This study aims to understand as the children who show expressive behaviors of antisocial trends at Ncleo de Ao Social da Praia do Meio in Natal-RN city, linked to Secretaria Municipal do Trabalho e Assistência Social-SEMIT, which experience the relation with the social educator in role of caregiver. This matter was investigated within an interpretation and approach qualitative view of the social phenomena, using the Thematic Analysis technique of drawings and stories which express the relation with the caregiver gotten in sessions of playful interactions between child and researcher in order to understand the child experiences with the social educator. The used theoretical referential is by D. W. Winnicott who associates the social trend to a failure of environment in child holding. The subjects expressed the need of a firm and protective environment and they look for this in NASPM educators. Moreover, they show as solitude and vulnerability take part their lives due to the lack of emotional holding on family that favors the involvement with violent groups. But, it is worth pointing out that the children value the Nucleus environment when has offered them a safe holding which can be positive the established linking with it. Such conclusion points out to the possibility, recognized theoretically, that exists from these children to resume the way of healthy development

In this thesis I discuss the role of the psychologist as a university professor and as intellectual from a specific context and also from a specific query. The context is the city of Teresina, capital city of Piau state, which is peripheral in Brazil s northeast region. The defiance here is to build a critical psychological tradition that will deal with the challenges imposed by the reality of poverty and socio-economic backwardness of the region. The greatest difficulty is the lack of a public institution of learning that carries out instruction, research and extension with commitment to social transformation, and with the production of a psychological knowledge that is able to understand local reality. I take it that the undergraduate course in Psychology at UESPI [State University of Piau] is the only one in Teresina that can take over such mission. The query is confronting violence against children and adolescents that defies us to ethically and politically commit to solidarity toward fragile human beings in need of adult involvement in order to survive this daily inhumanity. The involvement of psychologists from Teresina in this must result from a social commitment and a technical competence to deal with prevention and therapeutic consideration toward the victims. This dissertation is divided into three parts: the first is a study on the curriculum and the performance of psychologists, which revises the academic output in Brazil and envisages new queries to the theme, such as the role of teaching inside the curriculum, and presents social security (including Medicare) as the privileged field in which Brazilian psychologists perform. The second part contains a study on the concepts of childhood, adolescence and violence, which presents a consideration on the strategies to confront violence against children and adolescents. In the last part I discuss the role of the psychologist as teacher and intellectual in the context undergraduate course in Psychology at UESPI [State University of Piau] from the commitment to the protection of children and adolescents

The dissertation proposes a discussion about the instrumentality of the Social Work, in the attempt of visualizing her, as well as the profession, in a totality perspective to the light of the rationality critical-dialetical. Understood as the capacity that the professional subjects acquire of giving answers to the demands that are placed to the profession, itself built partner-historically, in a teleologys conflicts and causalitys. So, it is proposed the discussion of the instrumentality while a group of you know specific, composed essentially by the development of three practical-formative dimensions. The theoretical-methodological refers to the capacity of apprehension of the method and of the theories and, consequently, of the relationship that does with the practice. The dimension ethical-politics concerns the development of the capacity of analyzing the society and the own profession as field of contradictory forces, being considered the character eminently political of the professional exercise, as well as the professional's conscience concerning the social direction that prints in your intervention. And the technician-operative dimension refers more strictly to the technical elements and you score for the development of the intervention. It was looked for to evidence as those dimensions they attend in the professional exercise, starting from the experience lived by the social workers of the Social Attendance Reference Centers, in Natal/RN

This research comprises a study about the social assessment performed by the Social Worker in the review process of the Benefit of Continued Installment. The Benefit of Continued Installment was implemented in 1996 and guarantees a minimum salary to the deficiency person and to an elder with sixty five years or more and that proves not to have ways to support neither himself/herself nor his/her own family. It is a demand to include in the BPC that the maximum income of a family does not exceed of minimum salary and that every two years this benefit to be revised to evaluate its continuity based in its original conditions. This study was carried out in the municipality of Natal/RN, with thirteen social workers, being the collection of data performed through interviews and social assessments of the users that count with the benefit. The results show that the users selected by the criterion of the income, present a profile of poverty and deprivations demonstrated through several situations survived in its daily life, indicative of vulnerability. It was demonstrated that the Social workers has relative autonomy in the evaluations along with the users and that it denotes the necessity of inclusion. However, by following the imposed criteria, it corroborates with the logic of exclusion. So, it is identified in the Municipality of Natal/RN, following the orientation given the politics of social work at national level, the implementation of revision of the BPC, for the social workers, from rigorous processes of selection and exclusions

El presente trabajo se constituye en un estudio sobre la pobreza y las desigualdades socio territoriales en el Brasil, problematizando la perspectiva territorial de las polticas pblicas sociales observando la distribucin espacial del ndice de Desarrollo de las familias (IDF) en el municipio de Pau dos Ferros/RN, as como las principales polticas sociales, a ejemplo del Programa Bolsa Familia. En este sentido, el objetivo principal de esa disertacin se di en la tentativa de comprender la importancia de la lectura previa del territorio para la reflexin sobre la pobreza en su aspecto multidimensional y para la territorializacin de las polticas Pblicas sociales construidas en el intento de minimizar la problemtica de la desigualdad social, observando la distribucin espacial do IDF en el municipio de Pau dos Ferros/RN. A partir del objetivo general trazado, hicimos una revisin terica sobre los temas, pobreza, desigualdades sociales y polticas pblicas, en el primero caso atentando para el aspecto multidimensional de esta, abogando la importancia de analizarnos la pobreza no apenas por el nivel de rienda, pero considerando otras dimensiones que corroboran para la constitucin del ser pobre, como habitaciones precarias, falta de saneamiento bsico e infraestructura, el no acceso a la salud, la educacin y los otros servicios que posibilitan el individuo vivir con el mejor dignidad. Comprendiendo la importancia del conocimiento previo del territorio para que ocurra las debidas reflexiones e intervenciones en la realidad territorial buscamos reflexionar acerca de ese concepto en sus nexos con la construccin e implementacin de las polticas pblicas sociales teniendo la Poltica Nacional de Asistencia Social (PNAS) como poltica esencial y tambin el el Programa Bolsa Familia (PBF), una vez que buscamos compreender su importancia a partir de la visin del sujeto, o sea las beneficiadas del PBF en el Municipio de Pau dos Ferros. Para tanto, hicimos entrevistas orales con las beneficiadas del PBF que fueron elegidas aislada a partir de los equipos del CRAS, adems de la aplicacin de cuestionarios semiesctructurados y abiertos con gestores y asistentes sociales del muninicipio.Buscamos adems trabajar con algunos datos del Cadnico para el municpio en estudio proponiendo analisar las condiciones sociales y econmicas de las famlias cadastradas. Algunos resultados fueron posibles, a saber, es necesario interpretarse la pobreza a partir de varias dimensiones para no tener el riesgo de quedarnos solamente en la perspectiva financiera, o sea de la rienda, que mismo sirva para lo emergencial no es suficiente para transformar las condiciones de vida de las famlias; PNAS puede ser considerada como un avanzo de la poltica social en el Brasil una vez que posuye importancia fundamental en la familia. Sin embargo, es preciso avanzar en la interpretacin del territorio que en la poltica y en el habla de los agentes sociales , es interpretacin apenas como un recorte donde debern ocurrir las acciones para minimizar la pobreza ; al fin, o PBF es un programa de urgencia moral una vez que combate lo mas emergencial que es el directo de sobrevivir , pero aun no consegui transformar de una manera significativa la pobreza en el pas

O profissional de sade um ponto-chave para a implementao do Sistema nico de Sade (SUS). medida que exerce sua funo, o sistema passa do aspecto terico-conceitual para a prtica da ateno. Objetivou-se neste estudo verificar o nvel de conhecimento sobre o Sistema nico de Sade (SUS) dos coordenadores de sade bucal e cirurgies-dentistas do servio pblico dos 40 municpios da regio noroeste do Estado de So Paulo. Utilizou-se um questionrio estruturado, autoaplicvel, composto de questes referentes aos princpios doutrinrios e organizativos do SUS, controle social, financiamento, formao de recursos humanos, ateno e assistência em sade. Dos entrevistados, 77 (89,5%) no sabiam quem era o responsvel pelo planejamento e execuo da assistência, 53 (61,6%) no tinham conhecimento de equidade, 46 (53,5%) de fundo de sade e 45 (52,3%) de controle social. Conclui-se que existe deficincia no conhecimento de determinados assuntos, havendo necessidade de promoo de cursos a respeito da filosofia do SUS.

Este artigo apresenta aspectos da trajetria do Hospital de Caridade So Pedro de Alcntara, na cidade de Gois, ao longo do sculo XIX. Instituio leiga fundada no ano de 1825, o hospital nasceu da iniciativa de um grupo local influente que reconheceu um mal social: a ausncia de assistência aos destitudos e enfermos. No que se referia assistência social, ele abarcava funes e princpios caritativos cristos, assistindo alienados, internados em crceres, doentes e necessitados em geral, e, com a inaugurao do cemitrio pblico, sepultava gratuitamente os indigentes.
