes fontes para estudo, preparação das aulas e seleção de atividades. Entendemos que trabalhar nesse sentido pode contribuir para a valorização da área de Ciências por parte dos professores em formação e para o enriquecimento da prática educativa com as crianças.

Implicações de um programa de formação continuada na formação e atuação de professores de educação física atuantes no ciclo I

This work focused on research a course of continuing education for teachers of Physical Education, offered in a city of São Paulo in 2013. Adopting as a benchmark analysis of models of continuing education in teaching, investigative question that guided this study was: what are the implications of this formative process in the formation and performance of the participating teachers?. With this guiding question, four were the objectives we seek to respond to this analysis: first identify the profile of teachers as well as the participation and involvement of the same course developed; 2 map and analyze the manifestations of teachers throughout the course; 3 reflect on the role of teachers in relation to approaches and/or distances with the common physical education curriculum proposed by the municipality; 4 identify and analyze the reflections on the course conducted. The methodological approach was qualitative and eighteen participants were teachers of a school system in a city of São Paulo, active in cycle I (1 to 5 years) of primary school. Data collection was carried out in two phases, with the participants in the first stage seventeen teachers and three teachers in the second stage that in addition to acting in the cycle I also actively participated in the course. Data were obtained in phase one using a diagnostic interview recorded on voice recorder and transcripts of observations and recorded in video and voice recorder from sixteen meetings of the continuing education course conducted in 2013 and phase two included the observation of classes teachers in the 2nd half of 2013, ending with a final interview. A formação do professor-pesquisador no curso de licenciatura em educação física

A formação inicial do professor-pesquisador tem como pressuposto formar um docente mais autônomo e observador de sua prática pedagógica, relacionando ensino com investigação. A formação de um novo professor requer sua iniciação em valores, representações, saberes e fazeres (SARTI, 2009) e o professor-pesquisador busca investigar sua prática e resolver seus desafios, sem distanciar-se da teoria. Para abranger esta formação, o presente estudo propõe como objetivo geral compreender como os estudantes do curso de licenciatura em Educação Física da UNESP de Rio Claro interpretam a sua prática profissional em situação de estágio supervisionado na perspectiva do professor-pesquisador. Como objetivos específicos buscou-se: (1)Observar se os estagiários são estimulados a refletir sobre sua ação pedagógica; (2)Verificar se a disciplina de Prática de Ensino se aproxima de uma proposta de formação do professor que investiga a sua prática; (3)Identificar os elementos constitutivos de uma ação reflexiva e; (4)Averiguar se os estudantes de educação física se reconhecem como professores que investigam a sua prática. Optou-se pela pesquisa qualitativa, tendo como técnicas a entrevista semiestruturada com os licenciandos, a fonte documental, a observação das aulas da disciplina de estágio na universidade e a análise de conteúdo. Na busca desses dados o trabalho de campo relacionado à observação foi realizado com 15 estudantes de Licenciatura em educação física do quarto ano - turma 1 da disciplina de Estágio Curricular Supervisionado . Para a entrevista foram selecionados 6 estudantes deste grupo.
