The curtains have gone up on yet another act of the Greek debt drama. Eurozone finance ministers and the International Monetary Fund have agreed with Greece to begin, per the IMF’s demands, providing some debt relief to the country, and to release €10.3 billion in bailout funds. Greece, for its part, has agreed to another round of austerity and structural reform.

The centromere is a chromatin-based platform that accumulates microtubule-binding proteins that drive chromosome segregation during cell division. Despite their size (on the order of megabases of DNA in mammals) and conserved role, centromeres have the remarkable capacity to leave their usual comfort zone and to reform at a new chromosomal site (1). Although found rarely, these so-called neocentromeres are by most measures bona fide and segregate chromosomes with high fidelity. What accounts for this nomadic behavior?

The Illinois Entrepreneurship Network was established throughout the state to provide business management, counseling and training, assistance in entering international markets, information on competing for the state and federal contracts, developing technology related products and providing a supportive environment for new, startup businesses. This network consists of Small Business Development Centers, Procurement Technical Assistance Centers, International Trade/NAFTA Centers, Small Business Incubators and of course Entrepreneurship Centers. Assistance is provided in the areas of preparing business and marketing plans, securing capital, improving business skills, accessing international trade opportunities and addressing other business management needs. DCEO also has programs targeted to assist minority and women-owned business concerns. The Illinois Entrepreneurship Network is a collaborative arrangement among DCEO, the US Small Business Administration, the US Department of Defense, colleges and universities and private business organizations. Pursuant to the Business Assistance and Regulatory Reform Act, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) created the IEN Business Information Center of Illinois (the Center). The goal of the Center is to enhance the state's business climate by making it easier for businesses to comply with government requirements and gain access to the information they need to be competitive. Whether a startup or existing business, this handbook will inform you of various legal requirements and guide you to additional resources.

The non-use provisions of the Trade Marks Act 1995 (Cth) have attracted some attention in recent reviews of the trade marks system and some reform of these provisions now seems likely. Unfortunately, however, there has been a failure to confront the full range of problems that hamper the effectiveness of the current non-use provisions. Once these problems are properly understood, it can be seen that more wide-reaching reforms than those being canvassed at present merit serious consideration.

This article explores the relationship between gender and translation with the conviction that the latter is a point of contact between different linguistic, cultural and ideological realities, and therefore plays a vital role in the change of the patriarchal and sexist nature of language and societies. I will begin by examining the influences and confluences between translation and feminisms, which have powerfully contributed to the mutual renewal and enrichment of both disciplines. This perspective will place me in a privileged position from which I will consider the purpose of feminist translation, a purpose exemplified in the adaptation (rather than invention) of legitimate ideological and textual strategies for translation, which make it possible to contribute to the implementation of a linguistic and social reform which seeks the eradication of gender discrimination.

The Politics of the New Germany continues to provide the most comprehensive, authoritative and up-to-date textbook on contemporary German Politics. The text takes a new approach to understanding politics in the post-unification Federal Republic. Assuming only elementary knowledge, it focuses on a series of the most important debates and issues in Germany today with the aim of helping students understand both the workings of the country's key institutions and some of the most important policy challenges facing German politicians. For this second edition, the content has been comprehensively updated throughout, augmented by additional factboxes and data, and features new material on: •Grand coalition •Lisbon treaty •Constitutional court •Financial crisis •Reform of social policy •Afghanistan. Written in a straightforward style by three experts, each of the chapters draws on a rich variety of real-world examples. In doing so, it highlights both the challenges and opportunities facing policy-makers in such areas as foreign affairs, economic policy, immigration, identity politics and institutional reform. The book also takes a bird’s-eye view of the big debates that have defined German politics over time, regardless of which political parties happened to be in power. It pinpoints three key themes that have characterised German politics over the last sixty years; reconciliation, consensus and transformation. The book is a comprehensive, yet highly accessible, overview of politics in 21st Century Germany and should be essential reading for students of politics and international relations, as well as of European and German studies.
