A contribuição da linguística textual e da teoria da relevância para o processo de inferenciação em textos publicitários

O presente trabalho apresenta uma análise descritiva desenvolvida com base em um corpus de 50 textos, do gênero publicitário, cujo objetivo é verificar como se processa a estratégia cognitiva, fundamental ao processamento textual e à construção de sentido, denominada de inferência. Partindo do pressuposto de que a atividade humana comunicativa perpassa por três peças-chave, integrativas e indissociáveis, que são o emissor, o texto e o receptor. Procurou-se estabelecer o papel da cada um desses elementos no processamento de inferências, tendo por base teórica dois ramos da Lingüística: 1) A Linguística Textual, que esmiuça o seu principal elemento-chave, o texto, enfatizando que atividades e processamentos cognitivos, mais especificamente a inferenciação, são utilizados; 2) A Pragmática, que vem subsidiando a Lingüística Textual, com a Teoria da Relevância de Sperber e Wilson (1986), na qual se buscam considerações pertinentes sobre o modo como a informação é representada na mente e como a mesma é processada inferencialmente.

The indexing is a kind of description whose aim is to establish concepts expressed in a document and representing them according to a documentary language. There are elements that can contribute to a more complete selection of terms that will represent the document, like the observation of its textual structure and the context where the indexing professional acts. The analysis of the book textual structure can be carried out in a way that facilitates the indexing, as the professional can foresee the parts of the text where he localizes and identifies the more representative terms of the textual content. In such a way, it is intended to comprehend and inquire, with the applying of Verbal Protocol, the use that São Paulo libraries indexers do from the textual structure during the determination of subjects in such a way as to obtain the disclosure of their procedures, difficulties and restrictions through the externalization of thoughts during the recording of the indexing task. From the data analysis, it was possible to find out that the right hand page, the back of the title page, the chapters and other parts of the book s structure provided the greater number of terms, becoming the most important ones for the indexing task.

This paper discusses the conception of textual genres present in the National Curriculum Parameters, regarding our school model, suggesting a program of support for pedagogical practice, the use of narrative genre, from their elements that organize this genre. The written productions of students showed significant growth indicators and ownership of the genre worked.

Optical coherence tomography evaluation of idiopathic macular hole treatment by gas-assisted posterior vitreous detachment

PURPOSE: To report a case of idiopathic macular hole, with vitreoretinal traction confirmed by optical coherence tomography that was successfully treated by a single intravitreous perfluoropropane (C3F8) gas bubble injection.METHODS: Case report. A 65-year-old patient with idiopathic macular hole (stage 2, one eye) received an intravitreous gas injection and was prospectively followed with optical coherence tomography.RESULTS: A complete posterior vitreous detachment was achieved within 6 weeks after gas injection. Visual acuity improved from 20/80 to 20/25 by 10 months of followup. Optical coherence tomography disclosed vitreoretinal traction release and macular hole closure. No complications were related to the procedure.CONCLUSION: This simple procedure can assist a complete posterior vitreous detachment with relief of the hyaloid-foveolar traction, facilitating macular hole closure. A produção de texto no ensino fundamental: uma experiência pedagógica

From a diagnostic on the learning of written text, this research aimed to carry out educational activities aimed at textual production, performing operation and activity of reflection on texts written by students in a learning situation of parallel recovery, aiming to improve the standard textuality of his written production. These actions were guided from the conception of language as social practice and discourse and, later, a survey was made in the standard of textuality textual productions resulting from such actions. 5 students participated in the research of a 4th grade of elementary school, a School of Duartina peripheral zone integrating the local school system of that city. The textual productions written by these students were analyzed from three categories: common mistakes in the process of literacy, with subdivisions: phonetic transcription, dialetação, hollow hipossegmentação or vocabulary, or improper separation hiperssegmentação, overcorrection, exchange, omission or addition letters, phonemes homorganic exchange; factors textual and contextual, in which it reviewed the following factors: coherence, cohesion and story elements, clarity, in which category were analyzed: the segmentation of text into paragraphs, grammar errors of different nature, use of direct and indirect speech. The results of the intervention and ongoing analysis of data shows that there has been considered developments in the performance of the written production of the research subjects
