A PRÁXIS DO MERCADO EDITORIAL EVANGÉLICO. SIMILARIDADES E DIFERENÇAS ENTRE A PRODUÇÃO E DISTRIBUIÇÃO DO LIVRO EVANGÉLICO E DO LIVRO SECULAR NO BRASIL.

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo estudar o segmento editorial evangélico no Brasil, buscando identificar a práxis da sua produção, comercialização e marketing, comparando-a ao segmento editorial secular. Comparar o perfil do leitor evangélico com o perfil do leitor brasileiro em geral e, ainda, a produção e venda do segmento editorial evangélico com a produção e venda do segmento editorial secular também fazem parte dos objetivos da pesquisa. A metodologia incluiu pesquisa bibliográfica e documental e um estudo de casos múltiplos holísticos, envolvendo as editoras Mundo Cristão e Ediouro-Agir. Verificou-se que a práxis da produção do livro evangélico é semelhante ao do livro secular e que o mercado editorial evangélico cresce mais que o mercado secular. Outro resultado relevante desta pesquisa de dissertação foi a verificação de que o leitor evangélico lê mais que o brasileiro em geral, dados estes, obtidos utilizando-se da mesma metodologia e base de dados dos índices oficiais.(AU)

In Costa Rica, the documentary check is carried out, is insufficient, the increase in book production, making it difficult to keep track of document production in different formats or themes.Therefore it is necessary to have a documentary Control of Marine Biodiversity of the Gulf of Nicoya, Costa Rica, including from 1882 to early 2006, to serve as a contribution to cultural and scientific heritage, benefiting users and researchers concerned in the issue of marine biodiversity.This control will help to rescue the national and individual identity, being a contribution to national and universal document control, performed with standards set at national, regional or international helps to have the information, properly systematized, it is also a legacy to research in marine sciences and coastal favor the National University of Costa Rica currently has two stations in marine biology and coastal area at the sole attraction the Gulf of Nicoya, Costa Rica.

Book Review: "Below the Line: Producers and Production Studies in the New Television Economy by Vicki Mayer", Duke University Press, 2012

Vicki Mayer’s book is unusual in that, despite its title, it is not about television producers at all, or at least not in the sense that scholars and the television industry itself have traditionally understood the role. Digital media literacy : connecting young people’s identities, creative production and learning about video games

This chapter outlines examples of classroom activities that aim to make connections between young people’s everyday experiences with video games and the formal high school curriculum. These classroom activities were developed within the emerging field of digital media literacy. Digital media literacy combines elements of ‘traditional’ approaches to media education with elements of technology and information education (Buckingham, 2007; Warschauer, 2006). It is an educational field that has gained significant attention in recent years. For example, digital media literacy has become a significant objective for media policy makers in response to the increased social and cultural roles of new media technologies and controversies associated with young people’s largely unregulated online participation. Media regulators, educational institutions and independent organizations1 in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia have developed digital media literacy initiatives that aim to provide advice to parents, teachers and young people.

Youth media production and technology skills acquisition : opportunities for agency

This chapter explores youth media production involving video games within a formal media education context. It investigates the possibilities for agency in student production contexts where emphasis is on the acquisition of technological skills. It explores alternatives to the well-established approach to media education that aims to develop students’ critical reading capacities as a means to agency. The chapter discusses some of the implications of the differences between youth production with ‘older’ technologies like video and new forms like multimedia production. It also discusses theories of agency as they relate to media education and the challenges of considering agency in relation to new media production. Post structuralist concepts are introduced and used as the basis to explore opportunities for agency in the context of students designing and producing aspects of video games. The chapter argues that the creative and experimental work students undertake while using software to make games artefacts opens up possibilities for agency.

Independent television production, TV formats and media diversity in China

Beginning around 2003, television studies has seen the growth of interest in the genre of reality shows. However, concentrating on this genre has tended to sideline the even more significant emergence of the program format as a central mode of business and culture in the new television landscape. "Localizing Global TV" redresses this balance, and heralds the emergence of an important, exciting and challenging area of television studies.
